One question: I see four Republic ensigna stickers on the SS, but I can only spot two being used. Does this mean they are spare ones? That would be useful for Republic vehicle MOCs.

Even though I am a huge CW fan, I cannot deny that 10188 Death Star is porbably the best LSW set ever. I have not and will never get it since I need the money for the CW sets, but I sure like the looks of it! It has so many minifigs and so much playability. I am surprised that the RGS has gotten so many more votes than the DS. But that may just be because I don't have that one yet either. Who knows, maybe after I get it, I'll change my mind about the set of the year.

Oh no! Anakin has gone over to the green side of the force! Well, I guess someone had to review the Clunkadunk eventually. And you did a good job at it, svelte corps! I liked the punchline with the Ahsoka-hairpiece swapping. The "Ugha warrior upgrade" is an interesting way of creating male Togrutas. And Ahsoka looks even hotter with Inferno's hair! I wouldn't count on it. Wookieepedia says so, and you can see it in one of the trailers. So, I guess the Twilight will stay mostly unbought. Poor Clunkadunk.

Alright, for the last freaking time: This is the alien dude we assume to be in the rumored AAT set: General Whorm Loathsom (I hope the link works this time. It's from Wookieepedia.) A picture of him sitting in an AAT as seen in the new CW movie, the source for the assumption: I wonder how TLG would make a hunchbacked guy like him.

Hehe, that would be neat indeed! But I think there would have to be more different commanders for this to work. We only have three, and one of them is a captain.

Mack leaped out of the corner they were hiding in, grabed the hose, and ripped it off the wall. Immediately, water started shooting out of it, so Mack aimed it at the battle droids. The ones that were hit by the water short-circuited and exploded. Wave after wave of droids, Mack hosed them down until he had taken most of them out. But when there was still a bunch left, he suddenly ran out of water. With the droids starting to fire again, Mack quickly went back into hiding. "Damn! Anyone got another plan?" he asked the others. "I think I do" said Oky Wan. "Everyone, get together - I want to make a holo-picture of us." "But how is this going to..." Thok began to say. "Just do it!" urged him Jim, and they did as they were told, while Oky Wan took out a compact holoprojector with built-in camera. He took a picture of them all and afterwards pressed a button on the device. They were now looking at life-size replicas of themselves that were coming out of the projector. With a flick of his hand, Oky Wan threw it into the prison cell that Thok was just stuck in. Believing that these were the real Oky Wan, Mack, Jim, and Thok, the droids kept moving toward the holograms. After a while, all of the battle droids were in the cell. In that moment, Oky Wan jumped over to the control panel and reconnected the wires that he had cut before, which reactivated the deflector shield, trapping the droids inside the cell. "We are trapped" "Roger, Roger" the droids mechanically exclaimed. "Oky Wan, you're a genius!" said Mack. "Thanks," said Oky Wan, "but now let's get outta here; Garviel is probably almost done setting up the explosives by now!" "You are right," said Mack, "the bounty hunter is probably long gone anyway, along with Annix. I'm guessing they are using him as bait to catch us." "Well, we're gonna have to worry about him later then" Jim cut in. "So, let's go!" They rushed through the corridors and out of the bunker. On the way, they grabbed Thok's clothes and weapons and Jim's nailgun from the room with the tracking device on the wall. Once outside, they jumped into the speeder Mack and Oky Wan arrived in, and left for Mack's freighter. I liked that General Grievous reference in your post, Mack. Idk. I would love to get 4 regular clones with each BP I get but I wouldn't know what to do with multiple copies of Commander Rex. IMO, it would be better if they would include a Rex fig without those hook-like markings on top of his helmet, so that it looks like a regular ARC gunner - that would be awesome! - or if they would at least just include a regular clone with commander gear (like in the Fighter Tank) instead, so that we can choose if we want him to be a commander/Arc-trooper or not. Also, I want a clone pilot in the new BP! Seconded even though I don't think that a speederbike counts as a "building". I'm really hoping for some lime green pieces - it's my favorite color! And I don't really care what kind of speeder bike it is (they're all awesome), but the one from the RGS does look pretty good and accurate. But wasn't the rumor that it's a Rebel BP-type speeder? It all started here and then got intense half-way through page 7. But let's not blame anyone and move on, shall we.

