  1. Edit: Now I do have a pic! Yay! Made with: This hair in black OR this hat. This head. White epaulettes. This torso, with white hands. And pure black legs. ~Trexxen
  2. Nice! It appears to actually be a blend of lots of your older models...I spy the Contortion and an emerging Cyclopean Virtue for sure; and that's just the ones I can name off the top of my head! On top of that, the writing is superb as well - it actually (somewhat worryingly =P) somewhat describes my ideas of the universe - great minds think alike, I guess? O_o Some of my favorite features of this MOC (and there's a lot of them...) would have to be the way you integrated the Cyclopean Virtue (it looks like it's burrowing out of the ground!), the ants (How many of them would you estimate are there?), and the way the contortion is binding one of your infamous minifigs. Overall it's an amazing model - the studless design giving it the elegance of an ancient city, but the black fantasy adding an appropriate touch of surrealism. ~Trexxen
  3. Well, although I was there a shorter time than most games, I still say that this has by far been one of my favorites - the days are a perfect length, the active posters are ACTIVE (18 pages? O__o), and I was able to really flesh out Bernard as a character in the time I was with him. In death many things will be revealed...nah, not really =P But yeah, it was a great game, and towards the end it actually got really emotional as I/he accepted everything...oh well, there's always next game for a comeback! (If I don't get taken out by the scum...D=) So...now that I'm out of stuff to do here, I suppose I should get working on that Pirate game...I want to make a pool of 50 or so roles to choose from so that there's plenty of variety - mind that of course not everyone will be getting one...but that's topic hijacking, isn't it, so I'll leave that to the index. Bernard no more, ~Trexxen
  4. Right on! Muse is amazing, though my favorites by them are probably either Map of the Problematique, Hysteria, or Stockholm Syndrome. By the way, a church I went to recently was playing Starlight - it started the second I sat down, actually, so it was the most epic part of my life still today =P Currently listening to... Inertiatic ESP - The Mars Volta (amazing prog/experimental band combining the vocal style of Muse or Coheed and Cambria with the music of Dream Theater or Rush) Take The Veil - The Mars Volta (*looks down*) White Pearl, Black Oceans - Sonata Arctica (So much WIN) Feels Like The First Time - Foreigner (Can play on Keyboard =D) Whiskey In The Jar - Metallica (I don't care that it's a cover, I don't care that it's post Black Album, this is Metallica's best song IMO.) [EDIT] Also, Why Does It Hurt When I Pee? - Frank Zappa (Pure. Epic. Look it up on Youtube.) ~Trexxen
  5. Look! A message from God! ...What are Photos? Charles, either Martinus lied to him, or just gave faulty info - then again, given the nature of their methods, it's equally likely that I may have inadvertantly screamed a false claim before passing out, but I don't know...I don't remember much. And Sergio, steady yourself young man - my passing will not be a sad occasion (So long as I am not burned at the stake - having experienced it last night on a smaller scale, getting burned hurts like hell!), nay, it will be bittersweet - yes, I will be unable to advise you any further, but I will also be in God's arms, as one of his children... And before the deed is done, let me say that I hope that God lets me personally lead the witches in this town to the firey pits of hell, and at the very least that I will watch over this town from here on...I'm afraid I won't be of much use to you all as a corpse or pile of ashes, but it is a reminder of the good times we had, yes? I won't run, and even if I am to be burned at the stake, I will accept it diligently - I'd rather die in a town soon to be free of the horrific infestation of witchcraft than live in one with it. Although, if I am to be lit ablaze, Charles, I'm sure you have a hammer around somewhere - I'd like to ask you, as a friend, to give me a good crack over the head first so that I'll be knocked out for the pain that is surely to follow... ~Bernard
  6. And so the deed is done...My friends, I thank you for finally going off evidence rather than senseless bickering, even if it has cost you all a normal citizen. I'm not a witch, nor a heretic, as I've said before - I guess you'll find that out later tonight, of course, but that's besides the point. What will be the method of my killing, then? Will I be burned at the stake, or perhaps hung? I'd honestly prefer to be hung; then if you're uncertain of my standings you may cremate me if you wish...but when I am finally found innocent I wish for a good Christian burial to be given to me; it is only my last will on this Earth. For now, let us eat, drink, and be merry...to my death! *raises glass* ~Bernard
