  1. Personally, I’d go with steamroller Joker. I don’t like the torso and the fedora just doesn’t look good without the hair underneath.
  2. “worst Joker minifgure” They never made a minifgure for Jared Leto Joker.
  3. Why does Venom have a car in NYC? How can he afford a car on a reporter’s salary? Didn’t he get laid off? Is J Jonah Jameson and/or Norman Osborn just giving out free money to anyone who promises to beat up Spider-Man? 🤔
  4. https://www.instagram.com/p/C-VVPVmJC_P/?igsh=dDM3cTJ1cHg4eGRw New X-Men Fortnite figures. That Cyclops hurts my soul. We’ve officially talked more about Lego DC here than over on the actual DC thread.
  5. Ah. I’m not surprised it’s Black Panther. I am disappointed we didn’t get another Vision. It’s been since, what, 2019 since we last got a Vision in a set that isn’t $500? (Not counting Albino Vision.)
  6. That’s why I suggested something magnitudes more edible. 😊😝 MTDbricks has a new figure list for the Civil War airport battle. Spider-Man, Falcon, and Bucky are the new recruits. Not sure what happened to figure #8.
  7. Will you eat a newspaper if it is the Daily Planet? 😁
  8. Delete this before it becomes an official Lego set.
  9. Not true. There’s plenty of Batman and Joker modulars they can make. In fact, they even start Jokerizing popular DC characters the way they’ve been Venomizing everyone.
  10. IMO, there’s much more potential for DC Modular’s at this point than there is for Marvel. Sure, there’s locations Lego could do like Asgard, Wakanda, and Tony’s Malibu Mansion. But none of them really lend themselves well to the modular style, IMO. Then there are buildings left, like Oscorp, the Baxter Building, Avenger’s Mansion, Avenger’s Compund, and Foggy and Nelson. But only a few of them are iconic enough to justify a modular. Meanwhile DC has Lexcorp, The Daily Planet, Arkham Asylum, Wayne Mansion (yeah, I get the argument for these last two not being modular but if they can do the X-Mansion as a modular, then they can do Arkham and Wayne Manor), Wayne Tower, Star Labs, The Flash Museum. tl;dr, I’d rather DC get some love with the modulars for a while.
  11. https://www.instagram.com/p/C-KqASkobDt/?igsh=MWZjbnhrN2tpdDdycQ== For anyone who likes Lego DC but wishes it had more Batman and Joker. I wouldn’t rule out a Daily Planet modular building, but with that said, I’d be surprised if our first DC modular wasn’t Batman related. My best guess though would be a large scale The Bat. That seems to be the last Batman vehicle from a popular Batman movie (that isn’t the Batmobile from The Batman (I think that’ll release alongside the next movie)) that hasn’t been done at that scale yet.
  12. Agreed. Rogue desperately needs dual molded arms and legs and a new hairpiece. I like the torso print, so I wouldn’t want that changed. The rest though, plenty of room for improvement. I wonder what the odds of us getting an X-Men ‘97 CMF are, seeing as there’s not much else from Disney+ being released. Probably not gonna happen, but I can dream.
  13. But what about a Duplo Deadpool set? 🤔
  14. So, given we can’t find Bishop (maybe just because the pictures are mega blocks) and we had another list of figures a while back that is different (no, not that 2014 one that was obviously fake), I’m gonna go out on a limb and say there’s a handful of figures that aren’t being shown. So, this is just speculation on my part, but here’s the other characters I think will be included (in order from most to least likely). Beast with a lab coat. One of the most obvious rooms to include in the mansion is a lab for Beast. It wouldn’t make sense to include that and no Beast. Plus, he only needs a new lab coat torso print. Magneto. For all intents and purposes this is the big X-Men set. I can’t see them skipping the big villain. I could them just reusing the X-Jet figure, but if they want to keep that exclusive, they just need a new torso and a new helmet mold (assuming they can’t bring back the old one). Morph. The only other character that was on the last list not included here. Allows them to recycle the expensive new legs for Cyclops. Only needs a new head and torso. Plus, they can include alternate existing pieces for “playability.” Kitty Pryde. Yes, she’s not in X-Men 97. Neither is Iceman (If it weren’t for his inclusion, I wouldn’t be considering it. But it seems Lego and Marvel are open to other X-Men appearing here). She’s one of the most popular characters and a lot of fans’ favorite. She only needs a new torso print (specifically the yellow outfit). And they can reuse the new dragon mold from Dungeons and Dragons. Also, adds some diversity since she’s a woman and that seems to be a factor Lego considers when designing sets (if you have a problem with that, bring it over to the DC thread. 😝) Angel. Allows them to round out the founding five and reuse the wings from D&D. Only needs a new head and torso. Also a rather popular character. Now, the obvious picks I don’t see happening are: Jubilee (saved for CMF due to complexity), Nightcrawler (same deal), and Deadpool (go read through the past 85 pages, the case against him happening has been made numerous times).
