Holy Celestia, lots of posts while I was typing that monstrosity.

First, no OOC only posts in the hall, please. Second, you do this sort of thing too frequently and too over-the-top, making your character some sort of chosen one with a fairy, a dragon, special Quests he goes on by himself, and random fighting moves, half of which you don't even know the names of. (Case in point: I remember one time you said "Alf does that one thing where you step on the end of a bench and it flips up into the air". ) Second, barbarians are steriotypically less than geniuses, and you have done nothing to discourage such a stereotype, such as speaking in Orc-speak when you first joined and doing random, unrealistic things, so you shouldn't say barbarians know when things are unrealistic when you clearly don't. Barbarians are never listed as having "wild fighting skills", they're described as warriors of the wild who prefer a brute force method. That imples brutally eviscerating foes with giant blades or smashing their skulls in with clubs, not cheesy action movie Robin Hood knife slinging, especially when barbarians can't even use throwing weapons. As for the staff, I didn't have a trans-blue light saber hilt, deal with it. More seriously, a kitchen knife would not embed itself in a gemstone on any universe, so yeah. Finally, learn how to take a joke, the Hall is full of delusional idiots like you. Remember Leo's random NPC love interest no one could see? Tl;dr, not riffing on you, trying to offer constructive criticism. You're too Mary Sue-ish (look it up yourself, I don't want to be responsible for causing you to get fired because I linked you to TvTropes and you didn't do any work ) and have false beliefs that barbarians are superhumans. The black part on the staff is Suspension of Disbelief, and the post was intended humourously.

I'd like to see Boomingham and Cronk go on any sort of Quest where the Wolfgang show up and bribe them to do something morally ambiguous. Battle of Wills between our two resident badass paladins.
-
"Look at him, completely delusional. He seems to think he's beating me up and kicking my crotch despite me being seated at a table having a civil discussion with you and no possible access routes for him to reach my groin area. In addition, his knife wildly missed, as being a Barbarian, he has zero skills in the throwing weapon department. Finally, my staff is safely tucked away in a private compartment in the Ether that follows me around (How else could I carry all this stuff around without being hindered in battle? ), so even if his knife had been within a mile of me it couldn't possibky have embedded itself in my staff. Besides, the thing is pure Sapphire and these knives are iron. It would've bounced off, not got stuck in the staff."

"No worries, he's an idiotic showoff who thinks he's better than everyone else because he knows how to sleep without a bedroll. He's actually a total wimp, the Quest books in the library record him as hiding in the back row and guzzling Potions like normal Barbarians would booze. His IQ is lower than a mentally deficient boulder, though."

Jedi Temple Mafia - Day Four

Chirp whistle whistle tweet chirp tweet. (After a quick browse through today's holo vids, I can say that at the moment I still trust Coryn and that Euna's lynch is certainly the way to go.) -
"We seem to be in agreement on many things, Cleric. I can tell that this is the start of a wonderful friendship."

Flipz, I missed one of your Questions of the Indeterminate Time Period, so here's my belated answer: Arasmyth's current feelings can be best reflected by Uncle Kracker's In a Little While. Although it's obviously intended to represent a separation from a lover, I think it describes Arasmyth's homesickness quite well. As for a Black Knight specific artifact, I'd like to see an Empathy Link: Forms a bond with one of your party members. You may drain their health as well as your own for Mortal Hits. That'd be interesting, I think.

"Necromancy is a foul and distasteful school of magic, and those who practice it are fools who abuse the Ether. As for the barbarian's assessment of your mental prowess, I find myself in hearty agreement with him."
-
"Oh? The Ziegfreids are one of the six houses in Eubric, and although they are by no means infallible, they are the closest thing we have to order in this cesspool of anarchy. N addition, they're currently working to eradicate the ancient demon Abraxas, a being who is truly evil. How, in any way, is this villainous?"
-
"I hope you are correct, friend."

Thanks! I'm looking over Kadabra's shoulder right now, and I must say I'm very proud of that technique. ~Xalen: SSoP

It wiggles slightly, but the chest plate locks it in place.
-
Ah! Your method is very similar to my nephews: I think his uses fewer pieces and doesn't push the chest out as much, though. I can also see you had the same idea as him about the spare connection points on the MTIS - he uses it to attach a short sword to the back, and a pair of System spears to the barrels as poison darts.

Amulet of Erosion: This Sapphire coin harnesses the power of time to let Wind chip away at stone. (Allows Wind to damage Rock foes) Stone Amulet: This coin, carved from Garnet, allows spires of rock to shoot into the air to damage airborne opponents. Two birds with one stone, as they say. (Allows Earth to damage Flying foes) Melting Point Amulet: This coin, made from a Ruby, superheats Fire attacks to the point they can melt stone into slag. (Allows Fire to damage Rock foes) Rat Poison Amulet: This Emerald coin contains a natural insecticide that makes Wood based attacks harmful to vermin. (Allows Wood to damage Vermin foes) Those would be nice, especially for elementally restricted Mages like me.

"Magic breeds order, not chaos. Without it we would be helpless to the forces of evil. How long could you last in battle with a daemon without Holy damage support from a Mage or the healing powers of a cleric?"
-
Yeah, I was wanting to use the belt detail for something. Seemed a shame to let some perfectly good connection points go to waste! I might just use your suggestion. Glad you like them, and you too K-nut. K-Nut. K-whatever.

