You'll all be glad to know that the meeting has finally started. Allis going fine so far, but it is clear that some people are still hiding things (why are you staring at me? ), and not everyone is who they appear to be. Will this meeting finish as it is intended too? *Insert dramatic music*

M10 Dromindur; The Ravine Dragonator stood up in front of the assembled people and looked around. Everyone had arrived and were in their seats, arranged in a semi-circle. He could see Aluvar, as well as Lord Calvin and Karen, although he did note the absence of Alyss, but that was understandable. Marcus was seated at the right of his own chair, which was in the centre of the semi-circle, with various representatives from the other four kingdoms on either side. On the far left were the two men from Morcia, both of whom were still wearing their large cloaks that covered most of their bodies. After having to travel along the border with Ankoria to get to the meeting, it was understandable that they should be weary, yet still, there was something not quite right about them. On their right were Lord Calvin and Karen from the Black Knights. On the other side of the two centre chairs, the two Black Falcon representatives were seated, with Aluvar being the only Crown kingdom representative on the far right. It was time to begin. Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to thank you all for coming. It is a hard time for us all, but I hope that this meeting will be able to begin our hopes for a better future. Dragonator scanned the seated people, who were listening intently. Our kingdoms are not what they once were. Long ago, when we were united as one single kingdom, we were the strongest force in the whole of the known world. That age is long past however, and some of the states of that once great kingdom are now our enemies, while we few still remain. We are the representatives of the last five kingdoms that are still dedicated to the old alliance. It has been over one hundred years since we stood as one united force against the coming of evil, and now times are changing and we once again need to be strong. You have been called here to re-affirm your place in the alliance, on behalf of your kingdoms. Our forces are not what they once were. The Crown Kingdom is under attack already from the undead, while my own kingdom may soon have to deal with the scum from Ankoria. Some of you may think that these battles do not concern you, but if even one of our kingdoms were to fall, then we would all fall. Sighing, Dragonator leaned forward. I have also heard reports of sightings of Black Wraith Demons, appearing even more boldly than they once did. It is clear that a great evil is beginning to rise, and we must find a way to fight it before it is to late. How would you know about Black Wraith Demons and how they act? I do not believe your words that these things even exist. This interruption came from one of the hooded Morcia representatives. Dragonator turned to look at him. I would have thought that someone from your kingdom would know more of these things. Aluvar has himself declared that he has seen these Demons, and he was there over one hundred years ago when this first happened. Let me assure you that these Demons are not something to shrug off lightly. They are vicious and hard to defeat. It takes special training to be able to even hurt one. But how would you know- Excuse me, but I must speak now. I am Gremoth from the Black Falcons, and I want a question answered. You talk of our commitment to this alliance, but what of your kingdom? Your king can't even carry out his responsibilities to his own people, so how does he plan to commit to this? Dragonator stared levelly at Gremoth. My king will be... handing over certain responsibilities to other people to deal with, including the running of our military forces. He will not hinder this alliance. I have worked to hard for it. That is as I thought. What you speak of is very dangerous, if not outright treason to your kingdom is it not? Can we trust you? Raising his eyebrows at the Morcia man, Dragonator replied, I thought I had already explained all this to you in a letter, or do you forget so easily. What we are all doing here is somewhat dangerous. If the wrong people were to here of it then we could all be in severe danger. Hard times call for hard measures, and some things just need to be dealt with. I would appreciate it if you would leave my kingdoms' concerns to me. Dragonator turned back to the rest of the group. The rest of you should already know of these things, as this has been in planing for months now. It seems that Morcia is a little slow in this regard. But we need their help as much as the rest of yours. The Crown Kingdom I understand is in desperate need of troops to help battle the continuous attacks by the undead. I myself will need the help of some men when it come time for us to battle against Ankoria. I for one would like a fuller explanation of the situation at the moment in the Crown Kingdom, before I commit any men to this battle. That is fair enough. Aluvar, would you like to add anything at this point?
-
M10 Dromindur; The Ravine Black Wraith Demons you say? That is not a good sign, not at all. Ah good old Aluvar, always lending a helping hand when it's needed. I can tell you, he is good in a tight spot. But enough about that, let us see this letter. Dragonator broke the seal and opened the letter. After a few moments of reading he sat back, looking thoughtful. This is very interesting news. It looks like Pent has sent you to be your kingdoms representative here. I hope you know how to keep your mouth shut, as this is very important stuff. But if Pent trusts you to come, then I too will accept it. There is one other matter in here that I must discuss with you later. For now, let us go back downstairs, we do not want to draw suspicion on ourselves by being late, do we? With that they all stood and left the room, with Dragonator locking the door behind him, and proceed back downstairs.