  7. Martinus, I believe in you - do not worry; once they find that I am innocent...even if you do get voted off; know that you will soon be in a better place. How many votes are needed for majority, 11? If I voted for myself right now, that'd be the end for me, wouldn't it? But I see no urgency in the matter, so I'd much rather someone else do it so that I don't appear to be committing suicide... Meanwhile, I'm going to visit Alexander...we have some things to talk about. *heads to the church to have one last session of worship* ~Bernard
  8. I'd literally kill for the chance to attend a Eurobricks event, but alas, it is not to be, and at the very least for about three years it won't be possible. With school, lack of money, and the fact that I'm from America; I might not ever get to make it to one - heck, I've only even been to a Lego store once, and that was on a trip to Canada - but I enjoy reading the threads about the aftermath! ~Trexxen
  9. Firstly, let me say that, in a non-condescending manner of course, those of you who say that it's hard to build anything else with Bionicle parts are very wrong. The combination of Bionicle and System, whichever is the main element, is an amazing MOC technique. Mind, you probably won't find much use for most Bionicle parts if you're, say, a city MOCist - but honestly, saying that Bionicle parts don't have enough places to be connected to? While for a few parts that even Bionicle fans hate, this is true; for the VAST majority it isn't. If you can't find enough places to connect a Bionicle part to something, with again a few exceptions, you're not really trying hard enough. That being said, I love Bionicle. Not as much as in recent years, as I've re-discovered System; but I love Bionicle. The sets are great, not really the small sets or most of the canister sets (07 was an exception; the Barraki were AMAZING, and the Mahri were too, if slightly less so.) but the "Titans" and "Vehicles" are just amazing. As much as I've shyed away from Bionicle MOCing, and for the record I NEVER buy sets just for the models - I usually buy them just to MOC, but I build the models anyways to pick up on techniques - Axalara T9 is still at the absolute top of my Christmas List this year; and will likely be the only "large" thing I will get, besides a guitar of course =P Not only that, but as Tohst has said much better than I could, Bionicle brought Lego back from the brink of destruction. Even now, with so many great sets coming in 09 from the Pirates and Castle lines that I'll be unable to put much money into Bionicle, the line is strong, one of the "evergreen" lines such as Space, Pirates, Castle, and City; and it is great. Even if you don't like the line, you cannot deny that without it Lego would be in a much worse shape, if any, than they are now. ~Trexxen
  10. I thank you all for finally heeding my words, even if the outcome wasn't exactly as I intended... I can safely say this, though - when you find me to be innocent, don't kill the Inquisitor. Remember, he could be getting bad information... Oh, and if it comes down to it and night's about to end, and I'm still not dead - I might pitch in a vote for myself...It IS the logical action. No hard feelings to any of you; what must be done must be done...soon I will be in Your hands, almighty Lord, and I ask of Thee, do not punish any of these men; they are doing what is right for the town. ~Bernard
  11. Good inquisitor, did you hear what I said earlier? If I were a witch, would I not be trying to get Martinus killed rather than myself? I defended him with my life - and I would still rather I be voted off than he; at least that would show that there is actual evidence for the person killed. I'd rather go out feeling good about my fellow citizens than go out later wishing they had kept our only means of information, faulty or no, alive... ~Bernard
  12. ...The hell? Pardon my french, but, what? That's not how I recall it going, Inquisitor. Either Martinus is giving you bad information, you're paranoid, or I screamed it to get it to stop - I can't say I didn't because I don't remember much, only what I've given so far. I assure you that I am -NOT- a Heretic, a Witch, or any sort of threat to this town. I would gladly offer myself up for being killed solely to clear all doubt that the inquisitor's information is bad, but I feel I can still be of use to the town, so I'm afraid I'm going to have to defend myself. Not with information, but with another idea. Martinus is to investigate Alexander - that way, since we're certain he's not a heretic or a witch (or at least more certain than anyone else at this point, save for the obvious ones that can't be investigated because you can't torture yourself...), we can know for sure. Until then, I bid you all a warning - the Inquisitor's words are wrong, and heeding them will do you no good - an innocent death can be prevented here today if you all heed my words. If you choose to kill me instead, that is fine, but know this - there is no loser in the game of life, only those who die and those who do not. Lord, if You wish it then may You take me unto Yourself, in the name of all that is holy... Amen. ~Bernard Sorry for the quick second speech, but I just saw Cassandra's post above me. Vote Bob The Construction Man/Cassandra. Thank you for revealing yourself - you've placed yourself at the top of my suspects list for that. Did you not hear everything that went on today? Martinus is our only investigator; and even if he gives faulty info sometimes, why would you want him dead? On top of that, that cryptic phrase - He's our only chance at a lead - Of course he is! Why would you vote for Martinus?! I could see you voting for myself, or Charles, or Alexander, or Joan, or anyone else before him - he's the only person other than the inquisitor whose role we are absolutely sure of! *huff...puff...calms down*
