  1. He’s learned his lesson from last time.
  2. I definitely see Gambit now that you point out the staff. (I thought it was a telepathically constructed chainsaw Jean had for no apparent reason). I still maintain that is Magneto beneath Storm. The character appears to be wearing a cape that is the same color as the Sentinel. And it looks like there’s electricity coming from their hands. It’s gotta be him. No idea who that could be on the motorcycle if not Gambit. Maybe Wolverine?
  3. Kinda hilarious how 1) the X-Mansion leaked several months early 2) it’s not the first time it leaked. It’s difficult to make anything out, but it looks like that might be Jean at the top with the hairpiece Magneto used in the X-Jet. Bottom middle looks like Cyclops based on the eye beams, and unfortunately it looks like he has plain legs. Again, don’t quote me. Image is pretty terrible. Edit: I think that’s Magento right below Storm. Looks like it might be the classic version. Edit 2: Definitely impressed by what I can make out. Sentinel looks to be a massive improvement over the last one and the Mansion looks like it will be a huge improvement over the one in the leaks. Edit 3: looks like there’s someone on a motorcycle in front of the Sentinel. Maybe Gambit? Edit 4: I think that’s Prof X in his hoverchair in the middle. IMO, this is more fun than getting a good image. 🤣
  4. I doubt this Disney+ special is a hint at things to come. That said, it does look like Lego is focusing more on comic Avengers figures this wave. So I guess the smaller comic based sets they’ve been releasing have been doing well. If I were a betting man, I’d say we’re going to see new comic based versions of Thor, Captain America, and Loki this year (maybe a small Avengers base and Captain America with a bike?) and then a Captain America mech with either Red Skull or Baron Zemo in 2026.
  5. This last sentence sums it up so well. DC’s continuity has always been kind of a mess. Consider, for example, Silver Age Flash. Pre-Crisis, Keystone City and Jay Garrick were on Earth-2. Post-Crisis, they were always on Earth-Prime. Yet, somehow, the events of Silver Age Flash were canon, Post-Crisis. Or look at Justice League. Post Crisis, Batman and Superman retained their histories, by and large. But Wonder Woman, who was a part of their history, was fresh off of Paradise Island Post-Crisis. It’s the same deal here. Some things carry over. Some don’t. If anything, Gunn is making a cleaner break because most of the earlier stuff isn’t canon. It’s just his stuff, with minor tweaks to remove connections to the rest of the DCEU.
  6. Ah, my bad, I misread your post. Yeah, I’d bet good money on it being the same Iron Man from the past few years. And the same Hulk. But at least we’re getting new comic accurate version of Red Hulk, Ultron, and probably Black Panther (I’m assuming the 2020 version is out of production by now).
  7. Mid November. That’s when we usually see set leaks.
  8. I think they’ll use the Ant-Man helmet, to replicate the antennas on the sides of his head.
  9. Per exabricks, the minifigures in the Ironman vs Ultron and Iron Man and Black Panther vs Red Hulk sets are comic based.
  10. This would be great, but I don’t see it happening. If there was another figure, we’d probably hear something about that. Besides, there’s not a good way to pull of The Leader’s head without a new mold and Lego is allergic to new mold for Marvel (unless it’s a helmet for Iron Man).
  11. The problem is it’s difficult to judge whether or not Thing will be a bigfig because Lego isn’t consistent with who they choose to make big figs versus regular minifigures. Thanos, Hulk, Lizard, and Korg are all around the same size. But two of them are big figs and two of them are regular minifigures.
  12. Mr Fantastic, The Thing, and Invisible Woman with the Fantasticar for $100. Take it or leave it.
  13. No courthouse, no attorneys, no mention of a jury, but yet there is one solitary judge passing down sentences on the many, many criminals. Apparently, there is no innocent until proven guilty, or even guilty until proven innocent. Civilians are simply arrested and sentenced with no chance to defend themselves. Lego City is beyond hope. Demolition Dummy is right. It’s time to tear the whole thing down, brick by brick.
  14. Yeah, the Deadpool conservation get picked up every few weeks still. Right now though, it’s all Doom and gloom.
  15. Endgame Final Battle set Hall of Armor All we need now is a couple of Venomized figures, a $80 Fantasticar, and Galactus to be completely skipped.
  16. Don’t mean to go on-topic, but there’s a new Penguin trailer and it looks great. Between this, Creature Commandos, and Joker Folie a Duex, it looks like DC is really gonna kill it later this year. edit: Kill it, as in, make great content. Not kill this theme one and for all. Thought I’d specify for obvious reasons.
  17. Please, guys, let’s not get distracted by going on-topic. How did Brickheads Joker get to be so powerful? My theory: he has been using the Mars Mission crystals to increase his power. But what happened to the aliens? Why don’t we see them anymore? Did Brickheads Joker commit genocide against the martians? Is Martian Manhunter out there somewhere awaiting his chance to avenge his people? 🤔
  18. Am I the only one tired of the endless Endgame final battle sets? My own opinions on Endgame aside (I don’t like it), it’s just a bunch of characters fighting in a big gray crater. It’s not that interesting visually and we keep getting repeats of the same characters. There’s so much else they could be doing with the Infinity Saga line, much less the theme as a whole.
  19. Phenomenal trailer. Such a shame we probably won’t ever see any of them in minifigure form. 😔
  20. Kids know who Deadpool is, especially 12-14 year old boys, which is Lego’s target age group.
  21. Exabricks has a picture of the booth up on their insta with the X-Men art someone previously mentioned. There’s a display in the back. But given the wording above, I seriously doubt they’ll stick the mansion there. Sounds like we might see something Spider-Man related. Possibly just sets that are already out.
  22. That’s disappointing. I’d rather get a comic based Spot, but oh well. He’ll fit in well enough.
  23. Ignore this man. I think all the Lego he’s eaten has messed with his brain.
  24. I wouldn’t get your hopes up. It’s been ages since Lego has unveiled a new superhero set at SDCC. Most superhero sets don’t get revealed more than a month out, and seeing as it’s only July and the X-Mansion comes out in November, we’ve got a long wait ahead of us.
  25. Have we considered that MAYBE the reason Superman now needs a mech is because Brickhead “Big Boss” Joker has taken away his powers?