WhiteFang, does the letter Lord Calvin has just given to me contain anything else I should take note of? I am presuming it says that I can tell Lord Calvin of its content, but if not then please let me know. Also, does the letter explain why Master Pent wants the stone? Lord Dragonator does not give things away without a reason. If it is something that you don't want to reveal just yet, then you can always let me know by PM. To everyone else, the meeting is about to start, sorry to keep you all waiting so long.

In a shameless act of double posting, I have found a great picture that shows an awesome use of the brown weapons. Looks like they could come in handy after all. Isn't that just great? The moral of this story is: don't be too quick to judge.

While iamded was staying a few weeks ago, we had planned on posting a few things. This is one we didn't get round to doing. It is a follow on from the BrickArms Galore! review that we did, and showcases some of the BrickArms weapons in some small scenes. We got most of the captions sorted and the first two pictures taken, bu then ran out of time. I did not want to see this go to the dogs however, so I have finished our work, and here it is in all its glory! BrickArms, helping you win your wars. No Joe, the non-lethal ones! They replaced us with these? BrickArms, taking things one step further. Merry Christmas from BrickArms. BrickArms, four times the fun! Back with a vengeance. BrickArms makes anything look better. And now for the final scene, a special vig requested by a member of this very forum! BrickArms, helping you get back at annoying-attention-seeking-people. I love that scene, how about another shot. Thanks for looking everyone, hope you enjoyed these unofficial (and I stress unofficial, I don't feel like another lawsuit after the last topic ) BrickArms promotional scenes. Unofficial Promotion ON! -ator

M10 Dromindur; The Ravine Dragonator closed the door to his room, and turned to his guests. Please, take a seat. They all sat down and then Dragonator leaned forward. Now tell me, what does Pent have to say? L7 Dragons Keep; Majiko's Tower Grim and Adym had been climbing the stairs for a while now, and were getting very tired. We really need to find a better way than climbing stairs to get up there. Why does he have to live in the top of a tower anyway? Well he gets a good view. Fair enough. We're almost there. Rounding a curve in the stairs, the pair came to a large wooden door, at which Grim knocked politely. Majiko, are you there? Hmmm, no reply, perhaps we should go- hey, what are you doing!? At that moment, Adym charged the door, and swung his metal arm at it, smashing a sizeable hole in the lock. The door creaked open to reveal Majiko tied up on the floor, gagged. Majiko, what happened? Mfff, mf, mffghf! Oh, right... Grim bent down and untied the wizard. Thank you for freeing me, I was starting to get some bad cramp in my ar- Yes, yes, that is fine, but we don't need to know, really. I was going to say arm. Oh... Why did you not simply free yourself? My powers are blocked, an evil wizard is in the castle from Ankoria, and he has cast a spell over the whole castle stopping any magical activity. I am powerless. But what is that racket out side? That's what we want to know... The trio went over to the window and threw the shutters open, only to have a stray arrow pass through the wizards hat. Damn it, I only just got that patched up yesterday! Looking out the window, they were greeted by an unpleasant site. Scorpion Knights were swarming through the streets up to the castle, and the few city guards who were out there were heavily out numbered. Even as they were looking the last gong went quiet as it's ringer was thrown over the side of a watch-tower. The city is taken... How could this happen? Well, it looks like the Scorpion Knights sprung a surprise attack and- It was a rhetorical question. It is too dangerous for us to stay in the castle, we will surely be killed. Scorpia is responsible for this, he is the traitor. You think so, do you? We must leave as quickly and quietly as possible. Does anyone know a secret way out. Surely you do, Grim? Well if we hurry we could make it out one of the side doors, but otherwise they will be guarded. And then we would have to get through the walls again. What about through my workroom? That's deep in the castle, how would that help us? There is a pair of long-unused service doors in there, remember? They go out the back of the castle. After that we just have to go through the rear gates that so far will not be taken. An excellent idea, let us go, quickly now. The trio rushed out of the tower, heading for Adym's workroom once again.

