Let me explain: Friendship IRL =\= same side in mafia. Your 'clearing' of Maxi based on that was lame and scummy. War mongering! I've been pushing for action, only against targets that Brienne, Calico (confirmed Town) AND I all agreed in, with .legonter, swils, and Chrimeknight also offering their opinions on our targets before we take action. I'm simply more assertive - and yes, derisive - than the other two, simply because that is my style of play the way I am, and I find that people slip up more when they are frustrated and that their responses while under pressure are often a better indicator of allegiance than responses in a jovial discussion. If I am 'warmongering' than so are all those other people because we all push for action on the same targets after long discussions based on logical reasoning. And if I'm derisive, than what is Scamander? Notice that we're not attacking Fleyra and Maxi right now, just keeping our suspicions of them on the table. Our evidence on Corelin and Shadir is more solid, so we are taking action against them first.

Your logic is off. If Maxi was scum, she'd have everything to gain by showing an investigation of you publicly. Investigators are who the town turns to for leadership in situations like these, so having the ability to investigate publicly as scum is huge. They can 'clear' their own and ingratiate themselves to the town by 'clearing' legit townies. And if you are scum then Maxi is as well. Luckily, you being scum is a quite safe assumption to make based on your behavior. So, to address your points: Both scum: Maxi being shown investigating you subconsciously makes people think you both are town due to investigators being primary leaders in other situations like this. Maxi Scum, you Town: Maxi ingratiated herself with you by doing something that makes you look good, and sunpbcnciously implies she is town because investigator usually equals Town Leader. Maxi Town, you Scum: Logically unsound, safe to eliminate. Both Town: Doubtful. If true, then the reasoning is obvious. But again, incredibly doubtful.

My belief is that a situation like this takes friends and pits them against each other and offering a friendship that has nothing to do with the situation at hand and expecting us to believe that you and your 'friend' are town is weak. Get a better defense.

If you need me to elaborate on why Fleyra is scummy, then you obviously haven't been paying attention for the last couple days. As for Maxi, can you seriously tell me 'Maxi and I made a pact to tell each other our true alignments and I know he's telling the truth' is not just a wee bit odd? Especially when Maxi proceeds to 'clear' Fleyra and 'prove' that one of the three Town leaders is scum, even after one of them has been proven Town? And the part about Retak was literally just a fact.
