So...anyone want to know how I was so convincing now? =P It was fun watching you guys squirm after I was killed (wrongly ^.~), really - The true outcome of the game had been hinted at by Pius in a PM after I died (telling me not to tell you guys I wasn't a heretic, by the way, or ask about it in public until the game was over), and after that it only took a bit of work. Haha - good going guys! I don't know if this is new, but I didn't notice it before - that annoying little "5 per order" blurb is now there in all the Pirate sets! That's usually reserved for Star Wars - guess we're really showing them some love for these! =D ~Trexxen

So for Christmas I can confirm I'm getting a Shipwreck Hideout and a Soldiers' Fort, yay! That brings my total sets to: 2 Shipwreck Hideout (it's an amazing set!) 1 Soldiers' Fort (Plan to pick up at least 2 more by the end of 09) And that's just what I'll have at 11 AM Christmas day - THEN I go to my grandparents' house =D (Anyone counting soldier figs, that brings me to 4 soldiers, 3 officers, and an admiral. =D) ~Trexxen

I love you. This, people - THIS. And I especially like that, although somewhat off-topic, you brought up Video Games, too - it's funny how when a violent videogame, or toy, appears on the shelves; especially when it has high publicity (GTA, I'm looking at you), any crime committed by anyone who happens to have played the game before is instantly because they played the game, or had the toy - no, no, and NO. It's because of their surroundings in general. If you don't ever touch an M-Rated game, or buy a violent toy, and yet your school is full of people tossing around curses so often the teachers decided not to care anymore, your parents or friends own more guns than the average hunter, and your neighborhood is full of drugs or prostitution, you've taken out the "media-backed" factor and you're still going to be more likely than most people to turn out "bad". Meanwhile, I'm glad that Will's getting some publicity from this, good or no - even if his site may eventually be boycotted by some radical religious organization (as if any of them use lego anyways, lol), this spike in sales, even if temporary, will end up being a good thing. Every cloud, it would seem, does have a silver lining. =D (Oh, and by the way, I trusted Fox News and still do - I disagree with them from time to time, and this was one of those times, but they're still my main news source ^.~) ~Trexxen

I have Shipwreck Hideout at the moment, and for Christmas will be acquiring at least a Soldiers' Fort. I'll likely end up getting some of the smaller sets too, and at least one Soldier's Arsenal =D ~Trexxen

Actually Lego12, that brings up a good point - you have the figs from Soldier's Fort, right? Are you interested in keeping the soldiers from those sets? ^.~ (I'm going to trade the Wench to DJ Force if I don't get an offer for all three of my figs by Monday - Sorry Skelotic, but his PM came before I saw your post and I had already given him first dibs when I decide to split it up D= ) ~Trexxen

The new Construction sets are up too - sorry if I'm late on it, but I didn't see a topic about it (then again, I don't come here often...=P). Currently they have the Construction Site and Dump Truck. =P (Sets we've already gotten at TRU, but it's great to see them without redonkulous price hikes!) ~Trexxen

Ooh, now THIS is new and interesting! I like this game - it's less "mafia" and more "mystery", like a detective game - seems like it'll be fun! I think it might be some law in the USA or something - I know that I've heard of other stores doing that too, but don't quote me on this as I'm not certain. I still haven't had an opportunity yet (due to lack of funds, not lack of wanting ^.~) to order some Brickarms, but if I have money when these come out I'll be sure to pick them up on day 1! Just curious on a few things, by the way, if you can answer them - I understand some of this may have to wait until they are released, but... 1. You mentioned that the new frag grenade will be coming out in trans light blue; will this be in a pack like most of the other color variants, or will you be able to order them separately? *crosses fingers for the latter* 1a. If the latter is true, will there eventually be new colors for some of the other weapons? 1b. What colors would the Plasma Energy Sword come in? Just the (from the appearance of the pictures) trans-light-green, or other colors too? What about solid colors? 2. I recall the last time I saw the needler, it was stated that it had too many difficult steps in the process to ever be mass-marketed - I'm assuming that A. this was due to the multiple colors and B. this has been ironed out. Are these assumptions correct? 2a. Would this also be the reason that the Pistol will only be coming in single colors? 2b. Also, has Will ever considered making the multi-colored versions as (obviously much more expensive) special orders? 3. Well that means I'm pretty much boned - my mom can't go shopping until after 4 due to work, so I can kiss my dreams of ever obtaining an ISD goodbye =P Oh well, like I said in the sales and deals thread, I still can fall back on the $60 MTT, or the $50 King's Castle Siege, or the Half-Off Aquabase Invasion I guess...or better yet, I can get one of the Factory sets at $35 and other small items. =P

So...I've decided that I don't need the Pirate figs I got in the Shipwreck Hideout. This means that some lucky EBer who can give me the best offer is going to get their hands on them! I'll be trading off (I'd rather not sell unless the offer's very nice - trading is my preferred method!) these three figs [PREFERABLY as a set, now, I'm willing to change that, but it'd be much easier on me to trade them as a set, so please consider that...] for other Pirate (and some non-Pirate) parts, including (bold being major wants): -Bluecoats w/ Shakos (soldiers) -Bluecoats w/o Shakos (soldiers) -Redcoats w/ Shakos (Guards) -Shakos period =P -Epaulettes, any color -Ship Hulls (Old or new, preferably brown ones) -Governor (Soldiers) -Treasure Chests [You wouldn't believe the amount of gems I have for my Pirates...] -Shooting Cannons (Preferably new ones) -Gold Coins -Jewels, any color EXCEPT Trans-Neon-Green (I have about 25 of those now...)
