  1. Just standard black/ dark grey armour. Not muddy unlike the ones in the 2018 Tie Fighter. I didn’t mention Purge Troopers because Lego stupidly refuses to make JFO sets. The gimmicks don’t even end in the 1HY. It’s just weird. The buildable characters just can’t be doing that well.
  2. Just let them get the Trinity out of the way. DC appears to be cooking with Absolute Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter. Can’t wait for absolute Family Guy. No family, no cutaways, no Meg. Along with his ex-military partner Brian, he must defeat Glen Quagmire and redefine what it truly means to be a Family Guy. But I’m even more excited for Absolute Porky Pig and Absolute Kermit
  3. What reasonable trooper types does Lego still need to make? Off the top of my head I can think of: clean Army Trooper, 501st Stormtrooper, Space Trooper, Clone Commando and a Tie Baron. I’m not going to go down the clone legion rabbit hole.
  4. I guess there’ll probably be a new CMF next year. So I’m going to lay out my predictions. 1) Blacksuit Daredevil 2) White Tiger 3) Muse 4) Iron Heart 5) Sunspot 6) Jubilee 7) Cable/ Bishop 8) Spiderman (YFNS) 9) Doctor Strange (YFNS) 10) 1606 Antman 11) Kahhori 12) Marvel Zombies character
  5. I really like the detailing. The red accents look very sharp. Now, back to Jonkling. @Renny The Spaceman, what is Demolition Dummy’s relationship with Jedi Bob? Bob is similar to Dummy for being a meme and fan-favourite Lego original character. However whilst Dummy has the power to destroy anything he touches, Bob has the power to create anything he wants with the force. Are their powers connected? Is Dummy a force-sensitive? If so wouldn’t that mean that Dummy is a Dark Side user? Perhaps he’s something of a Grey Jedi? Or is Bob the evil one? Does Dummy see through the lies of the Jedi?!!
  6. A good number of the warlords in Mando S3 were in agreement with Pellaeon. So Thrawn should have no trouble in recruiting their forces. Plus Thrawn may bring in a few Chiss EDF ships to aid him. Perhaps captained and crewed by his good friends Senior Captain Ziinda, Senior Captain Samakaro, Skywalker Ch’eri, Thalias, Lieutenant Commander Eli Vanto, Skywalker Vah’nya and Admiral Ar’alani? As previously mentioned Thrawn also has Morgan’s stockpile of resources. And since it was revealed in TOTE that she was a producing Tie Defenders, that makes me think that Thrawn will have a decent amount of those wonderful fighters ready to go. There’s also still the question of what happened to the Defender squadron that was already stationed on the Chimera. And what happened to Commodore Faro. I like those ideas. But where does the obligatory Mara Jade fit into all of this? Either way we appear to be in store for some good Lego sets. 2026 will be a good year for Lego. And my empire!!
  7. Apparently this Batman is a construction worker. So does he throw black bricks instead of batarangs? It would be more in line with the symbol.
  8. Impressive. Most impressive.
  9. Earlier today I was thinking that surely there couldn’t be another collector’s set instead of a play-set in the January wave. But then r/legostarwarsleaks had to pull this on me. Another Midi-scale ship is coming. I reckon that it’s either going to be a Ghost or a Imperial Venator (could be in scale with the new ISD)
  10. Yeah I agree. I’d say that getting the right rank plaque is more important than the code cylinders. Especially as that’s what makes most imperial officers recognisable. Not the small little pens that are barely noticeable. It seems to be a no-brainer. Maybe the reason why we haven’t gotten one yet is because Lego got rid of the death trooper mould? Though then again, they do have the assets available to make purge troopers and storm commandos so that might not be it. Fair enough. I guess that the earliest we could see a Tie Defender from is 2026/27, since Thrawn will probably start up production on them again now that he’s back. A Tie Defender vs New Republic A-Wing set with Zeb and Thrawn could double as a Mando-verse and Rebels set therefore enticing two markets at once. Unrelated I know, but does anyone else hope that Eli Vanto, Commodore Karyn Faro and the Chiss Ascendancy will have some roles to play in the upcoming Heir to the Empire movie? I finished reading the canon Thrawn and Thrawn Ascendancy trilogies a few weeks ago (they are phenomenal btw) and want to see them in Live-Action. (It would be funny if at the start of the Heir to the Empire movie Thrawn says: “Imperial Remnant? What a Joke.” And takes his and Pellaeon’s Fleet back with him to the Chiss Ascendancy to fight the Grysks.)
  11. The streets of Billund will run yellow with melted plastic tonight!
  12. I also think a Tie Reaper would be an excellent set. It’s been a while since we had a bad guy assault shuttle from Lego. Make it a special forces orientated set and it would be extremely popular with AFOLs and Kids.
  13. Right. Every year there seems to be at least one Tie Fighter variant in play-scale form (most years anyway) 2015: FO Tie Fighter and Tie Advanced 2016: Tie Advanced x1 and Tie Striker 2017: Tie Silencer 2018: Tie Fighter 2019: Major Vorang’s Tie Interceptor 2020: Tie Dagger 2021: Tie Fighter 2022: No Tie (the one anomaly of the last 10 years) 2023: Tie Bomber and Tie interceptor 2024: Tie Fighter 2025: ? What are your bets? Tie Defender or Vader’s Tie Advanced are the two most likely imo? The Tie Avenger is probably too similar in shape to the Tie interceptor to warrant a set unfortunately.
