  1. Gamertag: Trexxen Plays: GTA IV, Rock Band 2, Halo 3 Time Zone: Eastern Standard Time (US, GMT-5 if I recall correctly...) I'm usually on anywhere from 7-12 EST, but if you want to PM me to set up a match I'm fine with that. Make sure to let me know you're from EB when you make the request, though I'd probably let it go through anyways =P ~Trexxen
  2. I'm sending a PM now, I've got several figures you want =D ~Trexxen
  3. Standup only: -Gabriel Iglasias -Dane Cook -Jeff Dunham Adding non-stand up: -Adam Sandler (Everyone here HAS to see Don't Mess With The Zohan. It's amazing.) -Jack Black There's a ton of standup comics I forgot, sadly - I like a lot, though. =P ~Trexxen
  4. Ah, sooner than I expected! Count me in; maybe this time the serial killer (if there is one... ) won't take me out on bad suspicions... ~Trexxen
  5. YES. Lego and Rock Band are two of my absolute favorite hobbies, and a combination of the two would be epic. They'd HAVE to include The White Stripes, though... ~Trexxen
  6. -As darthperson said, go for the Motorcycle Chase - two motorcycles for your civilians is never a bad thing! -UNLIKE Darthperson, though, I reccommend the 4x4 and Boat set from the coast guard - it makes sense to go along with your 8-wide Garage-styled vehicles, does it not? =P -The 4WD with Horse Trailer is an amazing set, and one of my favorites now of all time - it has a unique build, and probably the only official lego build I've seen outside of the UCS or modular town sets that utilizes the 5:2 ratio for SNOT. It's amazing, and adds variety - a must have. -Finally, for just parts, I'm going to say get the Medieval Market Village. Yes, it's castle, but I'm recommending it as a parts pack - tons of nice colors for houses, and in normal bricks - plus cows and other good stuff. All else aside, it could even make for a nice "old" house if you wish =P ~Trexxen
  7. This is the set you're thinking of - I know because I was considering picking one up recently, but didn't. Looks like a nice set, though =P ~Trexxen

I think that "meh", be it fortunate or not depending on who you ask, is ingrained in internet society, and even reality, as much as "lol" or "brb" is. "Meh" is merely the written form of the exclamation sometimes used when something is mediocre, or just a longer version of "eh". Now, people that use it for "my" or "me"...THAT is annoying, but meh, it's not my problem. Anywho, a few more... Megabloks - I didn't put it in my original post because it's really self-explanatory -_- "Chavs", as many europeans call them - here they're referred to as "wangsters", "posers", or any number of other words that are generally used to demean the group. I seriously don't see what's so cool about walking around at the age of 14 talking about how many car windows you slashed while you were high last night before you went home and probably got an STD from your girlfriend - I mean, I'm a believer in freedom of expression, but I'm also free to express strong dislike for that kind of expression. =P Oh, and console fanboys in general. No, I don't care about how many more FPS you can get on a game on the PS3, I don't care that LittleBigPlanet and MGS4 are "superior" to Halo 3 and Gears Of War 2, and I don't give a crap that any other system has better graphics than the Wii. Every system is good, it just depends on what you're looking for. Online play? Grab a 360. Family fun? We like Wii. Technical junkie? PS3. (Me? I own a 360 and a Wii, and the Wii was my console of choice - and I do consider myself a hardcore gamer. Anyone who says the Wii is JUST for casual gamers is sorely, sorely mistaken.) ~Trexxen
  9. rcpeck, depending on where you are in the US it will take 3-8 days to ship to you. Generally if you're on the east or eastern-midwest you should get it in 3-5 days, or if you're in the western US or the furthest NE states (Maine, etc.) it could be 4-8 days...also, depending on snow etc. Matteo Kenobi, if you can't use S@H just wait - the new Clone Wars sets are hot items due to their extensive advertising (for kids) and their high collectability (for adults). It might take you a little while, but you'll get them eventually - if you just can't wait for the stores to (re)stock, though, try Lego's online store; they've got most of the sets not sold out =D ~Trexxen
  10. He probably is, but the way Bara Magna's been portrayed so far makes it seem like even the villages may not be a safe haven, so the outer regions must be difficult to traverse alone. There's power in numbers - Strakk just wants that power for himself. =D ~Trexxen
  11. Ordered the 10193 MMV and the $10 Power Miners set (Granite Grinder) from S@H yesterday. They should arrive the same time I return from my grandparents', joy! =D ~Trexxen
  12. I've ordered one (along with the $10 Power Miners set =P) as one last Christmas BANG for myself, with all the money I got at today's annual family reunion - can't wait for it to arrive! ~Trexxen