Thanks Sinner, glad you like it! I'm going to keep it together as long as possible, but sadly it will have to be taken apart some time soon so I can build something new, as I don't have an extensive supply of parts (other than bricklink, and what with the exchange rate dropping a bit more here, it makes it even more expensive to buy ). I've still got the second scene to set up and photograph, and then we'll see. It will probably be lovingly torn-down at the end of the month...

Why you dirty little... Let me at him! He will suffer for this! (OOC: That was hilariously unexpected. ) So, your saying your not going to vote for another innocent man, is that it? Well that's fine, beavo to you, so vote for Hinckley instead! We allready know he is not at all innocent, he said so himself, so unless you are part of his gang, then I expect you would be voting for him right now. Vote count: Hinckley: 6 Wouwie13: 1

I just remembered somethingwhen I saw this thread again. Around Christmas I was out shopping round NZ (as you do ) and came across a whole pile of the 2064 Doctor's Plane Sets on the shelves at the Warehouse. How weird, I thought, as I was sure these were promos and to appear in NZ of all places was beyond me. I of course picked up a couple, but at the time I had forgotten about this thread, so sorry I don't have any available. I saw them two other times at different places on that trip as well, so it definitely wasn't just a freak shipped box to one store. Just something interesting I thought you might like to know. The moral of this story: don't give up hope, there is a million to one chance that promos might show up in a store near you some time. And if I see them again, I will try to pick up a couple for anyone interested. EDIT: Oh yes, and Sinner you can add me to the have list, I just don't have any to sell.

POLL: vote for your favourite hotrod now!
Dragonator replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in LEGO Town
Yay, voting! All of these entries are fantastic! Ones of pasrticular note to me are Lego Monster's cools creation, the colours on that are amazing and have been applied really well. Also SirNadroj for his awesome Fabuland style car, a real classic. My vote has to go to Captain green hair, despite him being the host, as that Snotrod is just amazing. I can't find anything to complain about, it is just totally awesome! So nice job to you. -
Thanks for commenting, I was hoping you would. I'm glad you like it, it certainly is very different to when you first saw it (as a note to everyone else, the only thing actually built was the tower and some of the rock wall). I'm glad everyone likes the tan colour scheme, I had a lot of trouble trying to find a colour that would look nice. Glad to hear that it has gone down well. Great, I can't wait to see what you come up with! That is the great thing about this community, it helps us to spend our money! Thanks TinyPiesRUs, glad you enjoy it. You've caught on to the upper-class theme, and yes that was what I had in mind so I'm glad you noticed. The minifig placement took me almost an hour to do, so I'm glad you think it looks good. I really need to get some 1x2 modified tiles with the single studs so that I can actually attach them. Oh yes, there is a reason they're cut off. You see, the crownies are in control of the tower, while the trolls/orcs attacked from the tavern side of the bridge (they had entered the city from another place). A couple of headstrong men charged out of the tower to battle the trolls on the bridge, who promptly went past them and tried to get through the open doors. The crown soldiers now found themselves surrounded by trolls. Meanwhile, re-enforcements were arriving from the other end of town, so now there were crownies on both sides of the trolls too. Battles can be so confusing. Is that explaination enough for you? As a note to everyone, I am going to start setting up and taking pictures of the set-up for the EB RP scene this features in. I will post a couple of pics in this thread and a link to the gallery, but I would suggest you all go over and read the accompanying story if you have the time. -ator

Here here my good friend, I concur. This man is obviously evil, he has committed violence, murder, adultery and high treason, and for this should be crucified. Let him be sentenced for this! Vote: Hinckley Now, on to more important matters, what's for breakfast, all those festivities last night have left me starving!

