  1. The Malibu Mansion leaked turned out to be a fake and the Nolan Batcave rumor was from the same source.
  2. I liked it. But I’m very clearly in the minority. If you didn’t like it with a half hour left, your opinion wasn’t going to improve if you stayed.
  3. Dang. I just finishing clearing off shelf space next to my Tower of Fate. 😔
  4. I swear to god if it’s in another stupid box…
  5. I hope it’s Rivendell styled. There’s so many locations in Marvel and (especially) DC that would work so much better in that style as opposed to the Modular styled buildings we’ve been getting (Asgard, Avenger’s Compound, Arkham Asylum, Wayne Manor, The Batcave (non-Shadowbox), Hall of Doom, Watchtower, Fortress of Solitude, etc). Regardless of whether or not this rumor is true, I hope we get to see more locations in that style going forward.
  6. Malibu Mansion is an interesting choice. I wonder if that’ll be the years modular building or if we’re getting 3 large superhero buildings in 12 months. (I’d say something about us getting two mansions in less than 6, but the X-Mansion and Malibu Mansion are very distinct).
  7. Someone posted a leak of his torso. Turned out it was a custom minifigure.
  8. I’ll never understand why TTG in general didn’t get any love from Lego. For a couple of years, that show was all over CN and seemed to be popular with Lego’s target audience.
  9. I’d recommend checking Lego Leaks Reddit over instagram. The sorting algorithm for instagram does a terrible job at showing recent news.
  10. Gray Lantern is the closest, but its technically apathy not depression.
  11. That’s great news. Maybe now we can start getting Robin in sets again. Oh, don’t you worry. If there’s one thing DC is good at, it’s making Batman related things.
  12. Don’t take it personally. Your list sounds like what we could reasonably expect. I’m just tired of buildable objects and construction figures.
  13. Alright guys, now that the secret is out, I can spill the beans on upcoming Superman sets. Now, keep in mind, my source is completely legit so anyone who says otherwise is wrong, stupid, and most likely a serial killer. 73012: Superman Brickheadz ($50) This set will be a Superman Brickheadz with a fun twist. Superman will be dressed as Batman. 73016: The Batmobile featuring Superman vs the Joker ($120) The set should include a Batmobile, Joker, and Superman dressed as Batman 73018: The Batcave with Superman and Lex Luthor 4+ ($100) This set will be 4+. Included are a Batcave, Batmobile, Superman dressed as The Joker and Lex Luthor dressed as Batman 73028: The Batmobile with Superman ($800) This will include a UCS scaled Batmobile with a Superman dressed as Batman minifigure.
  14. Reduced to a pen pal, because Lego won’t give him back his super friends. 😔
  15. The worst part is I could see it happening.
  16. Somewhere in the Lego Multiverse, there is a universe where collectors are ecstatic that Venom has appeared again after being absent for 10 years.
  17. I don’t picture Magento and Electro getting along. https://marvelanimated.fandom.com/wiki/Electro
  18. I wonder if this opens up the possibility for a comic based Baxter building as next year’s D2C. There’s certainly more opportunity for figures with a comic based version than a movie based version (Dr Doom, Spider-Man, Namor, Super Skrull, Mole Man are all character that could be thrown in for a comic set that wouldn’t work for a MCU based set).
  19. It does make a difference in terms of how the figures will look. In the movie, the Fantastic Four have their white and blue suits. Their costumes have horizontal lines on the chest, white arms, and much more detailed belts than in the comics. Being comic based means the designs will be simpler and it opens up the possibility for the more recognizable blue and black costumes. We haven’t gotten a good look at Galactus in the movie, but from what we have seen his color scheme appears to be very muted, which isn’t all that surprising since the MCU tends to do that with most character designs.
  20. Lego Marvel thread: OMG, comic based Fantastic Four?! Awesome!!! Lego DC thread: Hey guys, what are the odds that Superman actually comes in the Superman mech? *question gets lost in Aslume talk*
  21. I didn’t think we would ever get a leak as crazy as that survey leak last year. I have been proven wrong. I look forward to see what craziness Lego leakers have in store for us next year.
  22. Wait, what? Hopefully this is true. Comic based versions would be fantastic.
  23. So, for the rest of the year, we have sets 76300, 76304, 76312, 76315, 76316, 76317, 76319, 76320, 76321, 76322, 76323, 76324, 76325, 76326, 76327, and 76329. We know two of those sets are Endgame Final battle and Hall of Armor and then one other is for a movie. So that’s 3/16 accounted for. In the past few years we’ve gotten 6-8 legacy sets per year and we already have 3 accounted for. So let’s say another 5 of those are legacy. We typically get 3 buildable figures, 3 buildable objects (we already have the logo, so let’s say another 2). and 3 D2C sets (split between Marvel and DC). That’s 13. So, barring additional sets, I’m guessing that’s gonna be the rough breakdown for the rest of the year with maybe a couple of those legacy sets going to Superman.
  24. Half of these have been revealed. The other half are Marvel.
