  1. From Pencoin's most recent comments, I find him even less believable. He has no real argument in his defense, and he was clearly attempting to kill a (hopefully) innocent citizen of Rome, something which in itself is an act of crime, if it was not sanctioned by the correct authority. He himself has admitted it. I believe Pencoin is very guilty, and should be sent before the judge. If he is not convicted, then he will simply go out tonight and attempt to kill another one of us. I for one will not feel safe in my bed if he is not convicted, he can kill people at night, and has and will use this action against Rome.
  2. Once again, the Mad duo are back to do something less Mad, a review! Today we are going to be, um, Unofficial BrickArms Promoters. Hope nobody high and powerful minds... Anyway, today we are going to review for you most of the new BrickArms Weapons, with insightful comments from me and some added... talk from iamded. That's right! I talk! To start with, here is an overview of my humble collection, with invited guests, iamded and co. Apologies in advance for some of the bad photo's, the lighting here is terrible! We wont review every individual weapon, but you get the idea. Note it's not d's entire collection, 5 of those weapons are mine. Yes, that is right. The five weapons that are iamded's are the ones his men are holding. Who figured? That's the President of New Brickia there, with his two bodyguards. Hooray for Blue Team! On to the review: The Sci-Fi Weapons Pack. Oh how beautiful. And in silver too! The stun grenades are tiny, smaller than they first look, and the normal grenades look great in silver! That's the great thing about this one, silver weapons were previously only available as a possible colour for your free bonus weapon, and it could be any weapon. This pack gives you these great new (and some great old) weapons, all in silver! It's fantastic! They are, of course, minifig compatible! These look great in any minifigs hands. Thanks to ImperialScouts and Random Forest man for helping show off these fabulous weapons. Look at the tiny stun grenade! The silver sniper rifle looks great, although not good if you don't want to be spotted... Don't I make a great Halo guy? No comment... The Briefcase Uzi! Just what any mobster needs. The extra clip is good for display purposes, although it can't be attached to the actual weapon.
  3. You do still speak wisely, Hinckley. I am still not entirely certain of you though, we have just been swamped with conflicting information. If we leave voting another day, someone may be killed in the night, and if you or Pencoin are the assassin, then another one of us could be dead by morning. Therefor I still stand by my vote, as he seems more suspicious than you. My apologies if I am wrong, but I simply cannot bear the thought of another night with the killer on the loose... That is why I think someone should be voted for. Remember that they can still prove themselves innocent in the court. Otherwise we may end up with another man dead for nothing.
  4. The day is wearing on, and someone needs to be convicted. I am suspicious of those people who have not voted, let alone not posted at all! I am still not convinced that Pencoin is innocent. We have a conflicting story from both Hinckley and TinyPiesRUs, the question is, which one is lying... Hinckley, may I ask who you do plan on voting for? Not yourself, surely?
  5. Thanks everyone for your comments! Thanks for the comments Batbrick! Craziness is our specialty! Here's a sneak preview of what may be coming up: 6086 Black Knights Castle (No, we're not telling you the name, look it up on Brickset! ) Random pictures promoting Brickarms Brickarms weapons reviews Keep an eye out! And yes, I did get the Dwarves Mine, and am planning on maybe getting another, and if it's not in, then maybe another Bricklink/BrickArms order... Hmm, I wonder if BrickArms is copyright? Ah well, we shall just have to be Unofficial BrickArms Promoters. Thanks Asuka, we both always appreciate your comments. The owl is SlyOwl, although you probably know that. Mess? What mess? I don't see a mess! Thanks Asuka! I wanted to include your sig-fig as you always seem to be in all the forums posting delightful comments on everyone's MOCs, and you deserved it, but as far as I know you don't have a sig-fig. And we didn't have a origami unicorn or black rose... Ah, I suppose we better talk to you, if only for old times sake. Thanks for the comments, although I hope your not calling us crazy! I for one like to refer to it as being in a different mental plain... Thanks Exobuilder! We included you, see? Uh, you're in your work gear, yeah! ~Peace Thanks once again to everyone else who commented as well, we appreciate the feedback. -ator
  6. OOC: Of course, at least 3 of these remaining players haven't posted at all yet... BIC: This wine is good, pass me more of the fish! Care to go into more detail? We are always happy to hear what you have to say in your defense. (Remember that Votes have to be in Bold. )
  7. Well thanks for the comments, other than all the mentions of a lawsuit... And the spelling mistakes. Shadows still has a bit of work to do. Thanks for the comment. Please remember that this was a team effort from both me and iamded, I would hope you would have gathered that from reading it all... As for too many minifigs, this was the whole point! It is supposed to be MAD! More on that later...