  13. Psst, Adam/Philip - Since that comment you made to Bernard seemed to be a little more to Trexxen; I'm playing in character too you know! I actually love it, it adds great attitude to the game - but my CHARACTER doesn't. =P So keep doing it; Bernard'll be ticked but I'll handle it just fine =P ~Trexxnard
  14. Now that I'm finally getting three complete sets (Ah, MOCing, you are a cruel mistress...=P) I'd like to join the Academy. ^.^ ~Trexxen
  15. People. Listen to me - this is my final warning. Not that I can really do much about it, but... END THE CLASS WARFARE. Will it really matter who is noble and who isn't, or who is a woman and who isn't when we're all DEAD? We can argue about who's better than whom after the witches are gone - we have other things to do! Lord help me...if I hear another person tell a peasant to learn their place or say that a noble is only trying to help the other nobles, I will vote for that person on the spot. It's really annoying. ~Bernard
  16. Bullet Run's sold out - just tried to get two... OH, and apparently the Speed Regulator or something is up; no idea on the price though - my mom just told me that she heard that too. ~Trexxen (Did get the tank and Assault Tiger, though, along with a Dwarve's Mine Defender because I need one =P)
  17. Alright, so...this is all tentative, but I may have up to 100 dollars to spend this weekend or soon in general. I don't want to use it on Bricklink; I want recent sets. I'll be going to TRU, and tax can be covered by parents (^.^). I'm mostly interested in Space, Castle, and Pirate MOCing; and though I also like Bionicle, I have tons of parts from that. Any ideas for me? ~Trexxen (Oh, and if this doesn't work this weekend, I'll take advantage of the phone sale instead...actually I may just do that period, but just incase.) EDIT: Jamzee, I'd say that if you plan on buying the Market Square then yes, now is the time to buy some Castle - ALTHOUGH, if you plan on buying any Pirates next year, then you can use those instead and should buy more Star Wars. The Marketplace seems it could go great with the Pirate era too. Squeaker, what themes do you like? If your lego store has it, do the thing where you can take bags that didn't make it into sets and put them into a bucket for $100 (Do stores still do that? I've heard about it many times, but have never even been to a lego store D=) ; otherwise, buy sets in the themes you like - or, if you're into MOCing, hit up the Pick-A-Brick wall.
  18. I simply can't bring myself to vote for Charles yet. I don't have enough evidence against him - he's erratic, yes, but can I blame him? Everyone's story is rapidly fitting into place; why shouldn't he be a little confused? I know I am... Since Martinus and the Inquisitor...you know...I suspect that the inquisitor will clear my name when he returns. If he doesn't, and I am found to be innocent, he loses trust - so obviously he would either clear me or say nothing. Which is good for me. <_< So, here's what I've gotten so far about last night: Bernard - Was captured and tortured by Martinus. (Cleared?) Martinus - Captured and tortured Bernard for the Inquisitor. (Cleared?) Fernando - Received information from Martinus. Alexander - Was attacked in the night. (Half-Cleared - could have been a militiaman doing it) ? Guard - Protected Alexander ---- And the morning... Miguel - Came in late with NO apparent reason - Martinus and Bernard are explained above Sabrina - Oddly worried until Mustafa appears - mind, she could have been scared for him. Cassandra - Seems a little too happy this morning... Hernan and Gustavus - Chatting amongst eachother throughout... Mustafa - Shows up AFTER Sabrina; when they stayed the night together supposedly... ---- All in all, here is what we should do...Feel free to object, or not take my advice, but at least consider it - I know what I'm doing here. Guards - Priority 1 is to protect/watch Martinus tonight. If you all have actions, then one of you should protect Alexander again, and the other should protect either Fernando or Charles. Martinus/Inquisitor - Investigate either Sergio, Alexander, or Charles. Anyone capable of BLOCKING - Block anyone that isn't one of these people (the ones I'm talking to, not the ones I want them to use their actions on; they're mostly fair game) or myself. I have no action; it'd be a waste. Mustafa - lower your damn prices already! Sheesh, I'm already a (*insert unit of currency here*) lower than you on carrots! ~Bernard
