  1. Hinckley, you are amazing! This is simply stunning, you have put a tremendous effort into it, and this shows! I like the general shape, it is very well done, with a sleek and fitting hull, although I do think it could curve up a little more at the front perhaps. But then again, who am I to know! The colour scheme is also very fitting. The engines are nicely built, a good use of greebles on the top. I think the rigging looks great, and you've done an awesome job on making those sails yourself. The back section is very nice, some great details and a nice use of the TIE cockpit. Dose thos ship have interior? I guess we'll find out in the next episode... Oh, and I love the figurehead, a very good choice. Anyway, a great job overall, I can't wait to see the comic, this certainly sets the standard!
  2. The design for that boiler is ingenious! A very intricate and well thought out model, it's coming along great! Keep us posted, I can't wait to see how you do the seven wide chaise. A real challenge you have given yourself.
  3. Ahem, and now I think we should all retire to our beds, as the DAY IS OVER.
  4. L7 Dragons Keep; Front Gates Dragonator stepped out of the entrance hall, and proceeded through the driving rain to his waiting carriage. Getting in, he said to Galcor, his bodyguard, not a pleasant day to start our travels in, is it? No my Lord, it most certainly is not. Are you ready to leave? Most certainly, the sooner we are on the road, the sooner we can get to the meeting place. I hope to be there a day in advance so we can set up for the arrival of the representatives from the other kingdoms. I am hoping all will go smoothly. Driver! Let us be going! The driver loaded the last few bags onto the back of the carriage, got up on the driving seat and, pulling down his hood, set off into the misty rain. Unknown to the party, a shadow was tailing them... Meanwhile... L7 Dragons Keep; Councilor Scorpia's Chambers Turning from his window, Scorpia faced the Shadow. They have left, and your man is following, I presume? He is as close as can be without being seen. Excellent, he will hopefully carry out his duties soon. You know what you need to do, don't you? Oh course, as long as I am paid the agreed upon amount. Here is the first half. You will get the rest once the job is done. Make sure you do it properly, I don't want any mistakes. You can rest assured that all will go well, me and my men have never failed a job. Also Meanwhile... Grim ascended the stairs, heading towards Adyms chambers. He will be waiting, and hungry to I suspect, he muttered to himself, placing his laden tray of steaming food on a small table to take a rest. I wish there was some better way to get up there than by the stairs, he grumbled. Walking to the end of the corridor, he knocked on the door, waited a moment, and then said, I have brought your breakfast, Mr. Wrenchmonger, I hope you are hungry...
  5. A nice, simple Moc, that sums up a ghost town ruin nicely. It looks to be very accurate to the picture, good job!
  6. If you are a member of the senate, which I am starting to doubt, why would you be so openly treasonous, and not even know the Emperor's name? I think you are a traitor and a man looking only to gain power for himself. Prove me wrong, please, or my vote will be for you. Barnabus, you caught this fish? It is mighty fine!
  7. That would be because I bought both the green and yellow ones. I am looking forward to getting them, they look great!
  8. Hey all. Just letting you know, I have updated Part 1 of my character summary with pictures, and should hopefully have Part 2 up some time today. Happy Adventuring!
  9. Hmmm, this wine is really good. That's why I come here often, it's my favourite place in all of Rome! Say Barnabus, want another? I understand they serve fish here too. Let us hope it is not you or I that gets served up! Say, Mark Antony, you've been very quite recently, what do you have to say for yourself? (OOC Please remember guys that it is against the rules to edit a post, so think before you type. BIC)
  10. Thanks for that, Vaders_son and Lamanda2, it is very helpful. I would very much like to get some of these! I'm goin' to go see if I can register now. EDIT: Registered, and I've purchased 5 lots of the Dragon Masters capes, two in green, two in black, and one in the white. Yes I like them a lot!
  11. That looks great SlyOwl, the inside-out tires are really effective, this seems to be a technique that is really taking off! The eyes are so cute, they really make it seem like just a lonely sea monster, rather than a destruction-wrecking berserk! Nice job, really well done.
  12. Good for some, it still seems to be 350NZD... Wait, isn't that the original price anyway? Or am I simply confused?...
