Sadly, I doubt it would look as cool without all that painted detail. But, yeah. I agree. They're both friggin' sweet. Really makes me wish I had more HF parts to build with (I don't like taking apart my sets). Kalhiki

Whatever that head is, it's too gorgeous to not be in a set. I want it so bad. Also, what are they using for its wings? They seem way too big to be anything practical (y'know, aside from this), and I sure haven't seen them before. Kalhiki

That model is fantastic. I honestly couldn't tell it was made from HF parts at first. And the painted version looks even better. I like the head, too. Glad it wasn't used for Core Hunter, but I would like to see it on a future set. Kalhiki

I had an idea for using the slugs as tentacles of some kind. Their tails just seem like they'd look cool as such. Kalhiki

Dragon Bolt's missing some of the lightning pieces on the wings. :P Don't mind the red button too much. Sure blue or yellow would look better, but at least we have something. Still don't care about Rocka. The bare crotch doesn't help either especially with the large upper half. Kalhiki

The sets are looking better than ever! Thanks for the link, Shakar! Dragon Bolt looks pretty good in that pose. And I'm starting to grow a bigger liking for Stormer. Evo looks great, too. Opinions really haven't changed. Still think they all look great (minus Jet Rocka. Still not interested). Kalhiki

Worriz's Combat Lair... ... "Converts into five models" Whaaaat? I'm really wanting to see more of this now. Also, the fact that the Twin Bike converts to a jet is also kinda cool. May get it, but most of my collection is Ravens and Eagles already, so... Kalhiki

Woo! Pictures! Ahem. Anyway... Stormer looks good. If the packaging is correct, it seems he'll be getting a silver sword. Sad since a blue one would be much nicer. Frost Beast looks... Decent. Something about the body or the pose makes him look fat, though. But I want to see how the body is assembled. Seems kinda weird. Opinion hasn't changed about Evo and Aquagon. Surge is nice looking. Loving the flame piece in the lightning colors. Also, do my eyes deceive me, or is his visor printed? Now Dragon Bolt. Wow. The head mold, the lightning wings, and an obvious wing flapping function. I'm excited for this fella. But most of all, that Brain Slug. The colors are so weird. I'm beginning to wonder if it is glow in the dark. The packaging makes it look like the eyes glow at least. It seems the Combat Lair has roughly the same head as the Pack Tracker. I'd like to see a bit more variation between the two in that. Otherwise, it looks great. I'm hoping the Twin Bike can split. The top part just seems like some sort of jet. As for the Furty and Skinnet, they don't look half bad. And it's also cool that they have tails. Maybe tails will be introduced to the Crocs in later waves. Also interesting that they use the same helmet. They did a good job designing a generic looking helmet that can go well with two different tribes. Kalhiki

I'm not just talking about helmets. It's nice to see resemblence in that, just to keep the identity and feel of the character. But as for design, I feel they should be different. For instance, BA Bulk looks hardly anything like he did in Breakout. As for Evo, he has the round shoulder armor, and the same color layout on the legs. Sure it's not too much, but for me it's noticable. I guess what I'm essentially saying is that if I'm buying a figure I want them to be different compared to past versions. Luckily, Evo has enough variation to merit a purchase. Kalhiki

Aquagon looks great. And cool news to see we're getting a blue head. I imagine that since he has blue swords, Stormer will have them as well as opposed to the silver we saw in the ToyFair picture. Evo looks good, though kinda close to his Breakout version. Still, I'm liking him and will surely pick him up. Kalhiki

Meh. The mech could be better. But I'm loving the Hive Crawler (is that the big bug tank thing?). Much better than wave 1, if you ask me. Kalhiki

True, and I realize that. But still, these seem especially stumpy. Though, it is a robot, so it doesn't really matter. Gorillas' heads also aren't blended in their chests. Kalhiki

I don't mind the mech. Not the best mech, but still pretty cool. I like the banana cannon and the fact that it uses Hero Factory parts for the hands is interesting.My only complaint would be the legs which just seem way to small. But maybe when it's down on all fours it'll look better. Kalhiki

Looking at Jet Rocka again... Meh. It's nice, but it's not for me. Besides, I already have Wave 1 BA Rocka. Plus, I just can't help but feel that he'll look goofy at some angles with that massive jetpack and those skinny legs. Kalhiki

Indeed we have. The fang pieces have been in several Chima sets. The beak on Razcal's Glider, and the claws on Lennox's Lion Attack (and I'm sure others). Jet Rocka looks nice. But I'd still love it if it was more in line with Jet-Power Prime from the second Transformers movie. Give Rocka massive boots (or better yet, rocket boots) along with a jetpack. Kalhiki

The Chi Raider is mine! Hahaha! Ahem. Yeah, I found it. It still needs to be built, but at least I finally got. The one set I was looking forward to the most. Let's hope it doesn't disappoint! Also, I did go to TRU, but I didn't do the Chima Challenge or whatever. We were kind of in a hurry, sadly. Kalhiki

You guys were right. Went shopping again yesterday, and the stores that previously had the Golden Dragon had none. Luckily, the last store I went to had two, so all was not lost. I took your advice and picked it up. Haven't built it yet, though. I'll get around to it today. Kalhiki

Foxes? Really? I want my Elephant Tribe. Still, just shows how creative Lego can be. I'd like to see what sorts of vehicles they can make for them. Anyway, Chi Temple looks pretty sweet. You guys are making me regret my decision... I'll be sure to get it next time. Luckily, there are a lot of stores around where I live, so it should be reletively easy to get. If it's sold out in one store, there's always another I'm able to check. But I should try and get it at Walmart, which I found was the cheapest place (comparing to Target and Toys R Us). Kalhiki

Ehhhhh.... I don't know how I feel about this. Buildable action figures for Lego copy-cats is nothing new. But these just look... Strange. And kinda bad. I'll probably not be getting any of these. But it's still interesting to see. Also: "each will come with a re-sealable case to ensure your kids (or you) don’t lose the parts". HF bags anyone? Kalhiki

Sad that the wings aren't new pieces. I loved the Dragon wings used in the Vikings theme, and I'd like to have a feathered variation of it. The Gorilla is pretty interesting. Grey Hulk chest and whatnot. Also seems to have an ammo belt filled with bananas. Not really interested in these, though. But at least the parts are nice. May want to get Cragger just for the croc head. Kalhiki

Loving the look of the online game. Seems to be in the same format as the other lego games made by Traveller's Tales. I'm definitely going to be playing that one. Also nice to see the Constraction figures, but I'm not as interested in them. Kalhiki

Cool video. Very cool video, actually. It's getting me even more excited for the episode. Nice to see some more shots of Frost Beast. Really wanting that set now. And that sword just looks awesome. The "anti-Heroes" also look pretty cool. I'd like to see one as a set, but then again, with their simplicity, there's not much to offer. But they seem to be made completely of pre-existing pieces, so it should be easy to MoC. Or, y'know, they could shove it in an exclusive set with Stringer and Nex... Can't really say much else, but this episode really seems like an action-packed one. Kalhiki
