Jedi Temple Mafia - Day One
Kadabra replied to Masked Builder's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
"Chirpity click clack chirp. Chirp clack tweet screech. Tick click clack chirp chirp." (I believe she is the best lynch candidate because of her obvious pro-Scum argument, as well as her repeated and flawed defensesw. [i.e. claiming that she was only suggesting it because some players may not have been aware that we had the option to No-Lynch. Why would you bother offering inexperienced Jedi who didn't already know that an option that would only benefit Scum? ] If she were to explain her mindset on these fallacious defenses, or, as you said, provide a better candidate, I may switch my vote, but even if she were Town all she's done is confuse us, trip our Scumdars, clutter the thread air, and not offer any concrete opinions or accusations, as she has repeatedly stated she is on the fence about everything she's said, which is a major Scumtell. The reason for my short accusation with little explanation is that I felt Thrrepio and myself had already explained my suspicions thoroughly enough earlier on and I didn't wish for my explanations to seem redundant or tacked on, as my first post statement appeared to be. Once bitten twice shy, as they say. I apologize for any confusion this has caused, as I sadly seem to be quite adept with spreading it. I believe I need to be more blunt and obvious with my posts statements, I shall work on this in the future.) -

This is precisely why she didn't trip my scumdar originally while Anakin did. His defensiveness in his replies to loose, almost random accusations made me think he was scummy. Ahsoka's defenses have sent my Scumdar readings for her Up to Eleven, and I think she is the best lynch candidate today at this point unless she provides an adequate defense. -

"Chirpy chirp? Click tweet chirp tweet clack." (Well, Ahsoka? I've got my FoS on you, so if you don't produce any solid defenses, I think I know who I'll be voting for. ) -

"Clickity chirp, chirp chirp screech tweet!" (Even if some people weren't aware of the option of not voting when we have told you repeatedly that the only ones it would help are the Sith! It just gives them both a free night kill, a penalty to work with the next day, and we don't have any voting patterns to analyze! It's clear you deserve the Fingers of Suspicion that have been pointed at you from your obstinacy in sticking toward your pro-Scum plan!) -

"Clickity chirp chirp clack. Screech tweet twit tick chirp chirp." (I apologize for not speaking up to defend myself earlier, as I was asleep and then locked out of the temple for an impromptu cleaning session. I have adressed my tacked-on filler post previously and I believe that the essentials were indeed helpful as I was stating my suspicions and allowing others to observe me so they may decide the best course of action regarding me. If, seeing as I am inexperienced in these kinds of situations, you feel the best choice is to lynch me out of lack of a better candidate, then I shall submit, as my inexperienced chirps may clutter and confuse the issue. The reason we must vote and lynch tonight, Padawan, is because for us Jedi who do not have specialized Force techniques that would be particularly useful in this situation, voting and our discussion is our only weapon. By observing vote and FoS patterns, we can help to determine whom among us have been touched by the Dark Side. Now, to build discussion, I shall FoS: Anakin (Swills) for his defensiveness regarding his odd behavior and seeming to support a pro-Scum plan, and FoS: Ahsoka (MacK for bringing up the whole thing in the first place.) "Click Click Chirp: Tweet chirpity chirp." (For those stalkers among us who wondered why I opened my mouth, then left abruptly and am now returning, my dinner was burning as I had neglected it to come assist in this situation. This is what I was attenpting to convey before I was alerted to the fiery doom of my evening meal." -

Clicity clack screechity chirp. (That may be true, but many others did blow her off without warranting the FoS as you have.) OOC: Going to bed. See you guys in the morning, Pacific time. -