  15. Posts like this are why we need a like button for posts. 🤣 Here’s my ideas for a spring wave (never gonna happen): Curse of the Goblin Queen ($40) Goblinfied X-Mansion scenery Cyclops (s1) Goblin Queen Mr Sinister Sentinel Attack ($70) Buildable Sentinel x2 Bolivar Trask Storm (s1) Cyclops (s1) Wolverine (s1) Gambit (s1) Battle for Asteroid M ($120) Modified Shiar Spaceship Asteroid M scenery Magneto Sunspot Rogue (s2) Bastion Prof X (s2) Cyclops (s2) Nightcrawler Wolverine (s2) Jubilee (s2) And then one final set over the summer featuring Apocalypse with some X-Men, based on season 2.
  16. This is the second time the X-Mansion has leaked way sooner than anyone expected with an image that looks nothing like the final product. Easily a top 10 Lego X-Men running gag.
  17. It’s either this or we let the thread devolve into thirty pages of wishlists, Lego lore, and arguments about whether or not gender swapping characters is allowable. 😁😝
  18. Thanks! I’m not making Iceman or Rogue. And I still think the looks like Magneto just below Storm. Odd that he’s not mentioned. Maybe it’s Jean? Hard to make out, tbh. Edit: apparently there’s three images out there. Yeah, I definitely see Iceman and Rogue (looks like Morph tbh) in that one Wesker is talking about. Also gonna say that’s Jean beneath Storm. Which just leaves Bishop to be found.
  19. Can I get a hint on how to find the image?
  20. Didn’t see that part about Cyclops having printed legs before. That’s good news. Hopefully it’s on the already existing dual molded blue and yellow legs, instead of solid blue or solid yellow legs.
  21. This does match the image, as far as we can tell (although, I still think that’s Magento in the front). But it doesn’t match the list we had before. The previous list included Morph, Magneto, and Beast but didn’t include Bishop or Iceman. Frankly, I much prefer this new list. Iceman and Bishop over Morph and two repeats is a massive win IMO. Of course, it could still be Morph instead of Iceman and someone saw the white head and just assumed it was Iceman. IMO, that seems more likely considering this is based on the show. But Bishop is a great inclusion, nonetheless. Per exabricks, the set is $330 and 3093 pieces, which is much better than $400 as was previously rumored.
  22. I can’t say I agree on Nightcrawler needing to be a CMF figure. He just needs two pieces (the demon tail from a previous CMF and the elf hair from Friends) recolored. The red bands on his gloves and boots aren’t all that essential to his look. And the dual molded piece for his boots already exists.
  23. I real hope the reason Jubilee is skipping school is because she’s going to appear in the CMF since that’s the only way to do her justice. Bishop and Cable would both make more sense as CMF figures too. The other thing I really want is more villains. Ideally, we’d see that Sentinel in a set with a couple of X-Men and Bastion or Trask. A second set based on the Goblin Queen episode with Cyclops, Sinister and the Goblin Queen. And then a third set based on season 2 with Apocalypse and some of those Claremont era X-Men designs.
  24. I really hope that Sentinel gets recycled in a smaller set next year. I need a small army of them, and it’s easier to buy multiple sets than Bricklink the parts. (Although, based on the X-Jet, I can’t see that Sentinel going for less than $100 😝.) Actually, I just hope we get anything X-Men related next year. I’ll take anything. And I mean anything. Nightcrawler’s speedboat. Cyclop’s monster truck. Rogue’s helicopter. I don’t care how stupid it is. Just give me more X-Men.