  13. Ah, a fisherman, a job that is necessary for the rest of the city to eat, without good men like you, we would all starve! As for me, I am simply a servant of the city, doing what is necessary. It would be good to get to know some of you other people, what are your opinions on the current state of affairs?
  14. I have just put in an order. And the site looks fine now, must have just been a temporary glitch... Thanks once again for letting us know!
  15. I the look of those capes! They look to be of great quality, and the patterns are really well suited. When you say they are printed on one side, what colour is the other side, it it white? Just wondering how it looks on a mini-fig from the front... I might consider getting some of these, although I've never bought of eBay before. Do I need to register? Once again, great job, they are beautiful!
  16. Thank you, I am honoured to have met such a man as you, Barnabus. Peace is what this city needs. I do not appreciate the talk of certain people (indicates Mark Antony) who want to create confusion and simply take power for themselves. Perhaps we should consider him...
  17. Yay, go Dragon Masters! I have to agree with iamded, I do like the Black Knights sets better for their design ( betrayal! ), however, the Dragon Knights are just awesome, 'cause they have dragons! This is a nice set, with some awesome minifigs and a nice overall design. I wish I had it... Go Masters!
  18. L7; Dragons Keep; Lord Dragonator's Chambers Dragonator sat, looking at Adym in increasing horror. Please tell me you did not just leave your papers on your desk? This castle has some very extreme political currents, if the wrong person were to see those, then it could jeopardize my plans. Best to keep them on you at all times. I am happy you have made a start however. I can have materials made avaliable to you, and a space to work in. Below the castle are the dungeons and storage areas. There is a room down there where I have collected a certain amount of resources. It has a pair of cellar doors up a ramp, so if you have anything big, then bring it in through there. They are well hidden on the other side, and nobody ever goes down that far into the castle usually. But keep it locked at all times, even when you are there. Here is the key to the room, I hold the other copy. Do not lose it, your life could possibly depend upon it. Grim will show you down there when you are ready. Was that all? Meanwhile, in Councilor Scorpia's chambers... Council Scorpia sat in his large, plush armchair. You are certain that is what you saw?, he questioned the Shadow. Most certain, he grated. And it appears to re-enforce what I heard him talking of in the dragons little corner. Indeed. It appears I will need to act soon. I have a task for you... The Shadow listened, attentively. It shall be done. He will not stand a chance...
  19. That sounds like anti-government talk to me. Taxing the people of this city more so you can get extra money in your pocket? You want to be in charge? I'd like to see you try... For me, I too think it would be best for our cities government to regain control. Then there would not be any need for bloodshed. I am Centurio, for those of you who don't know.
  20. Nice work on your list. As for making characters from other factions, this is probably alright. Just don't go completely over the top and contradict what someone else has said. Other than that, should be OK, just use common sense in creating them and all will be fine! I have posted part 1 of my general/character information list. I just need to add some photos. Part 2 will be done whenever I next have time...
  21. Please remind me not to ask for you to fly down with an escort when you decide to visit... This is really good, the aircraft is stunning by the way. The punch line is great, and unexpected too.
