I feel the issue I have with LAN is that the big YouTubers getting the sets don’t put time into their reviews on specific IPs and glaze over issues. HOWEVER it makes sense why they get these sets. Their channels are huge and bring plenty of attention. I enjoy LOTR but am not a super fan by any means. I got into LOTR as a kid thanks to Lego. If small channels that knew LOTR sets were the only ones reviewing them early I doubt I would even hear about these sets coming out. I feel like the system isn’t the best but it isn’t as awful as people say.

Someone on Instagram noted that it doesn't feel like a $500 set like Rivendell. I agree, Rivendell had a huge piece count because of the immaculate details which this tower seems to have as well. Neither feel like $500 sets to me (I know piece counts and what not but $400 feels like a better price) Wish Sam and Frodo hac different designs maybe orc ones? Gollum looks interesting too don't know about the glowing eyes though. I know a few star wars characters have that but idk if that fits him.

Oh I agree laketown displays are neat I quite like them now, heck I liked all the hobbit and LOTR sets. I got into LOTR through Lego sets funnily enough. Not even one sticks out as poor to me. Really wish LOTR and POTC would have come out when I was older. I would have bought the entirety of both lines day one. Don’t remember the last time I’ve wanted to buy an entire wave of a theme.

Heck I’d buy that gollum set, that sounds fun! Disagree about the hobbit sets lacking in design, which ones did? Kid me only found the laketown ones uninteresting I wanted every other set otherwise. spoiler: didn’t get any(((((

Eh this has always been a thing. Monster Fighter's and Atlantis had all the keys/rings in one of the bigger sets. Same with the old golden weapons.

Haven't bought a marvel set since the GOTG 2 lineup...will DEFINITELY pick up the new milano this year. It's gorgeous. I like the AoU sets a lot too (the OG ones hold a very special place in my heart) but other sets take priority at the moment.

On the topic of sails, how do paper sails work? I have no clue how to make custom sails and am going to try it with some paper and the 10210 sails on both sides. Atleast that's the plan. Any tips?

The new one is most likely a new mould then. Unfortunately they can't keep them around it, it would be too expensive

So excited! Day one buy There was an April fools leak yesterday on the LOTR subreddit and it sounded like the perfect wave. Balrog, treebeard, a little battle pack, a Gollum mech (lol), and a helms deep. Darn do I want a real line so bad!

One youtube video said it got pushed back to October and that's it. I'm still expecting to see it come out in June