I just did: There are no other Sith than Palpatine and Dooku during the Clone Wars! (Click the link for the proof.) So unless it's one of them (which I highly doubt since the mysterious AAT driver has been said to be alien), it is not a Sith. I'm not saying, though, that it couldn't be someone like Assajj Ventress who is force-sensetive and/or wielding a lightsaber. I hope you understand now. What's the matter with you anyway? I don't intend to "scold" anybody or do any "mini-mod BS"; I'm just trying to participate in a discussion. So please stop accusing me of such things. As for everyone else: I am very sorry if anybody felt wrongly "scolded". Actually, there only are Sidious (Palpatine) as the teacher and Tyranus (Dooku) as the apprentice. Assajj, Grievous, and all the others are just servants of Dooku. If you watch Star Wars: Clone Wars, you can see Dooku clarrifyng that Assajj is no Sith. So quit the silly rumors of there being a Sith in the AAT. If you want to know who it really is, follow Master KimT's advice and read the thread.

I know. I never said that it will, I only said that it would be likely if the real poll would turn out approximately like JimButcher's. I don't like your tone, Chuck. Of course I don't think that, but I do believe that the EB members who voted in Jim's poll may be a sample of all the people who voted. And are you sure it will be released in 2010? Why would they wait a year to sell it when they already know what it will be in February? They would miss the anniversary. Anyway, I think this is getting a bit off topic, so let's stay focused.

I don't think so. I don't think that we know for sure yet which one of the Fans' Choice sets we will get (it will be announced in February), and if the poll that will determine this turns out approximately like this sample poll, the chances are higher that we will get a Palpatine's Arrest set instead. Haven't we discussed this just recently? It's very likely to be General Whorm Loathsom, as seen in the 4-minute scene that is viewable online for a while now. Besides, a Sith in an AAT? Wouldn't make much sense to me...

In the old 2008 Picture thread, I saw instructions to these minis. Can anyone provide links to them please? I can't find them.

I only had the pleasure of playing around with LUL figures when they were newly released and stood on store shelfs with their "Try Me!" windows. They seemed like fun, but the fact that you can't exchange the battery lowers their attraction quite a bit. Also, I could imagine getting frustrated from owning an exclusive fig like Mace or Luminara only in LUL form and not in normal. Besides, They did look kinda ugly with their hands all fused with the lightsaber handle like that. Therefore, I'd say good riddance. Well, actually, if the Fans' Choice TRU exclusive SW set that we voted on a while ago turns out to be Choice 1 - "Palpatine's Arrest", there is a good chance that you (and me ) will be able to get a brand-new, normal Mace early next year! We'll have to wait until February to find out...

Honestly, I don't get the excitement about this set. Sure, it's a pretty neat set and all, but I mean come on! We have the instructions! So why would it be so difficult to get a Power Functions set and bricklink some airplane hull pieces and white, long, wedged plates, and build it from your own collection? Just saying...

Well... no. They're minis. Nothing else. What I wonder is what kind of a set 8030 is. A fourth mini perhaps? Until now, there was always an even number of these kinds of things. If so, what do you think it could be? A mini Magna Guard Fighter? Or maybe a mini Fighter Tank? That would be so sweet actually! I would get about ten of those!

Wow, that's neat! It's big, it's detailed, and it has a nice, consistent color scheme. Where did you get all those round, white table pieces? Unfortunately, I haven't seen this episode, but I love TAS and am glad that you chose to build something from it! And judging from your reference pic, you recreated this club pretty accurately! Very impressive! Much better than expected indeed! It looks just like something out of legoland! I would still never get it, though, unless it's for like 30 bucks or so. Is it minifig scale? That would be even better!
