Heroica RPG - Cruel Angel's Thesis ~ Day Five
Kadabra replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
We'll agree to disagree, then. If you're town I admire you for not giving up, but I am convinced that you're scum. And if everybody backed down and didn't follow through on their suspicions when the suspect argued back, then we wouldn't actually get anywhere. I think I'm a leader, so I should set a good example, huh?- 186 replies

I'll admit I was wrong about Brienne and Calico. Not about you. Chromeo, not Calico.- 186 replies

Three, if I'm not mistaken and Corelin is scum. From partial process of elimination on the remaining hand cannoneer, assuming that Doranee was being manipulated (likely by Shadir) and we only have one left, and then the other stuff if you go re-read the last couple day threads. And by 'told everyone to ignore it' you mean 'told everyone that I would keep my action on you but that if they were to test it they should take out Maxi instead of Brienne'. Result tested, scum caught.- 186 replies

They're on more than me and they're more experienced than me. It indeed was mostly the Brienne and Calico Show, I never claimed to be the leader of our group of three, just a leader compared to the rest of the town. And .i did contribute a good deal to our discussions and my opinions helped influence some things that did nab us scum, I.e going after Pyro instead of Zarissa night 1, which directly led to us nailing Ezeal. That's just from the 8 pages you can see, too. Also, I like how when there was suspicion beginning to be cast on the block, you were adamant that I was a puppeteer, but now that you know I'll be cleared tonight you're backing down and admitting that I might be a 'puppet'.- 186 replies

Heck no, that'd take forever. I do wish at could at least invite some people into the PM so they could see it for themselves, though. We were very actively scum hunting and I think that you wouldn't be so quick to accuse us of being passive and following the group if you could see it, but alas, it is beyond my abilities.- 186 replies

Werther said I could save myself some time, the investigation should be good enough for the new block to get me back in. I look forward to returning to your regularly scheduled leadership. This means you don't get to read the back-and-forth between Smeagol!Brickdoctor and Gollum!BlokDoctor, Zpilf. Too bad.- 186 replies

7&8/25 Highlights: Suspicions of Chromeo, Etzel, and Shadir. Action against Ezeal. Interestingly, Brienne is the one who brings up Shadir as a suspect, long before the process of elimination thing. Possible that she knew Calico would recognize Shadir's actions as being odd and wanted to bring it up first so as not to seem odd for not bringing it up. Good, thanks. EDIT: Wring quote, swapped it out.- 186 replies

5&6/25 Highlights: Here's our reasoning behind taking out Piro, I should hope that it seems logical enough to all of you. Also note hat we were suspicious of Cromeo. Plus, proof(ish) that I've been in contact with Ein since N1. We're tight. Luridan is in the town block? He may be probable town, but that doesn't mean he has good ideas or won't go spouting your plans to everybody.- 186 replies

3&4/25 Highlights: Brienne sort of tried to dissuade us from suspicion of Ezeal, but backed down quickly. Both Brienne and Calico have top-notch senses of humor.- 186 replies

Pages 1 and 2 of 25 Highlights: I was the one who brought up Etzel, rather than Calico (the confirmed Townie) or Brienne (probable scum). Etzel is scum, make of that what you will. Other than that nothing on these pages really comes to fruition. I'll have three and four up soon... This will take a while.- 186 replies

For one, Ein's in contact with me, he's part of the crew. For two, once I get home and off my phone I will personally multiquote the entire 20+ page original PM between just the three of us and post it publicly in a spoiler tag for all to see in order to prove that we were on the move working actively against every scum except Fernandu..- 186 replies

That's true that you haven't seen our PM, but Retak was not only nabbed due to my glass plan, he was also one of our initiatives and we were the ones who attacked him. It was also us who deduced that Shadir was scum through process of elimination, remember how we were accused of Mage genocide? I'll give you Fernandu, though, that was all Rubenstein.- 186 replies

If that was our plan then why did we nab as many scum as we did before enacting it? Name one scum we weren't directly involved in the killing of.- 186 replies

Who's covering their butt? It seems to me like you're trying to drag a misled Townie down with you. Be honest: How many scum would have openly allied themselves straight from D2? Is it more likely that Doc and Cromeo were trying to undermine a prospective Townie core or that ALL of us (again, who were the cause of every single scum death so far) were trying to influence Calico? The core doesn't have access to any magnifying glasses. And we also didn't order a seal on you. The core doesn't have access to any magnifying glasses. And we also didn't order a seal on you. Gah, I hate my phone.- 186 replies

Amendment: If there is any framing going on I will definitely donate any Gold I might have to raising Brienne or ?cromeo because if they are Town then this is a pretty crappy situation. Just gotta test the results.- 186 replies

Assuming Scamander revokes his action Kharybdis attacks Brienne, Cromeo, and Corelin and then transforms into Beast Form (again). As for my defenses: Cromeo we suspected of buddying and we kept him out of the loop until just recently... When we decided he seemed trustworthy enough. Should've seen that one coming. Brienne is just a dam good liar, neither Calico nor I suspected her.- 186 replies

Two new Quests on the Questboard. A year and the routine of the hall seemed to be the same- quiet and subdued during Quests, bustling with bartering .heroes after, and booming with hopeful prospective Questees whenever a batch was posted. Arasmyth idly wondered why the Questboard always seemed to be stocked in batches, with new Quests coming in groups with dry periods in between. Maybe people only needed help once every couple months or so. Either way, Quest 82 seemed quite simple and straightforward, perfect for easing back into the Heroing business, so Arasmyth quickly penned his name down for Quest #82: Stop the Presses.

Er, yes. I was around a while back, I fought for the Hinckwells and Lions in the elf-Lion war, among other things. I was absent from the hall for a while due to... personal reasons. Arasmyth didn't feel the need to mention that his reason was that he had been rotting in a grave in the Eubric Cemetery. Rumors of ghosts and grave robbers had discouraged him from stopping by to pick up his hat.

It seems we have a deal, Arasmyth says, accepting the gold and handing over the scroll.
