Why would it be an April fools joke? This is just grasping at straws at his point. The lego starwars sets revealed by the source are happening. I am certain this is being released. So much doom and gloom lol. Is anyone going to get that tricorn piece off of PAB online for their redcoats? Was interested in what others had to say.

After years of pirates being sidelined maybe I’ve become too naive but man do I believe this wholeheartedly!!! And if we only had one page relay this information I’d be much more skeptical. At this point im just waiting for the day I open instagram and see a leak of it :))))

I mean I don’t believe every rumour I hear but this guy has offered visual proof for some of his star wars claims. This is a lot more reliable than the everyday rumour. Idk I guess I prefer to be optimistic

If this set gets cancelled I’ll never post another eurobricks comment. I just don’t understand why people don’t believe this set is coming out. I was talking more about the speculation that this set will have red coats and that the set is planned to be released . It’s not like the employee said we’re getting a new flagship or something. They confirmed a previous rumour , they never said it was set in stone.

I’be already considered buying two fortresses, this would set it in stone 😂

I mean what do we expect? The employee worked in customer service iirc and had access to the images of the pieces in the set not the actual set. We didn’t see any leaks for the castle except for that drawn out image until Legocon 🤷🏼‍♂️ Which is really disappointing. Why not put the big names players such as CR7, Messi, Lewa etc. That would sell like CRAZY

If you scroll back in the thread there is multiple comments talking about how they have reached out to him. FluffySky6 on Reddit. He is the source for the swamp speeder, gunship, venator and the fort.

My dream as well! There is a really impressive MOC done by Dreambrickstudios of elderado (pretty sure that’s his name) and there is an amazing system of tunnels. Really hope it opens up like a doll house with secret passage ways like the castle

I'm a little confused by people's speculation on whether the set is coming or not. It is. The former Lego employee confirmed it and his prediction of that swamp speeder with vaughn was indeed correct so I have no doubt about the fort. I don't think we should be worried about that at all.We also know that the soldiers are gong to be blue coats, it was already figured out previously in this thread as that same employee stated that the set includes multiple blue coat torsos with a similar figure count to the original set. I'm more concerned about how large the buildings of the fort are going to be as it's only 2k+ pieces meaning if a lot of them are used on terrain we might end up with minimally decorated/fleshed out buildings :((((

I definitely see both sides of the coin where it could hinder or not affect it at all. If the BL sets aren't an absolute MUST need (pirates/castle) then I'll just put my money to get the new MMV and D&D set earlier. I'll only drop a bag on the BL sets if they are MUST needs like a flagship/ black falcon fort etc

That kind of sucks considering we're being STARVED of pirate sets. I know we have this awesome fort coming out and 31109 is widely available but I want more DX

Does anyone think that this set being released may potentially hinder the release of pirates sets in the BL designer program in February?

I used to stare at boxes for hours at stores not being able to afford them. Now that I can I always save my boxes, maybe they are a little creased an dented but it still feels special owning them. Once I have a house, I'll set up a mini Lego store in one room with all of my boxes XD

I really appreciate it thank you, you seem very kind and it means a lot :) it hasn't been easy but I've found outlets like work and Lego ofc. I understand how blessed I am especially considering what horrors other have to face over there. Sorry for going off topic

Oh yeah, one day I hope I will collect all of the 2009-10 pirate sets. I wasn't able to afford a lot of the old sets from my childhood and have recently been picking up sets from that era to fill a gap in my childhood. I had a fantastic childhood even with a smaller amount of sets but now I have them to remind me of those good old times:). The simplicity of those sets is visible but it feels so nostalgic that I also love it! But I welcome beautifully designed ships like the PoBB! Yes, it is very difficult I am unable to see my family or travel there for potentially the next 10 years. I'm scared of what's going on and am ashamed of it and potentially not seeing some of my family for a very long time is also very heartbreaking. I live in Texas currently.

sweet gonna get a ton when they drop on PAB!!! I remember I was 4 when my dad brought a Lego catalog back home from work I drooled over the bounty. Got it for Christmas that year. I go to college in four months :(

so true didn't even consider that thank you! Yeah 2009 pirates was my first pirate experience and it's so nostalgic for me. My brick bounty traveled to the US and back many times. The crew has been lost except for the admiral's daughter, mermaid, and, of course brickbeard himself! I got another copy of the bounty last year with all the pieces in mint condition and sealed sails for free! Very happy about it because my og one is back in russia and I don't know when I can get it back.

I think 500 of the 2500 pieces could easily be used for terrain etc. For example, the castle has that rocky terrain but also has an interior for the dungeon! Maybe something similar? Might get some blue torsos in bulk as soon as pictures drop to boost my imperial army. I prefer the red ones but have lost most of my OG ones from 2009 over the years. Have about 4 left not counting the POTC ones. Might make them into marines or just put the rest of the redcoats into my potc display. We shall see