Laughter of Dreams: Slapstick Nannanesque MOC
Dragonator replied to SirNadroj's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Nice work Sir, this is great, and is reminiscent of the real thing (which is fantastic by the way ) I know what this is, this is the big one under construction! Well that's what I think, as there's a crane... Hope that dude gets out of the way, that string looks very flimsy. Then again it would be funny if he didn't. Those guys have eyes! They look almost creepier than the other ones! Although there is something a bit weird about being watched by someone with no eyes (or face for that matter... ) I'm starting to ramble, so I'll just say once again, great job! -
Ah yes, thanks for reminding me, I'm pretty sure I do! Thanks for the comments, glad you like it. As a note on the bricks, I used up every dark grey large brick I had, including those that came in a certain bricklink order, plus a large quantity of my light grey, and I was limited on other bricks. So yes, must keep buying bricks! I think I have an addiction problem... Thanks so much for suggesting me to them, I am a very happy Dragonator right now. I'm going to go start planning my next one now! (although that might take some time )

All the impulse sets, as well as the new castle sets are available in New Zealand. And here I was thinking we were always the last country in the world to get sets... Go NZ!

Happy Birthday mate! Hope you have a great one, and get lots of Lego! Eat cake and be merry, my Rotovegas friend!

M10 Dromindur; The Ravine Dragonator studied Lord Calvin critically. Yes I can believe that. I haven't talked with Pent in a while, not since... well anyway, I am sure what he has to say is important, so we will go upstairs very quickly to see what it is, and then I want to get this meeting started, as it is already running late! Marcus! Yes my Lord Dragonator? Call all the representatives in here, and have anyone else who is not directely involved out, including any servants. What is to be said here is not to be heard by the wrong ears. I will not be long, i just need to go up stairs to talk with this fine couple. I shall get to it at once. Dragonator walked up the stairs with Lord Calvin and Karen in tow, their departure not going unnoticed. Right then I better get to it. Men, please kindly inform the customers that it is closing time. And you two, run and find the other representatives. I will be here finishing this Ale if anyone needs me. Meanwhile... L7 Dragons Keep Grim looked at his Adym in amazement. Now that's something you wouldn't see everyday. Thanks for knocking those guards out cold, I cannot believe Scorpia did that to me. He has been being very forward recently but that took it to far. It is assult, treason even... Oh my God... Grim stops in his tracks, with Adym standing next him. Faintly they can hear the sound of a number of Alarm gongs penetrating the walls of the castle. The city is under attack! It must be those dirty fighters from Ankoria. Lord Dragonator suspected that something like this could happen, but not so soon. Some one must be a traitor, and I have a fair idea who... Won't the city guards be retaliating? They won't know what to do, none of the generals are here, and a large portion of the city guards left with them on their... mission. The city is vunerable. Lord Dragonator is going to have my head for this. You've got more than that to worry about at the moment, I hear footsteps approaching! Quick, we will take the servants stairs up to Majiko's tower, we'll get a good view from their, and hopefully he can do something about this mess. The pair rushed off up the stairs. Meanwhile... Ragnir's Accommodation What?!! Ragnir roared loudly at the messenger, and shot a burst of flame into the air. How dare that rotten scoundrel! I'm so s-s-sorry great one- As you should be! You deliver the messages of a thief, a lying deceitful baby stealer! The messenger, faced by the full fury of a male dragon, turned and ran for his life. That Scorpia dares to threaten me with his insolent actions? And how could he take Baby Nizbit! Blazewing certainly wont be happy with me for letting him out of my site. Ragnir turned to face the window. What am I to do? I can't contact Dragonator, Scorpia has Nizbet as a hostage and will kill him if I step out of this room, and by the noise out there it sounds like something bad is happening. Something foul is definitely afoot here. Perhaps I'll have a nap...