So, my fourteen year old nephew (Xalen: Shadowed Spirit of Plasma on BZPower) and my 18 year old brother (Bioniclover, who plays the Heroica RPG here but otherwise just lurks) are both staying at my place for the summer. We all just pulled an all-nighter and finished a playthrough of the four main-series Assassin's Creed games. We then decided to collaborate on a Hero Factory project inspired by the games. We're working on a fanfiction/'epic' as they're called on BZP, where I write and the other two help brainstorm and proofread, and we all busted out our Hero Factory pieces and started MoCing akk the characters. And I mean ALL the characters. So I'll be posting chapters on BZP under his account (as I don't have one) and MoCs as they appear in the story on both forums. To start it off, the three main characters, and our respective Self-MoCs: Ian Ion Ian is a cool and calculating Hero who stays calm under fire. Built in the first mainstream wave of 2.0 heroes, he's a rookie on Bobby Blast's Pi-17 team. He always has a plan, and his AI is designed for maximum speed so he can think on the fly to adapt his approach and improvise if things go wrong. Favored Weapon: Chakram Gear: Helmet with comm link, HUD, and camera, chakram, short sword, retractable wrist blade, poison darts, flexible lightweight stealth oriented armor Notes: This is Xalen's self-moc Here's how the MTIS attatches: I like this design, which I may have to steal from Xalen one day. The MTIS sits flush with the back as if it were connected with two pegs, but it's a unit lower so it doesn't look odd or interfere with shoulder articulation. Keith Crusher Keith is the strong, silent type. He's a lot smarter than he looks, and is a mathematical genius. You wouldn't guess it, though, because he never really talks. He prefers to let his battle-ax do the talking for him. He's a Recon team member who usually works off-site to provide support from a computer, but he gets called in to do field work if the find a planet they need moved or a mountain that requires lifting. Favored Weapon: Battle-ax Gear: Helmet with comm link, HUD, and camera, battle-ax, longsword, retractable wrist blade, acidic throwing knives, heavyweight stealth armor with computer interface and USB ports. Notes: This is Bioniclover's self moc I like the innovative use of the Savage Planet shields for leg armor I feel like the color scheme could use some cleaning up, but BL insists it's fine Bobby Blast Bobby Blast is the leader of the low rankes Pi 13 team, but that's just a front. He reports directly to Merrick Fortis as lieutenant of the Recon team. He loves anything that goes BOOM and feels the need to make everything he does as flashy and dramatic as possible. Unlike his partner Crusher, he goes on as many field missions as possible. He just returned from his Catch 'Em and Cuff 'Em job, where he was selected for his explosive expertise to prevent crime lord Xplode from stealing a couple tons of thermonuclear weaponry on the factory planet Industria. He feels it was his best mission yet. The collateral damage bill for destroying a small planet in a giant nuclear explosion feels otherwise. Of course, he evacuated all inhabitants first. What kind of hero would he be if he didn't? Favored Weapon: Longbow Gear: Helmet with comm link, HUD, and camera, longbow, longsword, retractable wrist blade, explosive throwing knives, middleweight high-impact heatproof stealth armor Notes: My self moc Absolutely perfect in every way, wouldn't you agree? Gadgets & Gizmos: Retractable Wrist Blade A standard issue gauntlet that hides a deadly surprise. All three heroes have one. Based on the hidden blade from Assassin's Creed. Longbow Throwing Knives http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/9697/herofactory010.jpg' alt='herofactory010.jpg'> Standard issue tri-point throwing knives. Crusher's are coated in highly corrosive acid while Blast's -what else- explode on impact. Longsword Nothing special about this blade. Doesn't mean you can't brutally eviscerate henchbots with it, though. Battle-Ax This heavy-duty battle-ax is made of a strong titanium alloy and can cut through anything like it was a hot knife through butter. Chakram This razor bladed disk can be used as a melee or throwing weapon. Short Sword Shorter, lighter, and faster than the longsword. Preferred by Ion due to its lighter weight. Poison Darts These hollow steel darts contain nanobots that infiltrate and shut down foes from the inside. It's as close as you can get to poisoning a robot. Note: These are used on Ion because the Sai piece from Ninjago doesn't fit in the MTIS holes securely. Once one of us gets Nex, this will be remedied. Thoughts? C&C? All comments appreciated.

"They are ungrateful, stinky peasants who do not understand the wonders of the Ether and attempt to recreate it with their herbs and chemicals. Bah! Mages and clerics are superior in every way."
-
I love the "Dark Matter" character! He's well designed with the right amount of bulk and no gaps. Great backstory, as well! Can't wait to see more!

"I'd sign up as long as we aren't helping alchemists."

"The Hinckwells are one of the richest houses, so I've noticed that their monetary rewards do actually tend to be larger. Not as many artifacts or items from them, though."

Jedi Temple Mafia - Day Three
Kadabra replied to Masked Builder's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Chirp tweet chirp chirp whistle. (Ditto. Vote: C3PO (Brickdoctor) Also, technically I did the FoS: Gibberty (Gooberty) thing first. You should modkill me. ) -
Oh, so it was an Assassin's Creed reference? Wow, I feel stupid for unintentionally getting I reference when I was intentionally trying to read into things too much.