"Clickity clack chirp tweet? Twot tick tick tweet toot screech, screech screech tick chirp. (That did look tacked on, didn't it? What I was attempting to state was that metagaming, as Master Corobb was apparently doing, is a logical fallacy and can be used by Scum to support their arguments without real evidence, and can be used by inexperienced Townies to make an unwise vote. Thus, metagaming leads to suffering. I was quoting my previous statement for purposes of humor only, although do to its length it instead appeared to be filler material I was using to make my post seem more substantial than it was. For that I apologize.) "Clickity screech clackity tick, chirp chirp." (This is true, and young Ahsoka may deserve the FoS as well, but you seemed highly supportive of her opinions to me, and you repeated the strategy whilst inputting how you think it should be implemented, which implies you support it.) "Click chirp click screech, clack tick tock." (Although I don't truly suspect you at this point, as you request it, I cast FoS: Master Corobb (Flipz). I feel your defenses will be helpful in determining the Scum, whether or not you are one.) -

"Click chirpitychirp tweet, tweet click. Clickity tweet tweet chirp, screech screech click." (I do not have any concrete suspicions as of yet, but I shall leap into the discussion so others may observe my behavior. The ones I am going to keep an eye on to see if they do deserve the Finger of Suspicion and a possible vote are, at the moment, our resident Chosen One for his odd talk of ties and investigators and implying that giving the Sith a free night to kill another would be a good idea, and Master Corobb for his metagaming. As I have previously stated, Fear lead to anger. Anger leads to passion. Passion leads to jealousy. Jealousy leads to nurturing. Nurturing leads to weakness. Weakness leads to humility. Humility leads to injustice. Injustice leads to heroism. Heroism leads to pride. Pride leads to patriotism. Patriotism leads to totalitarianism. Totalitarianism leads to power. Power leads to authority. Authority leads to Appeal to Authority. Appeal to Authority leads to metagaming. And metagaming leads to SUFFERING! I have also been reminded that suffering is occasionally typed as "suffrage", which seems similar but is actually the entirely unrelated concept of equal voting rights for all, which leads to voting, which, depending on the situation, leads to a presidential election or the formation of a lynch mob.) -
When I was new(er) I read ALL teh Quests before I even joined. I still read every Quest, and no Heroica topics have the "new posts" arrow for long.

Nay, Kadabra is only found on Route 8, Route 215, or in the Cerulean Cave. According to the Pokedex, which we all know is a lying bastard, it is also found in urban areas near humans such as abandoned houses, back alleys, etc. Other than that, you're going to have to evolve Abra or get one in a trade if you want to find Kadabra. I have no idea where you got the idea it would be in a fictional desert in a fantasy play-by-post roleplaying game...

"CHIRP CLICKCLICK TWEET!" (Ha! "Volenteer? I'm not the only one who makes typos! )

"Chirp tweet chirp chirp click!" (I have realized my true role in this situation, as well as the fact that I'm supposed to be speaking Talzzi, i.e. chirps and clicks!)

Goddamn spellcheck, not catching that for me! My meditations have failed to bring me any insight whatsoever as to my role in this event, silly. That was the whole topic of the previous conversation. But look at you, desperately misusing my words to twist the situation in you're favor! It is clear that YOU are the scum!!!!1!!1

My meditations have revealed, on the other hand, that speculating as to the nature of those beings other than ourselves whilst outside the temple walls shall result in punishment admonistered by Master Yoda.
-
I concur with your concurrence of that concurrence, ( ) as my meditations to have failed to bring me any insight whatsoever.

I just couldn't pass up that pun once I realized we were Questing for a magical Grail with reptile themed characters. There might be a few references or quotes thrown in, but don't expect a full blown parody, the title was just for pun.

I apologize for my harshness, and I understand that hosting can be a pain (It's been tough just planning my Quest and I haven't even got to host it yet ). I guess I was just frustrated by the OP items you've produced, like these, the Jo-No tree (not just the original seeds, the whole thing in general), the Fire Amulet, etc., as well as you're repeated OOC only posts on Quests and tendency to post without fully reading the thread and lashed out. It was uncool and immature of me, as I know roleplaying can be difficult if you're new, especially when stats and such get involved, and the option to just skim through and only look at things that concern us or to create OP items and abilities just for the "cool" factor can be tempting. I hope you forgive me.

