  1. Time for another funnie! This time featuring a small cast of characters from various action themes, not just Chima (As I don't have any Chimas yet) If you know your TV Tropes, this one should hit you immediately. P.S. the guy in the green sweater is supposed to be the counselor. Just a generic guy.
  2. As much as it is tempting to get a hold of a golden minifig, I can only see it's use being for resale, or display only. If anything, the other minifigs in series 10 tickle my fancy much more (Like the clown or biker, for instance). If I come across one (Fat chance), I'll be as giddy as a schoolgirl who won a trip to a Justin Bieber show, but I don't see how useful it'd be, but I guess I won't know until I see a pic.
  3. Oh, my mistake. It just looked a little strange how his suit is untouched while the bride's is tattered. Plus she has that little waistband the regular bride didn't have, but now I'm just splitting hairs.
  4. I'm flattered! But I agree, the zombie groom torso would have looked just as good, if not better than the regular groom torso (It may just be me, but anyone else think the zombie groom torso looks like a decrepit version of the groom/CMF 1 magician torso? The main elements are there like the bow tie)
  5. Nicely done! The latter makes me think of one of those Adventurers cars of the 90s (Mainly because that tan chassis).
  6. Excellent entry! I particularly like the microbuilds like the dummy in the upstairs room with the granny, the fountain (Nice use of the frog as the faucet); it looks like an official set! You even incorporated the light brick. Though my personal favorite piece is the truck. The building is nice and has a nice homey look, but the truck's the icing on the cake. Good luck in the contest!
  7. Excellent pics, Oky! Same to you, Lupin. That's a phenomenal piece of work, if a little morbid (Not that I'm complaining) And speaking of groaners, here's another one: IT workers: If a vampire and a horde of zombies can survive the sun and you can't, there's a problem.
  8. And I've mainly done Monster Fighter funnies (Though the mummy Gangnam Style had the Anubis minifigs from Pharaoh's Quest). I have one idea, but I need a Chima minifig to make it work. (I have a few of the ninjas)
  9. Nah, no one's used any of the Adventurers or Agents yet. Plus crossovers with other themes are perfectly acceptable.
  10. Great minds think alike, my friend. Nice MOC to a great track. I may have to do something inspired by Ride the Lightning now.
  11. Simple, but I like it. I happen to be a big Metallica fan (Well, their 80s stuff) and I think you did the song justice with this vignette.
  12. TBH, I am not the biggest fan of the new Spider Man cartoon (Give me the 60s or 90s cartoons or even the Toby MacGuire films), but I have to admit, that car is worth the price of admission alone. The hidden flick-fire, though unimpressive to some, is a lot better than, say, the S.H.I.E.L.D. truck from Cosmic Cube Escape having two flick-fires sticking out of the sides. The minifigs look stunning, as usual (Especially Venom). Spidey's bike is awesome too, but I still love the car a bit more (Mainly because I don't particularly like oversized bikes like what we got in some Batman sets).
  13. Agreed. IIRC, the Podracer bucket from 1999 had one of the underwater theme heads for Aldar Beedo. I know Lego was just starting out with Star Wars and at the time they didn't always dabble with ultra-detailed pieces, but the use of that particular head is rather baffling.
  14. Aww, that was Fozzie Bear material, CM4S. I love it!
  15. Yeah, guys, sterling job so far! I'd post more, but it's a combination of laziness/procrastination and school seeping into my free time.
  16. I guess I got lucky with a glowing sticker. Mine works like a charm.
  17. I bought this set on clearance at Wally World a week or two ago, and I love it more than I thought I would. Incidentally, my sticker does indeed glow, just not that brightly. Still, downsides aside, I love this set. It's a lovely display piece and I am in love with the front details (The bones on the engine is the icing on the cake). I don't see why LV didn't have his cape, though. I know it might hinder his play feature, but it would have been nice to have all the same.
  18. Finally, Eurobricks' own Joker has arrived, and he doesn't disappoint in his debut! Welcome to the thread, my friend!
  19. Nice combination of parts for that orc, Artanis! Love the graveyard pic as well.
  20. Nice use of the Cyclops head, Artanis! Sorry I haven't been around, guys, I've been doing some motion graphics work for another website, and it's been eating my time.
  21. Nice ones, everybody! I have a few more on the way, so keep your eyes peeled.
  22. Time for some funny business
  23. Pics aren't loading for me. Refreshing to see some Atlantis and Ninjago stuff instead of just Monsters and Chima (Not that they aren't any good, the Insanity Wolf Chimas were hilarious)
  24. Thanks a million, guys! However I don't want to be the only one doing funnies here(Especially since all of mine are Monster Fighters related while some of you did Ninjago and Chima stuff)
  25. Okay, love the meteor effects, though the animation and camera was a tiny bit jerky at times, namely the running shot. Otherwise, not bad.
