Why does everyone hate on the Samurai Mech? I feel this wave of Ninjago is going to be very promising simply due to all the robots we (most likely) will be getting. Kalhiki
-
Evil looking villains, eh? That sounds promising. Now. Where are our pictures? Kalhiki

I'm going to assume we'll have a summer wave for 2013. But if so, I wonder if we'll get an XL Hero. Stormer would make the most sense, but having him in Breakout wave 2 just seems repetitive. And if he isn't in an XL form, it would be weird having the veteran smaller than Furno. But enough speculating for Summer. I have high hopes for this wave, but I mainly just want a new skeleton design. And by that I mean waist articulation. Because that would be awesome. Kalhiki

I'm hoping the prices stay how they are. They are all roughly in my price range, so I can get most of them. Personally Kai's Mech and the Golden Dragon (more Dragons, yes!) are ones that definitely catch my interest. And if Garmatron is anything special, instant buy. Kalhiki

Cool names, but I still want pics. Hopefully, Furno won't use the same build as Stormer in the XL form. I'd like some creativity. Plus, I don't think the Hulk chest would work. Breez and Stringer coming back is great. Rocka... Okay, I can live with him. Can't say much about the villains. Kalhiki

Hopefully we'll get more blue if Von Nebula comes back. A red and orange Hero sounds cool. But, yeah, only if Furno's not there. It seems a lot of colors are taken up. Purple is the only color missing. We have all the colors of the rainbow, plus white, black, silver, and gold. Gives us purple and we'd be set. Hm. Purple and trans lime green... Or would that be too "Barney the Dinosaur"? Kalhiki

I want a new Hero. Not only is the build for Heroes getting monotonous, but having the same characters over and over is equally getting annoying. Make the new guy purple. Or some other cool color. Kalhiki
-
... Meh. So far not interested. Minifigs aren't that great, if you ask me. Can't judge anything else since I have yet to see the models. Kalhiki

New to the topic. What I've gathered: high tech vehicles and animal people. Since I missed out on Exo Force (as in, never was interested in it (until now)), I'm hoping for another theme like that. Curious to see what this theme could contain. Not to thrilled in the animal people if that's really the case. Just seems weird to me. Kalhiki

An easy way to get a lot of Hex energy shields. I want to make a Stegosaurus with those. And some more transparent shells. Kalhiki

I'm pretty sure remolds of the Glatorian heads are in the works. I'd imagine by the 2013 wave they'd be out. Personally, and I've said this before, I'd like to see more 1.0 styled Heroes again. In other words, more detailed cladding. They did well with Breakout, but if there were pieces reminiscent of the 1.0 ankle guards and chest armor, I'd be even more happy. What else... More involved builds would be cool. I'd also like to see a figure with waist/mid body articulation, whether it be Hero or Villain. And some new Hero Cores. Either color the most recent kind, or give us new transparent ones. Oh, and a new Hero. At least one new one, and then keep a couple of the original Heroes. Kalhiki

It would be cool if it was a multi-year theme (kinda like Ninjago), and each year or wave was on a different planet or something. For instance, a jungle planet, ice planet, etc. If it does incorporate something similar to the Galaxy Patrol guy, I'll be all in for this. Especially if there's a Mech or two for them. Just think of an already heavily armored minifig with a giant Mech. If Chima is any good (which it's starting to sound cool), between that and this, my wallet is going to hurt. Kalhiki
-
Sounds interesting, but I'll reserve further judgement for later on. Like, whenever I see pictures. Also, what's LAF? Kalhiki
-
Didn't Lego say the replacement theme would leave us asking why Ninjago wasn't cancelled sooner? Means it's something pretty good, so I highly doubt it's TMNT (not saying TMNT is bad, though). Kalhiki
-
I thought that got cancelled. Unless I'm thinking of a different TMNT movie that involved Bay. Either way, loving the Stone Army guy. Looking forward to seeing what 2013 has in store. Kalhiki

In the Breakout episode, the blueprints for the Factory were sent to who we can only assume to be Von Nebula (his hand and arm were shown). People are speculating there will be a "Villain Factory" or something of the sort. Personally, if that happens, I'm wondering if HF will end after that. Seems like a good finale to me. Maybe be a year-long story arc like Breakout. Kalhiki

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
Kalhiki replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
It'll probably show up in a later episode (and by that, I mean one that hasn't aired on TV. I know some episodes have aired elsewhere are are available on Youtube). I'm pretty sure that happened last time he updated his site. Also, Grand Sensei Dareth's Mojo Dojo is such a goofy song, it's awesome. Still want some of the pirate themesand the falcon song to be put up, though. Kalhiki- 4,591 replies

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
Kalhiki replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
This should probably go here since the other topic's about the sets. And I don't know if anyone has mentioned it already. But, it appears Jay Vincent (composer for the TV series (obviously)) has updated his site with some new tunes. Haven't checked them all out yet, so you'll have to see what's new for yourself! Check it out! (click on "Hear" and scroll down a bit) Kalhiki- 4,591 replies

I thought you were. You're avatar is definitely your art style (not to mention the URL for the pictures saying "SicariiFerro"). And even for running out of pieces it still looks good. I wish I paid more attention to the actual set so I could see what all you changed. Kalhiki

Not bad. Most differences are in the bike which I can tell due to the extreme lack of gaps. But I'm not sure how I feel about the usage of two lightning swords on each side. But I do like the angled jet turbin armor... Things. Kalhiki
-
I'm still hoping for 1.0 Hero looks to return, but using the 2.0 build. They came close with Breakout by re-introducing the old helmets, but having 1.0 style ankle guards and body armor would be cool. Kalhiki

Your English is good enough to understand. Thanks for the info! I am super excited to get this book and read it. I always enjoy prequels. Kalhiki
-
The Doom Box... eh. I'll probably read it. But Legion of Darkness really got me excited. Seems like the very early years of the Factory. And Splitface and Voltix have been around for a long time. Really am wanting to read it. Also, cool to hear a new breakout episode is coming out. Can't wait to see more about it. Kalhiki

Oddly enough I just saw TDKR and picked up Core Hunter. Yeah, the similarity is there. Gas mask-ish face, similar body look. Anyway, Core Hunter's cool. Generic build, yes, but the colors make him shine, not to mention the overall character. I just wish the Helmet covered his chin. Kalhiki

So, I checked the site. Was quite impressed with how morbid Core Hunter's weapon is. Surgical precision is always scary when it comes to villains. Yeah, those animations were cool. Reminded me of some of the Ghost animations from Bionicle. Stormer's was especially good. Is anyone else impressed at the effort that goes into the weapon and character bios. They're somewhat humorous and also quite informative especially when they go into detail on how the weapons work. Kalhiki