Suggestions for future Themed Months
Dragonator replied to The Rancor's topic in Forum Information and Help
In that case I would say best bets are WW or Star Wars. Yay, go July, bet month of the year! -
Happy Birthday Exo-buddy! Hope you have a great one, and get lots of Lego and/or cash tp spend on Lego. Eat cake and be merry!

Thanks Batbrick, but your embarrassing me. Thank you so much for your complements, they mean a lot to me. One thing though, do NOT call you IA crummy, I enjoy looking and commenting on them! I can't wait to see this vehicle as well. Glad you like the minifig placement, that took me over an hour to get them in the right places and all standing up! I would have like t have some better positions with some of them, but I had no studs to attach them to! (for some reason I don't seem to have hardly any 1x2 tiles with a stud in the middle in dark bley ) One of the trolls fell over during photography and is in a slightly different position in one or two of the photos, I'll give whoever can tell me which one it is a... cookie or something.

That is a great creation, thanks for showing it! I love the combination of all the different styles, Fabuland, Black Fantasy, Post-Apoc etc, it just looks awesome and... twisted in a good sort of way. You just have to love the frog. Thanks also for the link, I've never been on that site before. I clicky on over there and find my own creation staring at me! That was an unexpected yet pleasant surprise. I need to go thank Exobuilder now... Back on topic, I like the arrow in the road, it is a nice detail that would probably be hard to pull off. And the machines are great, they look very real with lots of flexibility.

Ah yes, thanks for the explanation, I'm a little slow sometimes. I tried doing a couple of different windows mainly because I wanted to see how different arrangements worked, for example the thin windows, the horizontal fence pieces and the vertical ones, and the 'normal' windows. But I do agree that on a real building they would be consistent. Thanks for that, it is appreciated! Thank you for the comment Highlandcattle. I'm not what you would call an 'expert' on these things, so sorry if some things don't quite make realistic sense. I'll keep that in mind for the future though, I do like to get things right. And I certainly don't want my Inn to fall apart! I like the lady too, she is a very nice woman when you get to know her. Just don't let her heare you say that... Thanks Asuka, I always appreciate your comments. I've been looking at the pillars too and wondering how I might improve them. Perhaps if I were to slope the bases out? Ah yes, the black slopes, I've been waiting for someone to comment on that. Those are from King's Castle Siege, unfortunately I didn't have many at the time and so used the ones that were handy when building the bridge (which funnily enough I built before the rock wall ). Of course I have since recieved 50 in a bricklink order, so perhaps I will change them to light grey. Thanks for the complements WhiteFang, it's always nice to see what another fellow castle fan thinks. I still need to build Lord Calvin actually, I'll get on to that... Again thank you to everyone who has commented, I appreciate your feedback and will take your advice into consideration for my next project. What would I do without EB?
-
Thanks everyone for your great comments! Thanks BlueBard, I like the old lady too, she has a very unique character. She's the sort of person who will look Death in the face and ask him if he's brushed his teeth. Thanks to you as well, I enjoy criticism (does that sound weird ), as it gives me a chance to see what others would like. I'm not sure if I've pulled off the studless effect quite so well as many others. If you look down on the opposite bank I did try some studded landscaping, but I didn't have enough bricks to do both sides. Perhaps in another MOC I will try that. As I said, it is a learning experience for me! Thanks for your great in-depth comment Hinckley! Nice to see what you liked and disliked. I used the fence pieces in the windows because I didn't have any more actual window parts, and so was looking for some other way to do it, when it occurred to me that the fences looked quite similar to real windows anyway. I'm not quite sure what you meant be continuity, do you mean distractions from the main building or the 'cut-off' line around the edge? As for more MOCs in future, I don't think I'll be able to churn them out in a few days like some people, but I sure will keep building! Thanks Bud, your comments are always welcome. Did you see that I did include you?
-
Oh don't worry, that is on its way... Thanks for the comments Shadows, I'm glad you like it! And also thanks to you Plural for your comment, very much appreciated, although I don't think I am up there with Rebelrock or anything yet (or anytime soon ). He is a real master. How about I be an apprentice instead?