  19. Alright, I'll explain the entire thing AGAIN...*yawns after a fairly good rest* Ok, look. Firstly, on the whole "My story is conflicting with Martinus" thing. I wasn't paying enough attention when I heard Martinus talk, and only heard the "I'm the torturer" part, and not the "and I report to the inquisitor." Last night I was tortured by Martinus in the presence as the inquisitor, but because I was being beaten senseless, I didn't notice the fine details and figured that the Inquisitor's night action was to torture me. So when I noted that he had said that he was the torturer, I assumed he was wrong - but then I read the story again, and it actually all adds up. Secondly, yes, I KNOW I shouldn't be saying this, but he's already claimed his role anyways - what point is there for me to keep it secret now? If I chose to "disbelieve" him to save him, he would have been lynched! If I didn't act either way, he'd still be lynched! And if I said he was the person, which is true, then hey - he might die tonight! Either way, Martinus was screwed - can you think of a better alternative? And finally, this entire paragraph is devoted to my friend Charles. I'm not being erratic, I'm actually noticing the facts. If I screw up here again, I've just awakened, but I've noticed something different about you and your wife. Suddenly out of the blue you're both accusing eachother of being a witch, as you said, without any evidence! That's all the evidence I need - it's not MY behavior that is erratic; there's a rhyme to my reason! You go from begging for forgiveness to your old self all the time, mostly when you're on the hotseat - I know you're a noble, but good lord man, nobody changes personality that many times in a day! Explain to me why you feel I'm acting erratic, when so far today you've gone from being certain a dozen people were witches, to arguing with Alexander, to making up and begging for forgiveness again, to a certainty that Martinus was the man to die, to arguing up and down with your dearest wife, to...I don't even know what you're doing now, you have me confused in places I haven't been confused before! [*pant, pant*] Let us wait for the Inquisitor. I'm sure he has more to add to this than I. Oh, and I forgot to mention - the reason he called me a witch is because I (INADVERTANTLY) lied and called him out for being the torturer - I then immediately fixed that mistake, and he admitted he doesn't know what my role was - I'm assuming that's something only the inquisitor gets to know. ~Bernard
  20. I'm about to go lie down for a bit, and hopefully by the time I return the Inquisitor will as well - he can shed more light on this, where it appears that I can't. For now, here's my list of top suspects - only top three, mind. 1. Sergio 2. Charles's Wife (I've heard her called Mary, I've heard her called Joan - whatever) 3. Charles (>_>) ~Bernard
  21. Charles, I only flipped because I misread his claim - I thought he claimed to be the person behind the torturing, not the person reporting to the Inquisitor, whom I know had a hand in it. So, since his story matches what I remember perfectly, I let him off because obviously nobody but myself, him, and the inquisitor knew about it. The extent that most people knew is that I was tortured, presumedly by a citizen trying to get information. I think the only way to go at this point is voting you or your wife...is her name actually Mary or is one of us just forgetful? Now I'm confused...D= ~Bernard
  22. Yes, it is. I knew that The Inquisitor had something to do with it, so I suspected he was the person with that ability at night - turns out that, with Martinus's confession being spot on to what I've noticed, I can kill two (three, if the Inquisitor speaks for me) birds with one stone. This is my key information - I wish I didn't have to say it today. ~Bernard
  23. Alright people, listen, let me clear things up - this is the revelation of sorts. Martinus is not a witch. The Inquisitor is not a witch. Last night I was taken by a masked man, whom I now know is Martinus, to the cellar of a building - I'm not entirely sure which. There I met the Inquisitor, so I assumed that he was the person behind it, and was hiding it because of him - I didn't want HIM to be killed by the witches at night. My post was because I didn't read the second half of Martinus's post; rather, I only saw the part where he claimed to be the torturer. Once I saw that he reported to the inquisitor, I immediately went to fix the situation, and as not editing is one of the ten commandments of our Lord and Savior, I instead opted to say something else, which got fused with my last speech through some fancy technology crap. Martinus is innocent. The Inquisitor is innocent. I am innocent. ~Bernard
  24. Martinus, I apologize for my mistake - I acted quickly without hearing the rest of what you said. I wholly stand by you now, but I ask - why must you lie about me in retaliation? You know what my role is, why would you lie and say I'm a witch? ~Bernard
  25. Hehe...I knew it. See, the thing is, I know exactly who the torturer is. And it's not Martinus. ~Bernard Wait - I can't edit my words, but I missed something on the last page. "I'm the torturer, *something* and then I report to the inquisitor" ...Unvote Martinus/Pickerel. The person I saw, whom I believed to be the torturer, was the Inquisitor himself. ~Bernard