  8. Finally, it has arrived, what you have all been waiting for! The quarterly get-together of myself and iamded has come around, and with it, the next installation of Madness. You may remember it, here is a link to the original thread. I will be typing in red, iamded will be typing in blue, isn't that right? No! I want orange! But it doesn't 'contrast', so I guess I am stuck with blue. Anyway, today we have set our sites a little higher than just a vignette, and after iamded built my second Café Corner, we decided to populate the scene. This got a little out of control and here is the result: Café Corner Carnage! Here is an overview: Hmmm, looks pretty busy, doesn't it? The one I built is on the right. Modest as usual. Now for detailed pictures, from left to right (mostly): Shadows and Staudie doing an interview with... who is that? I wish I had all those sig-figs! Ah, that head will stop at nothing to get an interview... Here is the front side of the left building. Look, it's Momo! And Indy and Spiderman and a pig... You can't see it, but Indy's going after the Holy Grail. Or yellow cup, same thing... Also, we all know Jar-jar is clumsy, but I admit, it takes skill to trip over a window vertically... Also, uh, Spidey ran out of web... it's got a lot harder to travel around... And here is a downwards view. Look, it's Aang, come to do his Avatar thing! Although Firebenders are cool, just misjudged. Then again, they did hunt dragons... I hate them all... You can also see Indy grabbing the... cup. Not much to say here, other than Avatar is under-rated and deserves more sets. No, no joke here. Rooftop invasion! Here you can see me (that is, the president version of me) protecting my friendly happy dragon, from a deadly onslaught. Using BrickArms weapons of course. Ah, Stormtroopers, what would we do with out you? Oh, actually we'd probably live in peace, but you know... Also, note the statue... And the rooftop on the other building. A perfectly MAD day, with skellies climbing out of the pit, me protecting another innocent dragon from a viking this time. All part of the job. Ah, a taste of my delicious Castle theme... And then me in the corner, with a taste of my delicious ice-block... And one more angle of that one. Ah, EB RP is great. Look, it's Majiko and General Marcus. This time with BrickForge weapons. And my friend, Fafnir, in the background. BrickForge... staff... want... Stop your drooling. Look, it's SlyOwl! Go pirates! But what is that... thing behind him?... That is ATM-1 thank you very much! A respected member of the Hunters team, jeez, keep up with the times... What, who are the Hunters? They're the blue dudes that wear the same suit I do, remember? I jut ordered 20 of them. Haven't you been looking at my first MOCs? Oh yeah, them... Hey, didn't you use my bricklink to order those? Um, er, uh, let's get back on topic eh? Right, good idea. But I want answers later... Here is a view down the street in the opposite direction. We can see that money machine down the end (he is an ATM isn't he? ), as well as ImperialScouts causing some old hotel manager lots of grief, and a random castle dude... ATM?? Random castle dude??! Why I outta... I try my best... Ah, Batbrick in all his glory. Gotta love that dragon! Wait, I hope Batbrick isn't planning anything... I added those chains for you, bud! Hm, the Dragon Knight seems to be precariously balanced... Don't you be getting any ideas... Why don't we have a closeup of Batbrick? Moving on... Finally, the far side. Isn't that a comic series? Anyway, here we see a few more mad scenes and that attention seeking castle dude. Not that I can say anything. If you're still wondering what we're on about, that 'attention-seeking castle dude' is my EBRP character... Also, you may notice SirNadroj, considering he's smack in the middle of the photo. Maybe we should have asked permission before using these folks sig-figs... I'm sure they wont mind. Well, that is the end of this exciting installment of Madness! Hope you have enjoyed it (as much as is possible anyway) and you should hopefully see some more combined items from us in the coming few days, including some reviews and anything else we might think of. THIS... IS... MADNESS! Um, yeah, thanks for watching! <signal fades>[/cheap interview rip-off] Until next time... ~Peace -ator EDIT: Unfortunately, we were forced to take out over 30 emoticons! [insert shocked emoticon here...]
  9. You know, I would actually prefer if they were one family, as I have a lot more of the Black Knight shields. Although then we would all become very confused, so perhaps best to keep it as is.