An excellent idea. My first Quest shall have the party restriction, "We're looking for any and all able Heroes, Alfs and Johons excluded." I mean seriously? First that's a ridiculous amount of loot for an easy battle, second, the shield is OP, and third, those items are ridiculously specific and slightly overcomplicated. A shield that can't be used from the back row? AQ throwing weapon that causes random status effects and not damage? Why ot just give it a weak starting WP and slap on a Stun condition?

This is a mish-mash combination of one of my simpler Quest ideas, a Wolfgang-centric one, and the suggestion I've gotten multiple times now that my Quest idea should be split into multiple parts. I's still like to host the uber-Quest once I'm a wee bit more experienced, however many Quests that takes, but I've decided to make the plot I'd worked out a bit deeper with some prodding from Flipz, so I'll be pitching two or three prologue Quests that take place here in Eubric that involve the existing houses as well as my own faction, the Serpentine Kingdom of the Archipelago of the Elements. So here's the first of my ideas: Quest:#??: Mamba Python and the Elemental Grail Quest Master: Kadabra Assignment: Hello, heroessssss. I am Private Python, a Dragonborn serving Hissssss Majessssty the Dragon Princcccce of the Archipelago of the Elementsssss, a far-off island chain that I doubt any of you Eubricianssssss are familiar with. Reccccently, one of Hissss Majessssty's prized treasuressss wassss sssstolen from him, a powerful artefact known assssss the Elemental Grail. It hassss the power to convert ordinary rockssss into gemsssstonesssss when filled with a dragon'sssssss sssaliva. The thief sssssssplit the Grail into ten partsssss, presssssumably to pawn them of ssssseperately. Our Lieutenant isssssss tracking down the nine flawlessssssssss gemsssss set in the Grail, whilsssssst the General issssss hunting the original thief. I have been assssigned to track down the Golden Chalicccccce, the cup of pure gold that is the basssse of the Grail. My ssssscout forcccce hasssss recieved intel that a gang that hassss been causssssing trouble in your cccccity has obtained possssssession of the chaliccccce. Thisssss appears to be a prime opportunity for collaboration - you help me retrieve the cup, and my forcccce shall asssssssisssst you in dealing with this gang. - Private Mamba Python Party Requirements: A group of three ought to be perfect for thisssss tassssk. Reward: 600 Gold to split, improved relations with the Serpentine Court, and a level of experience each.

Female Knight: Lady August Lady August was born to Lorcan Hinckwell's nana, and grew up alongside him as a playmate. Due to her status as the best friend of Heinrich's firstborn, she was raised as a Lady rather than a commoner and granted more privileges than the other servants. She was raised behind a veil of deception, taught always that the Hinckwells embodied the greater good and that the Shadeaux were villains who came to Eubric to usurp the benevolent rule of Heinrich and Laureline. This fairy-tale illusion was shattered one day when she bore witness to a group of Heinrich's men, led by her friend Lorcan, ambush and brutally murder a young Shadeaux in a back alley to steal a document of some sort. Shocked and disgusted by this, she confronted Lorcan, who sneered at her and told her to get her head out of the clouds, and that this was how life went. Horrified, she ran away from home, and eventually joined Heroica as a knight bearing the Hinckwell crest to redeem her house by doing good deeds for those in need under their name. Fun question challenge, Flipz. I have no clue how plausible this story is, as we haven't yet seen Lorcan (I think), and I have no clue whether or not he's old enough to be doing his father's dirty work for him yet.

Samurai X's armor and helm are both "gunmetal grey", and the match the Kingdoms Dragon Knight armor and weapons perfectly, as darkdragon stated. I love my Samurai X figure to bits, and her stuff has been great for my minifigs!

Don't worry, this won't be for a while, it's just the only one that's been MOCed for and planned fully. I've been planning this for ages, ever since I joined, actually, but I do plan to host other, shorter Quests first, I just don't have anything specific or built, so I just posted this one first.
