Roni seemed to ease up a bit with Alexandre's presence. "Mommy... said the name "Arthur", sometimes." -

"This is easy, far too easy. We already have 2 of the summoning amulets and the 3rd one is before us. I smell a trap." -

"I'm... *wheeze* not quite sure... Her mother came to Heroica Hall once... and some *cough* blue mage got really angry at the mother because of this girl. I dunno why." The timid child speaks again. "...I'm Roni." -
Finalized list of Galaxy squad sets wanted: >Vermin Vaporizer (Christmas) >Space Swarmer (Christmas) >Swarm Interceptor (Birthday?) >Warp Stinger (Birthday) This way I get 4 different alien vehicles, 2 Buggoids, 2 Mosquitoids, the robots and the heroes for the Red, Blue, and Green teams. (No interest in Orange team.) I maaaayy get the Star Slicer at a later date, because I like that red Buggoid and those arm pieces: I need to see more reviews first.

QM Note: my normal rig is dangerously close to wetting the bed after 8 years... so there may be a day or two in the future where I may not be able to update. Sorry, folks. ;blush: With their destination chosen, the party marches up the oak steps. They notice that they were plated in gold tile... clearly the name Rihts was not a misnomer. Reaching the intersection, they go straight and open up a door. Heading inside, they find themselves in a dark room. It was slightly dusty, but immaculate nonetheless. the store room is littered with various stands, boxes, safes... and a 3 year old girl...? She stands in the center room, trying on a pink dress - one of the chests is slightly ajar, suggesting that is where the child got her new garbs. She displays a timid smile and a curious glow in her eyes. Punii recognizes the young girl instantly. "Waitwhoa*wheezewheeze*whaaaat. Has sanity decided now would be a good time to take a vacation?!" "Hewwo." -
Probably because of the increasing intensity. I sure as hell know I started getting worried and started hurrying up when Gooper Blooper started doubling, then tripling, his attack power (after every phase of music): to the point where he had an insta-kill move.

"Well, uh, I'm kinda sorta under house arrest, so I don't really have anything to write with. But, I can do it verbally... -Up those flights of stairs is an intersection -My hubbie is in the Ballroom, to the left -The Master Bedroom is to the right -Our auxiliary storeroom is straight (there isn't that much important stuff in there, so take what you like.) The Riht's family specializes in men and women's clothing. Some say it even imbues people with powers..." -

The shaken woman calms down. "Oh thank goodness! Deep breaths, deep breaths... Okay. I'm Mrs. Rihts. Our lovely manor has been overran by these... things... for the past two days. My maids have been killed in the green fellow's target practice, my son and daughter are bound and gagged somewhere, and my husband is next on the chopping block! I'm not sure about you, but this is worst then any nightmare I've ever had!" The woman looks dangerously close to breaking down into a fit of sobbing. -
Being the type of person who enjoys putting things in wirting, I have more wasted sheets of paper plannning quets then I'd like to admit to. The only concept I'm still throwing around involves a "Midas Menace" in Eubric.

Wasn't their also a big war quest? I'd personally prefer Guffington.

I seem to remember you would have a giant finale questwhen all (3? Maybe 4?) of your plotlines reach their end. I await it eagerly.

Punii looks awestruck at Galen and his intricate scrawlings as he keys in the solution with his tail. "Well *wheeze*... wow!" Punii slides the green cartridge out of slots, and the bomb instantly falls to pieces. The explosive device recued to scrap metal, the party forges along the damp path. They come across a small maintenace door on the side of the manor. After jimmying the lock, the head inside and find... "Please tell me you aren't under progg employ. Please please please. Lie if you have to." -

QM Note: Well done, Galen! I have school (Double bleh) so I'll move this along this afternoon. Also note I have made several typos. This is the RIHT'S manor, not the DINI manor. -