  10. M9; On the Grand Highway Dragonator was nearing the end of his second day of travel. As evening was approaching, they he had decided to stop for the night at The Crown, a small inn in the village of Gerbain. Stopping outside he entered the inn, calling for the Barkeeper. I will have two rooms please, one for myself and another for my two companions. We will take your best. I am Councilor Dragonator, from Dragons Keep. Ahh, yes, I will have it arranged my Lord, the Barkeeper stuttered as he rushed to get everything prepared. Turning away from the bar, Dragonator looked at Galcor. Pulling out a sealed letter he handed it to Galcor and said, take this to the old man in the cottage that we passed when we entered this village. Don't be to long. As you say, master. Meanwhile... L7 Dragons Keep Grim took Adym down through the depths of the Keep to a small barred wooden door. This is the room you will be working in. Adym turned the key in the lock and entered the room. It was rather spacious, with a ramp on the opposite side leading up to a set of wooden cellar doors. There were a number of crates full of assorted pieces of wood, metal, stone, fabrics etc.
  11. Nice story Shadows! After reading your post, however, I have noticed you have got one slight thing wrong, you have called them Dragon Masters rather than Black Knights. You might want to change that before anyone else notices...
  12. Do remember that all votes need to be in before the day is up, which is soon. The afternoon is wearing on... With all the attention on two particular people, we are forgetting that there are others out there who are hiding their identities still. Show yourselves, or forever hold your peace!
  13. Which God were you thinking of? As a thought, I do believe what TinyPiesRUs is saying. If Hinckley were to be sentenced to death, then we would find out his role. If it were to be different to what TinyPiesRUs claims it is, then we would know that he is lying and we could convict him. Because of this, he would not be silly enough to lie about this and thus must be telling the truth, otherwise he is committing himself to death. Either way, we will find out soon. My vote remains with Pencoin at the moment though, as I still believe he is the real threat, and that he killed Pirahna. We still haven't heard anything from those other three, I am becoming very suspicious of them, it is unfair if we work hard to figure this mystery out and they end up being victorious because they haven't said anything. Perhaps one of them should be next to go...
  14. My friend, I have to agree with you. Someone needs to go to court for this, and I think Pencoin is the most likely suspect. Therefor I Vote: Pencoin
  15. Hinckley, I think your idea is a good one. A peace squad would be very helpful. The only problem is, that we would not be able to tell whether any rebels infiltrate it. Instead of fighting for peace it could turn against us and cause chaos. We would not want to see this happen. Therefor I do not think it is plausible unless we can validly prove our loyalty to the government. You, I am becoming unsure of. I agree with you on your reasoning for the killer, however we should not be too hasty. As for Hinckley, may I ask why you find his story unconvincing? As for me, I am starting to see Pencoin as being very suspicious. I am glad you have all explained where you were last night. There are some people who have not yet spoken, I think they are trying to hide something. Jipay, Lt. Veers and Castlestrike666 have not said anything yet! This makes me very suspicious, I think people who try to hide by not saying anything when spoken too are very guilty. So I ask you three, where were you last night?
  16. You can't see it? I added four spines! Yes, very different... You seek a stone, huh? I hope you don't plan on taking it from the dragons...
  17. Well, I voted for George Hearn, however they are both cool customs!
  18. That is a very nice vig, good job! Nice use of the Indian head piece, I love those. The minifig heads are also well chosen.
  19. That may be so, but the classic dragons are still a breed in the kingdom. Just as the new Castle dragons are also a breed. But I will probably be sticking with brick built ones mostly. Did you notice that Ragnir is slightly different to his brother, Nidhogg? I didn't want him to be too different, as they are brothers, but there is a slight difference change. I have just changed the names to some more suitable Latin ones. Other pictures will be up soon, followed by Part 3...
  20. Thanks, I am not quite happy with the names of the species, I might think of something better in Latin. By the way, what is wrong with classic dragons?
  21. Hmmm... A government member dead already. This does not bode well for our cause. Let us hope that today we convict a rebel today, and start to make a difference in this city. I would like to call on you all to state where you were last night. Anyone who doesn't respond will be thought of as suspicious. As for me, I was a sleep in my bed, until I was called out by the commotion that appears to be happening here. What say all of you?
  22. As an add on to that, I went and got Tower Raid, yay for me! It looks great, I can't wait to build it!
  23. Part 2 is now up, with some descriptions of the Dragons, and some others. I will add more in Part 3 etc, and the pictures will be up when I take them. Enjoy!
