  1. Diesel is still rocking and ready to go. With his motorbike. I think it was a motorbike.
  2. Nothing says Christmas more than a slap with a fish. Merry Christmas everyone!
  3. Generally, if a game proposal is well presented and gives me confidence that the game will be fun and enjoyable for people to play, I will approve it. Pandora and Rufus presented a fresh, new idea that sounds really exciting and fun. A vague idea for a SW game with no pictures does not really grab my attention. I should also note that I get a request to host a SW themed game at least once every couple of months. I also like to look for some commitment from hosts. Considering you haven't volunteered for a game since April Sok, I assumed you must have lost interest. If you read the requirements for hosting that are clearly stated in the Mafia index, then you can see where I am coming from. Hopefully that clears up any concerns you had.
  4. Name: Mafia School: Cirque du Freak Host: Badboytje88 Dates: October - November 2011 Survivors: Darkdragon, K-nut, Bricksandparts, Nightshroud99 (Town) Game information Welcome ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls to Cirque du Freak. The circus has always been very famous, one of the best in the world. People came from all across the land to see the clowns perform their jokes, watch the incredible strong man in awe or shed a tear at the performance of the lovely horse breaker. One of the amazing acts was that of Houdini Jr. He learned everything there was to know about escapology from his uncle the great Houdini. He was one of the stars of the circus, a friendly and helpful person, until one unfortunate day when he was practicing his bucket of acid stunt. He was chained to a contraption on which stood a bucket of acid, which would tilt over if he made a sudden move. For some reason, which remains unknown till this day, his stunt failed and the bucket of acid fell over Houdini. He wasn’t killed at once, he still had enough strength to say his last words while the flesh fell off his bones. He blamed the circus and it’s artists. Someone must have tampered with the mechanism of his trick otherwise this wouldn’t have happened. Someone who knows everything there is to know about the circus. Someone who wants to ruin it. Someone on the inside… Then he passed away due to the severity of his injuries. After a day or so Madam Mitsie, the owner of the circus, called all the artists together to inform them. ‘Dear friends and family. I've checked Mr Houdini's equipment and it turned out he was right. There has been tampered with his act resulting in his death. I am afraid that the killer is still among us. Therefore the police informed me that it is my duty to tell you all you can't leave the circus until it has been discovered who can be held responsible for this awful deed. 6. Pushy, let me just fetch my whip.
  7. This has been discussed and rejected already, so no need to discuss further here. Thanks.
  8. Glad to see excitement is building for this game! I'm going to be taking a break for a little bit to catch up on a few things, so good luck to you all and I ook forward to seeing how the game progresses! Thank you to ADHO15 and ThePenguin for putting this together for our enjoyment.
  9. Dragonator looks around. Everyone finished partying without me? So I just finished my last exam and thought I'd drop by and say a couple of things. Yay for freedom! Hinck, gotta say it took some balls to even attempt a game of this complexity, you did a fantastic job trying out the concept and I sure had fun. The story telling was humorous and crude as always, and you were on the whole extremely responsive and helpful as a host. This was a tough concept, I'd discussed co-hosting an all scum mafia game with Quarry about 2 years ago, but we just couldn't come up with a way to do it that actually worked! Overall, I think this game did work. Yes it had a few rough spots, and was a bit too random for my taste, but it was fun and almost everyone died, so that's a success in my eyes. Personally, I'm not a big fan of changing mechanics part way through the game. That was probably my one major dislike of this set up, that some of the actions actually turned into different ones. That sort of thing can change the balance drastically, and cannot be planned for. I guess I just found a bit strange because it is a pretty major deviation from the traditional Mafia game set up. Still, it was worth testing I think, just to see how well it would work. Can't know until you've tried it after all. My team was really great to work with, and they didn't get too concerned with my mid-exam grumpy mood which I am thankful for! Thanks for being so supportive guys, we gave it our best shot and almost made it. I think after all this excitement I'm going to be taking a short break, just to catch up on some indexing and develop a few concepts. I've played every game since I hosted Mystery Castle back in 2008, it's about time for a break! Looking forward to a slightly more traditional game sometime soon!
  10. Thanks for the invitation to this little experiment Hinck, it has certainly been interesting. Looking forward to seeing the outcome.
  11. No worries Hinck, take your time.
  12. Seems like a good plan to me. Vote: Saproton Veeck (Sandy)
  13. I dunno, I think you look like an excellent candidate.
  14. I think a vote for Rirsol is an excellent idea. Seems to me if any of us want to survive, we should be taking out the people who are hogging all the kill actions, namely the Saturn gang. Let's deal with them first I say. Vote: Rirsol Maasym (Rick)
  15. If you're going to be that picky, I could come up with an easy 50 roles that haven't been used in EB Mafia before. I believe Alopex was just intending to outline basic roles here.
  16. Well, that sure is a hilarious turn of events. After all the sneaking around, he ends up being killed by his target. Ah well... So, on to the order of business. I think we're all pretty much up with the current situation. While I'd prefer to stop the killing if we can, I think the most dangerous people we need to take out are those with night kill abilities, and as Shadowghost made it clear that his team not only has 2 shivs but also the poison action, that would be a good place to start, in my view at least. Alternatively, we could all turn on the one Neutral party here. We have a few options to explore at least.
  17. Normally there would be, but this game was prepared fairly quickly so there wasn't enough time. Thank you for your concern though.
  18. Heroica is the current role-play game, yes. It is a slightly more structured, quest oriented game, as opposed to the EBRP which was more of an open format story. The EBRP is not currently active.
  19. Umm, I thought I made it pretty clear that I made that up, moron. It's an example of how much you can trust anyone's word in this game of life. "Oh, I got an investigation result on that guy, let's kill him so I look all innocent tomorrow". Nice try Shadowghost, but this meat-shield is going to come back to bite you sir, I can assure you.
  20. You know, I dislike going with the obvious. And I can't help but think that this is all a little too easy. Two scum dead already? Another found by investigation today? Why do I think our delightful prision guards are messing with our minds? I think Shadowghost knows what I'm getting at here and is using that to try and get rid of any opposition he may have. I feel pretty damn confident that if we were to vote him out instead, he would turn up scum. Especially considering I also got an investigation action last night and used it on him, and found him to be scum. See how easy that is to say? And you all follow so blindly... I'm going to Vote: Shadowghost the Sturch (Shadows). I'm hoping that some of you at least will realise the stupidity of blindly following supposed investigations day after day, and actually try thinking for yourselves. Seriously, if I was on the scum team I would have killed whoever it was that came out with the investigation action yesterday and get rid of it for good.
  21. All scum so far huh? What a pleasant surprise, yet I can't help but find it somewhat suspicious... You're pointing fingers at me now? Is this because of that Nigeria thing? Because I can assure you, there is money there waiting to be claimed!
  22. Nicely done Tierro. with that evidence, I think we can definitely feel confident in voting for Jissaleh. Vote: Jissaleh Blazen (JimButcher)
  23. I'm hungry. All I want is some damn food. What the hell is up with the damn kitchen staff these days anyway?
  24. Yo, I'm Drakius. 'Nough said. You want to claim your inheritance from the Nigerian royal family? Gimme something sweet and I'll hook you up.
  25. Too bad you can't keep it up for long.
