    I was thinking the same, but you gotta remember: Onepu's mask was completely purple while PoE's mask is dominantly black. Not nearly as eyecatching (yeah, it does have trans purple blend, but the face is black, and that's what you'll be seeing the most). Personally, for a Protector Nui, I'd say go with Jungle. It's vibrant and has a lovely blend.

    Not a fan of the... What are we calling them? Powered Up Modes? I mean, I get what they're going for, but it's just not for me. Instead of wasting my time swapping weapons, I'll be focusing on creating Toa Kaita.

    I went for the text review. For some reason, Lego feels better reviewed with text. Not a bad set, but probably not the best either. It just doesn't seem like there's really anything interesting going on. But that mask. Love how the two greens are a similar shade as opposed to the other Protectors which have a different color for the trans bit. Makes a very neat blend effect.

    Whaaaaaa??? Mind=Blown Seriously. That's sweet. I absolutely love how these masks aren't completely useless without the new head. I applaud you, Lego. Good job.

    The only reason I'd want one would be so I can have a representation of the Spectral Mask from Journey of Takanuva. Because I'm absolutely obsessed with that artwork. But otherwise, I can't seem to get myself to shell out that much for a mask. But that's just me.

    I'll probably get 'em all in one go. But Protector of Stone and Pohatu will be the first I build. After them, I have no idea. I guess whoever I want to play with.

    Huh. Lewa's looking pretty good. At first the shoulders being raised so high was kinda jarring, but with all the armor around there, it's actually not that bad. Much better than I thought he'd be.

    Man, the Protector of Fire looks slick! But that lack of elbows, man. And the super short upper legs aren't too great either. Looking forward to Pohatu as well. Been wondering how the new incarnation of my favorite Toa of Stone will turn out.

    Hm. Not bad. The color scheme is actually pretty great, so that's good. Overall, can't say much about him. Loving the Protectors so far, but I'll need to see them all before I decide which is my favorite. Say... is it possible to attach a shell to the torso balljoint on the back? That'd be an easy way to armor the back, and I don't think it'd interfere with the chest armor.

    Not around here. I've seen Christmas lights and decorations out already. Some radio stations are also playing Christmas music. But I, personally, am with your statement. I wait till Thanksgiving weekend/end of November before I get in the Christmas mood.

    I'll be going next weekend. Doubt I'll find anything this early, though. Depending on when I find them, I'd like to get the Protector of Stone first and then the rest for Christmas. Turaga Onewa was the first set I got (and later Pohatu), and I received the rest of the figures (Turaga and Toa) for Christmas that year. It'd just be a nice bit of nostalgia for me.

    Sometimes yeah, and it's super annoying. Happened at Target with the Ninjago Rebooted line where the sets were on shelves maybe a week before the release date. Go to the register and it rings up saying it can't be sold until such-n-such date. I think it also has happened at TRU. I've never had problems with Lego, but I know other people have. But I know TRU usually gets stuff early, anyway. So long as it's a few weeks to a month early, I don't have problems. A few days to a week early I probably won't be able to buy them.

    I just hope it's not the case where they stock the shelves, but you can't buy them until such-n-such date. :/ It's happened before.

    I was hoping Darkseid would be in the Bizarro DLC considering he's in the movie. I wonder who else is in the Suicide Squad DLC. Surely it can't just be Boomer.

    Two Toa for the body and one for each limb a la Devastator? That sounds pretty sweet. Personally, I'd prefer such a combination to be for the Protectors. Remember the Turaga Nui? I'm going to have way to much fun with these sets... I'd imagine end of November to mid December is when we'll see them pop up. Seems silly that they wouldn't capitalize on the holiday shopping season.

    Pohatu's leg function... No. Sorry, but no matter how you slice it, it'll end up looking bad. That's the best attempt I've seen, VBBN, but it's still pretty wacko. :P Also, nice Akamai and Wairuha, Aanch. Can't wait to get these sets so I can start fiddling with combi models myself.

    Editing is a large part of making a video, so it's a shame yours didn't get the proper treatment. But I do applaud you on your picture taking skills. They're fantastic. How much were they edited? Tahu doesn't look like he's casting a shadow. Whatever you did, though looks spectacular.

    Unless it's something crazy like Aqua theme continuation of Ultra Agents! :O Ahem. Either way, it's a cool looking shark. Seems like it's molded in a shiny silver plastic (though that may be the photo). Honestly, I'm leaning toward an Aqua theme since Ultra Agents seems to be done after this wave considering we're getting the big bad (Antimatter). I may have been joking earlier, but Aqua Agents sounds pretty cool. Hmmm....

    Yeah, the vid was less than spectacular. But the pictures made up for it considerably holy cow. So bright and crisp. Anywho, Tahu's cool, but yeah. Maybe not as good as the other larger Toa.

    And no Clayface, what? He'd be the perfect figure to use for a big fig transformation right next to Bane. At least people are saying the story's good, so that's a plus. Definitely getting the game, but the roster could've been better...

    Hearing who all isn't in the game, I agree. I'm pretty disappointed with the roster. And I don't even have the game. I'd much prefer to run around as my favorite characters that I know and love than random oddballs like Batcow or whatever. All we can hope for is DLC, I guess.

    Thanks for the link! I think Rokit may be my favorite out of the bunch, but heck. They all look great. Still not thrilled we're getting more Infernites, but I won't deny that they look fantastic. Meltus is a dinosaur and Flamzer is flippin' adorable. The Glowy ones (Glowkies? Something like that?) are all pretty cool. They look great, and GitD is always a plus.
