  1. That retractable landing gear is more technic than any 1:16 car transporter car.
  2. It is not Milan's set, he said that on Instagram. The only set from Milan this year is RB F-1. But he also stated, that he "helped here and there" on some of the summer wave sets.
  3. Thank you ! That is an amazing contribution to the community! You did way better than TLG marketing team, because now I am convinced to buy both 42175 and 42209 :) In fact, This MOC is the reason why I might get two 42175 :) https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-194775/Dyens Creations/heavy-duty-bulldozer-42175-excavator-rebuild/#details
  4. R0Sch, is it something you could do? Could the fit be checked in studio? Please :)
  5. With pybricks and powered up remote, control+ sets are immortal and very fun
  6. "Batteries not included" on the box says it all
  7. 599 AUD is 329 Euros, or did I missed something here ? RRP for this set is 400 Euros
  8. Size approximation, 42146 for scale: Reference with other flagships:
  9. Personal opinion: the best Technic set of the year is Ideas Steam Boat
  10. With 40% off it would still cost 240 euros... With less functionality compared to non flagship 42142. 42175 has 100 parts less, pneumatics, Volvo license and RRP is 199 euros. You can buy it for 140 from retailers in Europe. Considering to grab 42175 and new volvo loader for 200-210 euros in total. I hope this set won't be the begining of the trend for heavy duty equipment to be nicely detailed but with half baked functions.
  11. We will never learn to manage our expectations with TLG ;)
  12. Hammer will be manual function with a knob? Only quick unlock of the tool will be automated.
  13. So many mixed emotions about this. It does look amazing. No control+ and motorised functions? Yay! No powered tracks and superstructure? What a bummer. And all this for 400 euros? The last motorised functions set was also licensed l, very complex Airbus Helicopter in 2022, for 200 euros and 300+ pieces less... I can't comprehend the value for money here. I might just went from a guaranteed purchase to a pass, even for 300 euros on a discount it feels overpriced for what if offer.
  14. I speculate Valkyrie will be Peugeot grey
  15. Wishful thinking is regulary emerging in 2025 thread, I guess that is part of this forum's nature. So I don't undersrand the complain here. It is not a good faith to micromanage when what and how (pay attention - I did not mention "where") members of the forum can and can't discuss as long as it is Technic related. Some members just self establish themselves above the others which they aren't. I agree with the only point - consistency of the threads should be maintained.
  16. I don't undestrand what is wrong with this thread, I believe this thread is exactly what it says: first information about 2026 sets. Where to discuss it without this thread? I believe separate "official" thread yet to be created for 2026 sets, I would be in a hurry if I were you...
  17. Lets leave bells and whistles for cars, we need functions and gears for Volvo excavator
  18. How much do you think Lego pneumatic pump or cylinder cost to manufacture after mold is already developed? Lego will stop making pneumatics if people will stop buying sets with pneumatics ;)
  19. Perhaps that gearbox on 11+ toy was not meant be put on the limits like it was done by some youtubers. Car is playable on lower gears. Just a nice representation of the complicated gearbox which unintentionally also displayed limits of the technic system. For me partly working Defender gearbox was still more impressive than the differential lock knob on the bottom of the G Wagon and simple gearbox. The rest is just a reskin.
  20. Technic flagship usually introduce something new or is loaded with (motorized) functions. Personally G Wagen does fall behind the Defender which was not a flagship in 2019 (but it was first timer off-road car with such complex gear box) so I don't consider it as a flagship material. Apollo Rover would be more flagship material but it is too niche. 2024 did not had a flagship, I guess we will get it every two years now.
  21. So by that logic last year's flagship was G Wagon or Apollo Rover.... Over McLaren. I am not concinced. Neither Apollo Rover or G Wagon fits into the shoes of flagship.
  22. TLG likes to add "the ***est" and here is a novelty, innovation, progress. For example, the widest Lego excavator ever! How about that.
  23. Description missing, but price is already with a discount - 339 euros
  24. My guess with managed expextations: Two "old" Technic hubs and 7 motors. Lego will empty their hubs and motors warehouse shelves with this set.
