    I would prefer a deli and hardware store much more than a hat store and clock workshop in my opinion. Really killed my interest in the last two.

    Agreed! A deli sounds like a fun idea! I hope they have Jamie Berard make this one, one last hurrah if you will. The charm of his modulars has never been replicated as well, and it's been 10 years!

    My guess is two Haradrim and Legolas. I just hope the Legolas has an updated face print, my one wish at this point as I doubt we get more figures than that.

    BrickPerfection mentioned in the pirate discord that there a lot of pieces missing from the palette this time around. Quite a bit of them really. The build may be quite compromised because of this. I trust in his work however, the fortuna was just perfect, so I will support any of his work no matter what.

    These are lovely! The middle torso (from OP, correct?) works vey well. Love the fork too haha!

    I completely agree with you! Don't think there's any alternative to this however. Nanofigures dont do it for me personally.

    What are they meant to do otherwise?? This set is already the 7th (maybe 6th?) largest lego set of all time, don't think we can go any bigger! Yes the proportions aren't perfect but still is a very fun display, and can not believe how blessed we are to finally have Minis Tirith!

    I also am fully expecting a new Legolas face print. If they keep Han Solo's (already downgraded face) that would be ridiculous. Gandalf got a new faceprint so I have hope.

    Instructions for minis tirith leaked. Nothing interesting shown that we haven't seen but hey less than a month and a half away!

    Great torsos but the build is so poor. Wow what a downgrade!

    BDP shenanigans? What's the issue with it? A great way for fans to get sets from their favorite themes that Lego doesn't want to do. It's amazing!

    I feel that for the time the LOTR playsets were quite impressive design wise. Most still hold up quite well.

    I would love some hobbit sets too. I expect Helms Deep and Orthanc to be next. After I could see some hobbit sets if the sets are still selling well.

    Those were 14 years ago. They’re over $600+ on the aftermarket. Lego should absolutely make another helms deep as it is much more iconic compared to the other locations you listed.

    Finally got around to buying the balrog set....full retail price too. I did however not build the original set, instead I built this amazing alternative build from rebrickable. Very structurally sound and fun to put together! VERY happy with the results, I put mine next to the mines of moria. This is what I wanted when I first heard rumors of the set.     That time went 13 years ago. I don’t see Lego giving LOTR a chance of playsets ever again. Those sets were on clearance for what felt like most of their lifetime! It’s a shame but nothing we can really do about it. Either we get these D2C and gimmick sets or nothing at all. I prefer the former. Did you enjoy the build? I’m guessing by your excitement that you did))

    Agreed! I might build a moc one from rebrickable this year, I'm getting too impatient

    I'm not too surprised. Barad Dur came 15 months after Rivendell, which would be around December of this year or early next year. I have full faith we will be getting a flying dutchman eventually, do not fear!!

    Oh oops thought Rivendell and Barad Dur had similar designers slipped my mind.