  14. So judging by what everyone’s been saying, we need a tower of fate set including Mara Jade and a venom horse. Correct? Am I missing anything? I’d highly recommend watching the TV show on BBC or reading the books. They were honestly what really got me into history (the superior subject). It’s the best kind of educational kids show, funny and informative. (Coincidentally much like my later history teacher) If it’s marine biology you want to learn about… I would recommend another british kids show called Octonauts. My younger siblings used to watch it and it’s where the majority of my knowledge of sea creatures comes from. Glup Shitto is a distinguished veteran of the 42nd Butt-scratcher brigade.
  15. @Big_Daddy Yes but there were still play-sets in March. In 2025 there don’t appear to be any. I know I may be overreacting though.
  16. York is a wonderful city. Very nice bakeries and historical architecture there. As well as a most excellent Tabletop gaming shop. Obligatory song. Why is it that whenever a thread becomes an aslume there are british topics involved?! It starts with a “Tower of Fate,” Mara Jade or Venom Horse and then rapidly evolves into something that’s terrifyingly insane. That would actually be an excellent Marvel D2C. And then DC can have a modular Arkham or Daily Planet. (Or Oa!!!)
  17. Venomized Luke’s Landspeeder will release shortly after that. But not before the Venomized Batmobile with Venomized Man and Anti-Venomized Jonkler. Iron Patriot Hulkbuster would slap though.
  18. Why do I feel like there may be less than 10 normal Play-sets next year?
  19. One of the reasons that 2013 was such a great year was because of an entire wave was dedicated to one battle. (IMO at least) I think that Lego should try to do this every 3-5 years. As it’s such a cool concept and a display of how interconnectivity between sets can work brilliantly. I’ve chosen 2 battles that I’d think would work well due to their variety of different vehicles and units. Battle of Jakku New Republic vs Imperial Forces Battlepack (£19.99): NR Sandtrooper (Pantoran), NR Navy Trooper (with satchel), Imperial Shocktrooper and a stormtrooper (tribal markings) Jakku AT ST (£44.99): Iden Versio, Shriv, Agent Hask and a AT ST pilot Phantom Squadron X-Wing (£44.99): Wedge Antilles, Temmin Wexley, Jas Emari and General Borrum Mister Bones’s Plaything (ITT) (£59.99): Mister Bones, Imperial Combat Driver, Stormtrooper Commander, 2 Stormtroopers, a scout trooper (dirtied) and a Shocktrooper. SpecForces U-Wing (£79.99): Jom Barell, 2 SpecForces Commandos, Rebel Pilot and a Damaged Stormtrooper. Imperial Shuttle (£99.99): Norra Wexley, Gallius Rax, Yupe Tashu, Commandant Hux and 2 Stormtroopers (one tribal and one damaged). The Ravager (£149.99): Moff Randd, Commodore Agate, 2 Stormtroopers, Admiral Versio, 2 Imperial Navy Ensigns and an Emperor’s Sentinel. (Includes a mini-build of a Starhawk) 2nd Battle of Geonosis Geonosis Clones Battlepack (£19.99): 2 212th ARF Troopers, 21st Flametrooper and a 21st Desert Trooper. Republic Y-Wing Vs Geonosian Starfighter (£109.99): Obi-Wan Kenobi, P1 Clone Trooper (212th), P1 Clone Pilot, P1 Commander Cody and a Geonosian Warrior. J-1 Proton Canon (£49.99): Commander Jet, Ki-Adi Mundi, Geonosian Warrior, Super Battledroid and 2 Battledroids. Republic Gunship (£139.99): Captain Rex, Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker, P1 Clone Pilot, P1 Clone Trooper and 2 Super battledroids. Republic AV-7 (£49.99): Commander Gree, Luminara Unduli, 41st Clone Trooper, P1 Clone Gunner and a Geonosian Warrior. Separatist Super Tank (£59.99): Bariss Offee, 41st Clone Trooper, Poggle The Lesser, Tactical Droid and 2 Super Battledroids. Anyone else agree with my general idea?
  20. Look at you. What was it I said to you a mere matter of weeks ago when you were adamantly resisting us? Ah yes. “The Aslume comes for us all.” Welcome to the Brotherhood of Jonkling Inmates. Are we going to keep our insanity in the 2025 thread? I feel that we’ve passed the point of no return with our jonkling.
  21. History CMF? A Horrible History CMF?!!!! Black Beard? George Washington? Admiral Nelson?! Henry VIII? Joan of Arc? Caligula? Elizabeth I/ II? Charles II?????!! King Tut? Of course! You’re only on the list because you went dark at the same time of Turtle’s, a confirmed conspirator, Banishment. Exactly!
  22. Hopefully. I need to know if there are any more playsets coming. There’s still hope for the May wave. I am wondering what the May UCS will be and if it truly is the end for dioramas. And perhaps if the murmurings of a 2025 Ewok Village are true, we could see a remake of either the 2011 Endor Battlepack or the Endor Bunker to coincide with it. Andor and Rogue One would like a word. Andor is the only TV show so far that has had an increase in viewership as each episode released. I played the white Kessel Run “MILF”
  23. Fear not my friend. It’s elementary my dear Watson. It is just a list I’m compiling of all those I suspect of being connected to the “Lack of DC sets” conspiracy and more importantly the severe lack of Star Wars Legends sets.