  13. Alright, so long as ours (myself and IS) keeps the scheduled April/May slot - technically we were prepared, at least for the release date planned (Although I don't mind being pushed BACK, it'll make it that much sweeter - we've got a rather complex game going =P) ~Trexxen
  14. Well, I'll post a pic soon, but for now... -Every 09 Pirate set save for Brickbeard's Bounty (but that's ok, I'm getting money on my birthday to go torwards Black Seas Barracuda =D) -Rebel Scout Speeder -(TECHNICALLY, I'd explain but it'll take a while) King's Castle Siege (Lego stops there) -Halo 3 -GTA IV -Mario Kart Wii -Wii Play -Rechargable Wiimote batteries -Wii Wheel -1 Year XBox Live ...oh, and... -Awesome cherry red electric guitar, complete with amp! =D ~Trexxen
  15. So it's entirely worth it! So far all I've gotten is the AC/DC "Fan Pack", which comes with the Rock Band expansion (which is awesome), a live DVD (which is awesome), and a shirt (which is awesome, but doesn't fit me). I know of some other things I'm getting, though...=P Soldier's Fort (=D) Shipwreck Hideout (Another one, it's just that good of a set) (Assumed) Rebel Battlepack Halo 3 GTA IV and a year of XBox Live. Oh, and the best part... A bag of M&M's premiums. XD ~Trexxen
  16. ...Are those Skrall? I always knew it was a she... ~Trexxen
  17. Indeed, merry Christmas to all! May your packages rattle with the radiant, joyous sound of hard ABS! ~Trexxen (Who is spending the day baking and generally enjoying himself - most of the hard work is done, now it's time to kick back and enjoy the day! Carpe diem =D)
  18. Indeed, Merry Christmas to all of Eurobricks! May your packages rattle and be full of molded ABS, or anything else you may desire! =P (Yay saying the same thing, but wording it differently ) ~Trexxen

I'm also slightly annoyed by poor grammar/spelling, as well as the "Sounds, looks, and feels like lego, but it isn't" thing, being the recipient of many things that have done that...;_; For myself, though... -People coming in and bothering me when I have friends over (ESPECIALLY if we're doing something, like Rock Band) -People trying to talk to me while I have music on (this one really gets on my nerves D=) -My alarm clock (It doesn't go off when I want it to, but when I don't want it to, *BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP...*) There's many more, but I don't want this to be a list, so I'll leave it as it is. =P ~Trexxen
  20. As someone who uses his mom's pink camera, I must say... Haha, I got an early gift a few days ago because my parents gave my brother his TV early (setup and all that would have taken too long)...so since I haven't taken a pic of it yet, as it's not my MAIN haul (and I'll have pics of that either tomorrow night or Friday =D), here's a Wal-Mart.com pic: Rock on =D ~Trexxen
  21. Brickmaster, that is true - but some of these parts are at least somewhat new, and the orange definitely is. I do recall somewhere way back in the topic, someone mentioned that there were real mining vehicles with similar color schemes - but I think you're probably right, since Lime isn't a color used in large amounts in other sets...=P Also, Chef Hatchet, I'd say to go with the Claw Digger - better parts, a harder to get monster, and only having to buy one = win for you =P ~Trexxen
  22. On the whole "Price per piece" debate... You have to take into consideration that there are so many new parts going into this theme, and so many other large molds. -Telescope* -Cannons (Definitely a change from the old ones; they don't shoot as far) -Fire/Plumes* -The new hull parts -The island baseplate On top of that, we have the return of many items whose old molds are likely unusable, such as the hats. And then all the new prints... -ALL the torsos (* on the Shipwreck Hideout female pirate's torso) -Brickbeard's head -SH Female Pirate's head -Depressed Pirate (Loot Island)* (And his legs) -Governor's Head -Shako and Bicorne printing -Small Imperial and Pirate flags -Large Flags/Sails (I guess this is what they'd go under, it's just printed plastic/canvas.) The only set, as far as I recall, with any stickers is the Fort - now isn't that good value when you consider it? (* = used in other lines) ~Trexxen
  23. I'm pretty sure we know how they're doing in the market; Pirates are the first line I've seen other than SW that Lego's put a buy limit on - now THAT'S saying something! Anywho, on the topic at hand, I'm fairly certain that it'll continue as it is now - mostly historic, with the occasional smattering of myth in one or two sets per release. I'm fine with it that way; I won't be buying KA anyways (Let the Pirate fans have their figures, I want the soldiers =P)... ~Trexxen
  24. +1 more to Exobuilder - another smooth transaction, no major problems! (^.~) ~Trexxen
  25. DJ, I'll get back to you on Monday or so if the person that offered me for the lot (Imperials! =O) doesn't get back to me by then - don't let me forget! ~Trexxen