  24. L7 Dragons Keep; Adym's Room Grim looked at this character with scarcely hidden confusion, and wondered to himself why his master would want such a crazy man working for him. I... he began. Hmmm, this wasn't starting well at all. I trust you had a pleasant sleep Mr... Adym, he said. Ah, Grim is a nickname, you know, back when you fist join the army, everyone calls you by a nickname. Well I kind of just adopted it as my real name. My old one wasn't that great anyway... Struggling to keep up with the conversation, Grim made a sad attempt at a grin and said, but your idea for... moving stairs is kind of... cool, if a little out there. Then again, I am sure my master would be all ears, I however am but his loyal bodyguard, and can't really imagine such things. I'll... be outside if you need me. Grim scuttled out of the room, for the first time in his life feeling decidedly uncertain and embarrassed in the face of Adym's blind innocence. Standing outside, Grim wondered why anyone would want to kill a person like Adym, and so decided that there should probably not be much of a threat. But you can never be too certain...
  25. Dragon Masters Kingdom Overview Part 2 Characters (cont.) Dragons In this world, there are three distinct breeds of dragons, they are: Draco Migrus, Draco Famen, and Draco Creber. The Migrus is the most common dragon, with the males usually being Black and the females usually being green (these are the 'classic' dragons). The Creber is the next common, and vary in a range of colours (these are the current castle line dragons). Finally there are the Famen, a much rarer seen breed, and definitely the most clever. They have the fieriest of tempers, but also the most caring natures. They usually handle the affairs of the dragons with 'outsiders'. In appearance, they can often look very different, some smaller, some bigger, depending on what line they come from (lines will be explained at a later date when you need to know more about the dragons). Although some of these dragons are more common than others, dragons in general are not a huge race, and are infrequently seen. Ragnir is the only dragon you have met so far, other than Blazewing. Ragnir is from the Famen breed, and is a fairly young dragon, only recently reaching his years of transgression (113 years). He is seen to be an old friend of Dragonator's, a friendship that has not yet been explained. He is the son of Fafnir (father) and Minrogg (mother), and has a younger brother called Nidhogg (aged 97). His past is as yet unknown. Picture: Around the Castle Listed here are some of the character seen around the castle (please note that this is not everyone, more will be added in Part 3): Galcor is Grim's right hand man. (Grim being Captain of Dragonator's personal Bodyguard). He is the one that usually stands around in the background, watching his masters back, as Grim is quite often of doing jobs of one kind or another. He is a quiet sort who takes his job very seriously. He was born as the second son in the Manock family, an aristocratic family with a small amount of influence within the Keep. As is the custom of the time, as the second son, he was sent into the Army as an officer, a lieutenant. After the war, he was not content to stay in the army, after witnessing the tactics of Lord Dragonator, and immediately applied to join his bodyguard, so as he could learn Dragonator's strategies, reasoning that you could never be to old to learn. He was accepted, and Dragonator often discusses with him various plans or battle tactics he is thinking on, asking the mans' opinion while at the same time teaching him. Galcor is a devoted student and loyal protector, who would give his life for his master. He is now aged 41. Picture: Mark the Driver, is Mike's twin brother and is the Keeps head driver. He is happy to serve the Dragon Masters, holds no loyalties other than to his kingdom, and is a generally good natured fellow. He is reliable, and will always pick out the right route to get you to where you need to go. Picture: Countess Margaretta, is the wife of Councilor Rotrigous. She is just as nasty as her husband, and takes delight in watching the poor servants struggle in their work, and also in causing others pain. She is always up to some sort of mischief in the Keep, whether it be taunting the servants or planning out her latest trick to play on her next victim. As it is the Summer, she is currently visiting her niece, Princess Ariana, up in the Palace at Hamenwear, where she spends her time making the Princess's life hell. Picture: Cyprox, the historian. He is an elderly man, who has dedicated his life to writing a complete history of the Dragon Masters Kingdom. Nobody knows if he will finish before he dies, but he is well respected and is sought after for his wisdom. He is a good friend of Princess Ariana, but does not like to get caught up in the politics of the kingdom. He mostly keeps to himself in his tower room in the Palace in Hamenwear. That concludes Part 2, Part 3 will have more characters and perhaps some more reference material. I haven't quite had enough time to add as many characters to this one as I would have liked, so they will be in there somewhere too. Until next time, -ator
