  1. The frigate sure is a beauty, I might mess with the color scheme a bit, but it looks good as is. Details look amazing, the cannons got a nice upgrade from the proposed ones. Minifigs aren't that bad either for a BDP set. Sails seem to be the main gripe. Personally, I don't care. I want to be looking at the main part of the set, not something hidden under sails. As for the price, I don't really see a problem at 350 USD, surely it's a bit expensive, but for the 4087 parts, 20 minifigures, and a great design its not that bad (not quite sure why at the current exchange rate european folks are paying 50$ extra but...). Anyway, I'm very much looking forward to purchasing!
  2. Pieces Search Page - LEGO.com - US Parts list if anyone wants to take a peek, cause instructions are not uploaded yet. Edit, looks like it's only some... good ol Lego...
  3. Exactly, we only got 2 redcoats in one small to medium-sized set and 1 in a minifig pack for the entire PotC theme, with no ship whatsoever.
  4. By golly, give me redcoats or give me death! Seriously, though, we have not gotten a medium to large ship for the Imperials since what, 2010 - 2012?
  5. Yup, you can use them, and I would love to see some pictures of your other pirate-themed minifigures :)
  6. The new Minifigure Factory from Lego was released online in the U.S. and here is the torso I designed ;) When it comes I am planning to swap out the arms for red, and I will add some photos. Here's the back of the torso the design is not perfect since in order to create a design like this you have to add letters and then reshape them to size hence the cross belts buttons, buckles and so on. Here's the link to try :D www.lego.com/en-us/minifigure-factory P.S. I know I have not been very active on Eurobricks but I have had little time to build in the past few months I will see if I can be more active in the following months :)
  7. Or a black-coat soldier/officer!
  8. They look great!
  9. Yeah, I think that Indy will get another show, and if they wanted they could just not put the Nazis or the Russians in at all, just do some classic adventures fighting other archeologists. I'm certainly not here to dispute that the Nazis were awful people, but I'm pretty sure that the TV show never showed them it focused on young Indy and his adventures during WW1. Also, a movie like the first or second nowadays would certainly get a PG-13 rating some state that this was the kickstart for the whole 13+ rating.
  10. Very nice build, I love the video at the end
  11. Here are most of the photos from the Flickr album...
  12. I voted for the newer redcoats because redcoats are my favorite however I just got one of the new bluecoat torsos and they look very nice and I'm hoping we see them in red soon. As for a new color, I would love to see white, they would make a nice French army.
  13. Welcome to the Eurobrick's forum, I see you had some of the classic pirate sets, very nice!
  14. Before I name any MOC's is there a certain theme you like, like pirates, space, castles, etc?
  15. Very nice I especially like the curvature of the abandoned water tower, the series reminds me of reading the Hardy Boys when I was young.
  16. Aye, they would make spiffy-looking continental marines, now all they need is a ship, and then they are off to raid Nassau!
  17. Wow, Lego ought to hire you as a minifig designer!
  18. As much as I would like this there is no way, Lego makes minifigs in flesh colors if they are based on real people (besides Lego friends).
  19. Wow, I love those windows, I can't wait for any updates/modifications :)
  20. Unfortunately, they limit you, you can only get 3 of the discounted discounts.
  21. 10210 Imperial Flagship (the 2015 one) has my vote, mostly because of the sails, these are the most historically accurate although the sails on 4195 would look nice on a pirate ship MOC.
  22. Wow, I'm very impressed the colors and the shape look great
  23. Thank's
  24. I like the portrayal of life on the home front, with all the shops and offices
  25. Thanks, and yes that's a gas can I'm glad someone knew what it was
