  1. Jaime Reyes, Bumblebee, Jay Garrick, and Mr Miracle have all been members of the Justice League and Cyborg, although based on the Teen Titans version, had already been covered by that point. Legion of Superheroes I’ll give you. I forgot about them. But it’s not like they even made it into sets.
  2. I swear this is how every Lego DC set is designed.
  3. There’s a chance you could get Comic Deadpool in January. You could also get him right now, if you’re willing to drop upwards of $30. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?M=sh032&name=Deadpool&category=[Super Heroes][X-Men]#T=S&O={%22iconly%22:0}
  4. Because Lego is made from little plastic bricks, the turn around time for cheap Chinese knockoffs isn’t as long as it is for other products with unique tons of unique molds. The reason they hesitate so long is to make sure the knockoffs don’t beat them to the punch.
  5. All 🗑️. Now, please, can we get back to discussing Green Lantern and Superman?
  6. These look pretty cool. https://calypsocustoms.com/products/minifigure-display-case-green-lantern-insert-card
  7. In all fairness, that’s largely been out of Lego’s control. As recently as 2020, X-Men were off limit. Lego couldn’t even sneak Iceman in the Daily Bugle. And now that they are back on the table, it’s been years since they’ve had a movie, much less one that was successful and not R-rated. And despite how much I personally wish we got more sets for the show, and despite how well it’s been doing, there was a risk involved in going all out. And Lego is putting out a $300 set which is pretty crazy for a (as of a month ago, unproven) tv series, which is pretty bold. In short, I understand the frustration. The X-Men are my favorite comic book characters. But there’s reasons why we’ve barely seen them in Lego form. And hopefully that will change very soon.
  8. https://dcextendeduniverse.fandom.com/wiki/Lanterns#:~:text=Lanterns is an upcoming American,Monsters in the DC Universe.
  9. With the Green Lantern TV series on the way, we’re discussing what awesome Green Lantern earth-based villains we could be getting. Which Green Lantern villain is your favorite?
  10. I can’t believe everyone forgot that Hal’s greatest enemy has never even left the planet Earth.
  11. Here are all the scenarios where we will not get Lego sets for Spider-Man 4. everyone on Earth dies
  12. I hope for your sake that no one answers this question.
  13. This just proves what I am saying. WB dropped Batman during COVID because they didn’t have faith in it doing well. And it didn’t. It made less money than Aquaman. And now Batman part 2 is being delayed because WB is prioritizing Superman over it. Superman gets a cartoon that’s going on its second season while the Batman cartoon got sold off. It’s clear what is going on. Audiences don’t want any more of that lame guy in a bat Halloween costume. The people want the superior super powered alien man who actually has powers. Lego will follow suit I think. No more Batman sets ever again. We can only hope. In fact, I think there’s a good chance DC will get rid of Batman altogether.
  14. It didn’t make a billion like the last two did. Aquaman made more than double Batman. Audiences are tired of Batman and it shows.
  15. Baxter Building? We haven’t even gotten a single solitary member of the Fantastic Four. Hopefully. Season 2 will probably hit next year so maybe we’ll some sets for that. I know Lego doesn’t typically do sets based on shows, but X-Men has been doing really well.
  16. Look at the titles. No Batman mentioned after Batman v Superman. Clearly WB realizes audiences do not want anymore Batman. Hopefully Lego will follow suit soon. Maybe they will even start taking away people’s Lego Batman sets. We can only hope.
  17. Watch Aquaman, Shazam, The Suicide Squad, and Superman. They all better than anything with Batman (and it’s not even close.) Figures that the only good thing Batman related was stolen from the far superior Lord of the Rings franchise. They tried that last year with Flash and it backfired spectacularly. DC should have taken the hint that nobody wants Batman anymore.
  18. Lego making Magneto the villain in every X-Men set is a fun little nod to the X-Men movies.
  19. Batman sets have been on the decline for the past five years, which is an indication that people lack interest in Batman. I think there’s a good chance that post Superman (2025), we’ll see Lego abandon Batman altogether and focus the theme around Superman. Especially with Supergirl set to release in 2026, it seems like the right time to shift the focus away from Batman. In other words, it’s time to Make Lego Super Again!
  20. DC already went full Marvel in the sense that 90% of the sets are movie based. It’s just less obvious because we barely get anything.
  21. Daredevil probably won’t be covered in the CMF since it’s TV-MA.
  22. X-Mansion lineup is pretty much as was expected. Hopefully Jubilee and Nightcrawler find their way into sets or a CMF next year. (I strongly disagree that Nightcrawler needs the CMF treatment. Existing tail and hair molded ib blue and new torso and head prints are all he really needs. That’s not a lot to ask for in a regular set and there are so many other characters that really need the CMF treatment over him.) It would also be great if we got new legs for Cyclops and Morph, better hair for Rogue, a lab coat for Beast, and classic Magneto. What are the odds we get a Sentinel GWP featuring Jubilee?