  22. Dragon Masters Kingdom Overview Part 1 Map: Capitol City: Dragons Keep Characters: You have already met Dragonator (me), King Dracus, Grim and Mike the Messenger earlier in this thread. Here are some more (please not e that this is not a complete list, and will be added to later ) Council of Five This is the main group of people under the King. Each councilor represents a certain group that has elected for them to represent them on the council. Senior Councilor Dragonator. Selected by the King to lead the council, after his great effort during the great war. Technically he is the representative of the dragons, however they were not given a vote at the time, being a 'banned' species according to the treaty. They have not disputed his position, on the contrary, with Ragnir's arrival it was 'officially' confirmed. Other information is elsewhere in this thread (sorry) Councilor Scorpia. Elected to the council by the King. It is unsure how he managed to get onto the council, however he is tolerated, if barely. He is a scheming and twisted person, with no feeling of mercy or anything else much. He is a bit of a wimp when spoken to face to face. He has a terrible burn scar over his left eye, caused by a run in with a dragon while out hunting them on the orders of the so-called treaty with the Scorpion Knights. He does not like dragons in the least, and is Dragonator's main rival on the council, and in every other action. He was unheard of until after the war. Picture: General Marcus. Elected by the army to represent them. He is a long serving officer, and fought with Dragonator in the great war. As a result, the two are great friends and support each other on the council. The yellow plumes represent that Marcus is from the Central kingdom squadron, while the two wings show he is an officer in the Air Marshals. He choses to wear the army uniform on most occasions, as this is pretty much his life. He also wears a Dragon Masters Officer cape for the Air Marshals (not pictured) Picture: Councilor Rotrigous. The longest serving member, coming up to his 26th year. He is supposedly elected by the nobles and land-owners of the city, however in reality it is simply that nobody dares to try and stand to be elected instead of him. The last candidate to go for this position died an unexpected death after falling from the top of the outer wall, and that was 13 years ago. Rotrigous is a dark, moody person, and rarely has any ideas of his own. His loyalties lie with Scorpia. Up until the great war he was Aquartos' right hand man, but was not removed from the council like the other four members of the time as he is the King's cousin. Picture: Majiko the wizard. According to tradition there must always be a wizard on the council, and Majiko is their representative. He is usually neutral on the council, although more often than not he sides with Dragonator on important decisions. He is a friendly wizard, and has recently agreed to help Dragonator with a little project... Picture: The Royal Family King Dracus; information can be found elsewhere in this thread. He is not married and does not have any children. Crown Prince Madrig (deceased). The king's older brother. He died days after his father, King Griand III, in a suspicious hunting incident. Princess Ariana, the King's sister. Although not allowed to take any part whatsoever in the running of the castle, she is the King's next of Kin. She cannot take the throne, because the Dragon Masters only allow males to have positions of any importance (accept for one or two exceptions ). She does not live in the castle, but rather in the Kings palace in the northern city of Hamenwear. She loves her brother, although he rarely seems to notice her when she visits the Keep. She is quite naive, and spends her days reading poetry, sewing, and talking with Cyprox, a wise historian who also lives in the palace. Picture: This is the extent of the direct Royal Family. Thanks for looking at part one, I will update with pictures when I take them. Part 2 will contain some of the higher nobles and other characters of worthy mention, as well as any one else I have forgotten... -ator
  23. L7 Dragons Keep; Throne Room This probably wasn't the best time. Grim had been standing unnoticed by the king for the last twenty minutes. He slowly leaned in front of the King Dracus' view. My King, I have a message from Senior Councilor Dragonator. Dracus started forward, almost falling off his chair. What, why are you stessaging? Grim repeated himself. Lord Dragonator wishes to inform you that he is leaving tomorrow morning to visit his... Aunt in Dromindur. He thought you may wish to know, and suggests not acting on anything until he returns. Ah, yes yes, that is fine, where is Bongo? Grim looked at the King blankly. What, may I ask, is fine? Grim looked up and found himself looking at Councilor Scorpia. Nothing that concerns you. Grim could not bring himself to include the honourary. Indeed. I do not like what Dragonator is up too. It is good that he will be... leaving us for a while. () The two glared at each other for a few moments. Finally, Grim stated, I must report to my master. Perhaps you would speak with him before he goes? I am sure he has a lot to say to you after your actions at the last council meeting. No, no, there will be no need for that, Scorpia rattled out a little hastily. I would speak with my King as his humble and obedient servant. In private. That will be all, Grim. Scorpia has found Bongo for me! Both Scorpia and Grim rolled their eyes.I had best be leaving then. Grim strode out, anxious about leaving the King alone with Scorpia to listen to his twisted councils, and also frustrated that such a man could have the King so easily tied around his finger... Meanwhile... L7 Dragons Keep; Lord Dragonator's Chambers Dragonator looked up from his saddlebags, quickly stuffing a small wrapped object into the bottom of it. Ah, Adym, come in, take a seat. How can I help you?
  24. Nice job, that is a very detailed list you have made. That makes it much easier to relate with those characters. I had better go work on my characters...
  25. Well, I guess I better add my new sig-fig, although he has been around for a few weeks now... A picture of just me. And a picture of me at dinner. I'm not wearing my cap in this one, as I'm sitting in a chair that doesn't allow for it... Hope you like him, and thanks to Batbrick for the inspiration!
