It is simply goes under marketing budget, I don't think that price per set calculations are on spot here. Ambassador program is extremely cheap and effective marketing strategy. Cost cutting is not a thing to consider here in my opinion.

Considering 250 dollars price and the plain design of the Rover can it be 1:8 scale model with around 2500 pieces? I mean, 1970 Moon Rover is basically just a car chasis with few gadgets. I think either it must be a huge set or have additional obejects to increase piece count (astraunant ?). Or it will simply be a Control+ set.

What about dragline excavator ? F.E. Liebherr HS 8300. We never saw such machine in Technic. The main idea is that quite a lot of parts could be reused from 42146 crwaler crane. Maybe it could be the thing not the next year but in 2025 when crane will retire.

Nice idea. I think if front loader would be Liebherr, it could be white = differentiation from 42030. We will have space front loader this year. I bet we won't get two loaders in one year.

Just a little detail I observed: on A frame there is a little LEGO group 2020 marking. On boom structural member marking year is 2021. On counterweight part it is 2022. It really took a while to design this set.

Danil, there is no need to taunt or bully people who are buying this. Some people can afford it at this price, some people like it and there is nothing wrong if they decided to buy this set.

Yes, but they can do the same after milking LR13000 dry. Only reason it might be cancelled is a major design flaw, which I doubt since this set was delayed by one year just to make it right.

I dissagree. I see the hype and it will sell. No way it will be cancelled. Overpriced Zetros is here for around 2 years with a pernament discount. LEGO made some investments Into this one (new molds), this is the main difference from Osprey which was mainly designed from old parts.

Haha. Perhaps LEGO don't have enough sets for a massive amount of pre orders after the reviews will come out. They are definitely buying some time here . Sariel mentioned in the comment section of this Yamaha video that review will come at the end of the month.