"I'm afraid I'm quite done playing nice. Might as well demonstrate the ethereal powers I have acquired." Before the party can fully digest Aquos's last statement, he slams a tentacle onto the ground right behind Galen. A wall of stone emerges from the ground right behind the turbanned rogue, isolating him. With a wicked laugh, Aquos grabs Galen in a choke hold, one of his tentacles wrapped firmly around the rogue's neck. His prey struggling for air, the aquatic pats down Galen until he finds his egg. Swiping it, he proceeds slams Galen face first into the the wall of the Rihts manor, his face leaving a shallow impression on the wall. Aquos then throws him into the rock wall with all his might, the stone structure crumbling as it is hit with the human projectile. Galen was reduced to a bloodied pulp, nearly unconscious. Aquos produces an odd steel box that had several wires poking out of it from behind him. "Do you know what this is, Punii? My brother told me all about you, by the by. You look less like a bomber and more like a decent appetizer to me, honestly." Punii instantly recognizes what the odd device is and gasps. "You... how? A bomb?!" "Yes, yes! Very good! That bomber you killed earlier made it for me." Coiling one of his slimy tentacles around the explosive device, the tentacle suddenly springs out, whiplike -directly into one of the Dini Manor support posts. The bomb had embedded itslef into the support! "Well, egg: check. Bomb planted? Check. Well, I have done everything I have needed to here. I'd like to say it was a pleasure meeting you... but it was the opposite, really. Tah-tah." With that, Aquos gracefully dives back into the water, swimming effortlessly and quickly just underneath the pond's surface - the beast had escaped. The party, injured Galen in tow, rush over to the implanted device. "If *wheeze* that thing goes off, the entire Rihts manor will go toppling *cough* into the pond...! Though, I may be able to defuse" it..." Punii's Bomb Defusal "Okay, here is the rundown. -Blue pieces can only move left and right. -Red pieces *wheeze* can only move up and down. -And that green piece can only move left and right. So, *cough* what we want to do is slide the green piece out of the bomb by shifting all the other pieces around. We *cough* only get 75 moves before this thing explodes in our faces." -
Wow, Seductive Perfume looks really powerful. Give me a little time and I'll have the next portion of 48 up, questies!

"Let me tell you something, turbaned Rogue. I am completely blind. Was born blind, been blind for over 1,000 years. But my hearing is impeccable. I can hear an ant's back breaking in Eubric for Mythrogg's sake. I heard your conversation. And we have not yet lost, nor shall we ever.. As long as I and Eidolon stand, the Proggs shall prosper. You already heard the spiel from Beatrice: we breed faster then rabbits. When you are disptached, the rest of heroica will burn at the progg's hands... then Uland will be ripe for the picking. Oh, the carnage. The beautiful slaughter of every inferior species on this wretched rock! I have no intentions of leaving Luosh." Beatrice seems a bit revolted by what Galen whispered into her ear-vicinity. "No thanks! Aquos here already made me his involuntary harem... never again!" Beatrice shudders. -

"Is this the part where I completely unveil my sinister, dastardly plan? Then laugh maniacally? Perhaps I should grow a handlebar mustache and don an eyepatch, too! On second thought, I am blind, so the eyepatch would be a bit superfluous. Perhaps if you give me back my heir, you'll get a few more words of wisdom from me... before a beat you to death." Will the party hand Aquos's egg over? -

Aquos's tail continues to thump rhythmically. Odd... "I have no intention of doing such thing, druid. You see, every second you keep my heir away from me, that is one second more I'll keep you alive while strangling and drowning you. Just to prolong the pain, you know? But first, I'll probably kill off any of your allies - I have no intention of repeating my younger brother's mistakes. Speaking of poor Rhodus, I humbly request you stop killing or abducting my family. It has gotten old. Oh, and the underwater palace. Rihts manor is pretty well built, the fool must've sunk at least 50,000 gold or so into it. All it has does is fall Sapphire Pond, and it will be complete." -
