I've just gotten back into Lego by way of Dimensions and this looks like a must have fun pack, if only for the new Unikitty head print. Can't go wrong with more Unikitty.

Yeah I'm with the other bootleg folks in saying that JLB aren't the best, especially here, but they're cheap enough to where even if they are crap, you didn't invest a ton in them to be angry.

Either Thor or Cap's scene is my favorite, if for the creative ways of dispatching Ultron's drones. Quicksilver's trailing is great too! Awesome work all around.

I've seen this guy on eBay. Someone else did a custom Carnage with 3D printed symbiotic structures. You could mix this with Lego's Sandman and you got yourself a perfect figure.

My SY Avengers sets have shipped according to AE, so I should expect them soon. That said, it's waiting game time.

I kind of want him to have a mischievous look, kind of like the Sandman in the Lego Marvel game, and the elf head doesn't cut it for me. Aside from that, he's a great figure, but Ultron, Carnage, and Ant Man are my picks.

I personally love Ultron Prime, though my only mod would be adding the headpiece from the Ultron Sentry to give him a similar look to Ultimate Ultron and he feels a little more complete IMO. That being said, Ant Man is great too, and Carnage is a must have. His set I actually plan to get some multiples of. The new Spider Men are great too and Sandman kind of grew on me, though his head doesn't work for me (I'll use Han Solo as a replacement head) To sum it up, Ultron Prime, Ant Man, and Carnage are my top picks.

Bane looks better than I thought. I might have to give that set a try. The gun's a nice bonus too.

Yeah they're lacking some of Decool's trademarks, so to speak. Looks like a pass if it is their new one.

They look pretty nice. Honestly Bane's mask looks a little big for my taste, and Bizarro's emblem should be reversed, but other than that, these are great.

Went ahead and ordered the SY AoU sets. It'd be cheaper than buying the figs I want piecemeal on eBay (Vision, Black Widow, Maria Hill) and I can use the other figs for customs. I'll report back when they come in.

I remember this very thread was in the customs forum, but got moved here, so any bootleg customs would have to stay here. However, I don't see any harm in making your own thread, since I recall seeing a bootleg Ultron head used in a custom outside of the thread.

I actually don't mind the brick-built Groot, even if he is out of scale.

I'll echo the sentiment about Galaxy Squad. The Hive Crawler is one of the best sets I ever put together if for the crawling motion alone. I think Star Wars, as a theme, needs a bit more variety instead of just ships. As much as I loved Lego Movie, they kind of dropped the ball with a good half of the sets only being the 2-in-1 vehicles, which while they're cool, I would have loved some more movie-centric sets.

You know, I'm kind of convinced to get the SY Dr. Strange set now, seeing how it looks compared to a custom that costs dollars more. The face I've grown to love on the SY, while the custom looks more like a traditional knockoff

This. I thought the SDCC '66 Batmobile was a little compact for my tastes. If Lego doesn't make one, I'm sure SY could do a good job. Just copy the Lego Batman 3 design (Which for my money looks like a better model)

Superman's hair is something they never could get right, but the Sleepyhead hair they've done well before. My SY Human Torch's hair is spot on, but even then, the CMF 7 tennis player's hair could work if you don't like it.

Yeah Strange is perfect aside from his face. I'd get him in a heart beat if I knew a good alternate. I like the League of Legends idea, but I don't have much interest in that set (Never was big on LoL to be honest)

The SY Ultron set looks pretty nice actually. The only fails I see are Hawkeye and maybe Iron Man, but Black Widow is perfect except the hair, Thor's great, Cap is flawless, Ultron is an interesting take, and I prefer this Hulk to the official one. Two fails out of 7 figs isn't bad in the slightest, and Hawkeye and Iron Man are easy to get officially anyway.

Seeing things from your point of view, I kind of feel a little dirty now for some things I may have said before. TBH, I kind of thought your style was kind of fun, and now that you have BrickTitan along for the ride, you know what they say about two heads being better than one. To make a long story short, I apologize if I said some unsavory things about the Slave Leia video or anything. There's an old adage I can't believe I didn't utilize about "If you think you can do better, do it" but then I realized a 22 year old fat dude in a Slave Leia cosplay would frankly give anyone nightmares. xD You're OK in my book. Don't sweat a thing! ;)

I'm a little conflicted on the new SY set. While I'd love Batzarro and Dr. Strange (Even with a few mods for the head), I'm not feeling that Wonder Woman. This might be a pick-and-choose wave for me, given my policy on bootlegs

Alright. Like I said, I saw one unit on eBay and found it here and was curious if anyone had it yet like the other AoU series (Which I might pick up, at least for Fury or Widow)

You may be right. I was judging by the helmet that it might be inspired by DoFP. It has that kind of deep red/crusty look.

The new SY sets are looking great, and I guess you could say I'm officially a fan of them, as my Fantastic 4 came today and they're a lot better than I was expecting. I'll have to fix the boot printing on some of them, but The Thing grew on me. But back to the new sets, looks like we get a DoFP Magneto
