Actually, Annix was captured to be kept captive. It's something we organized because our member Vaders_son, who plays him, wanted to be temporarily removed. So it would be better if you would have a different story or would at least be in a different prison. Besides, it could take a while until we get to you, and I'm tired of rescuing people from prisons.

So, we agree that we are going to land on the planet without getting any help first? Well, seeing as the CIS will do anything to stop us, this will be a hard landing! About Skipper24: Too bad! I was looking forward to having him in the game. But seeing as he never really got into the game, it wont be too hard to remove him. I hope he'll get (back) in soon. About DS: I really don't think that he is visiting this site any longer, so I say we should at least remove him temporarily. About simonjedi's outfit: I think we can use any burned/damaged looking torso on him for now (or maybe his old torso), with one arm exchanged for a fleshy or blood-red one. Afterwards, we can use any Hoth-type torso for him, I think. Let's hope someone will still join today!

I agree. What bothers me also is that it doesn't have anything to do with TFU, except for using the apprentice's head on the body of the one Jedi. I don't think that Obi Wan is even in the story of TFU. What's kinda funny about this, though, is how the excessive use of yellow basic bricks makes it look like TFU were a highly pixelated, cartoony, old video game like on the first generation of game consoles.

Actually, seeing as wouwie liked my idea, it must make sense what I suggested. MacK and I picked up Easy 501's distress call shortly before we landed on Utapau and decided to relay it back to Coruscant, so couldn't Rex be the answer to that call? But if you guys don't want to do it that way, it's totally fine by me. We can just have found our outfits somewhere on board the freighter.

The Star Wars Comic Game: Chapter 2 - An Overview After crashing on Utapau, Butcher, Annix, and Thok and his troops continued to pursue the drug lord Kaeder on foot in the shadows of the enourmous sinkhole cities. Finally, they were able to locate him and overhear him talking to a bounty hunter. It turns out that the drugs that he took by force back on Coruscant were meant to be an essential part of the separatists' time machine, the secret weapon they were working on. A young citizen called William Jones overheard this conversation as well, but soon got into trouble with Republic forces. Trying to find out more, they followed the two criminals into a building. Unfortunately, they got caught and put into different cells, but they were able to send out an SOS before that. Meanwhile, MacK and Oky Wan were on their way to Utapau in order to go undercover and find Kaeder and help their Republic friends, using a freighter that looked suspiciously much like the one MacK blew up a little while ago. They were able to land on the planet without problems, but right afterwards, they got captured and sold to Doc Russo, a pit fighting slave driver, by a Pau'an traitor called Parrah Dox. MacK and Oky Wan woke up in a cell together with three other slaves. One of them who introduced himself as Xela approached them and offered his help in exchange for freedom, so they sat together and devised an escape plan. At the same time in a different part of the city, Garviel Loken, a Republic spy, had picked up the signal of a Republic-loyal ship having entered the atmosphere that MacK's freighter had sent out and was on his way to greet them. The next morning, MacK and Oky Wan were confronted by Draze, one of the two drug dealers who had provided MacK and Oky Wan with information about the separatists' plan. It was then revealed that it was him who sold them out. While Draze told them that he would be watching the pit fight they were about to be forced to fight, MacK was able to "borrow" Draze's blaster. Then, they were led to the pit arena where they met Loken who had been captured during his attempt to find them. The three were thrown into the pit and had to defend themselves against a sharakan, a shark man. Using the stolen blaster, MacK was able to make the beast attack Draze in the audience, which cued Xela to break through the ground with his pick, allowing the four of them to escape in between all the chaos. They walked through the crystal mines that Xela had been forced to work in until now. Oky Wan suspected that these were part of the time machine as well and took one with him. After fighting off some super battle droids at the end of the tunnel, they left on a speeder loaded with explosives and headed for Garviel's secret hideout. There, they stocked up on weapons and split up. While MacK and Oky Wan left to free Jim and the others, Garviel led the other former slaves on a mission to destroy a CIS core ship in order to create a distraction so that they could escape. MacK and Oky Wan were able to free Jim and Thok and even found out that General Grievous is the mind behind the time travel project, but they were too late to save Annix who was taken captive by another bounty hunter. It's obvious that Grievous wants to use him as bait to capture the others who know too much in his opinion, and maybe even use him as a lab rat to test the time machine too. They all returned to MacK's freighter where they were surprised not to find Garviel and the others and started worrying. Jim and Oky Wan left to check on them. Meanwhile, aboard the core ship, Garviel and his team were just finished setting up the explosives when they were attacked by battle droids. During this fight, Zues and Mendis, the two other former slaves, lost their lives. Afterwards, Garviel met a force-strong woman named Beqin who he believed to have defeated on a mission some years ago. As it turns out, she survived somehow and is now yet another pawn of Count Dooku, but her intentions are still unclear. She was just about to eliminate Garviel and Xela, when Xela set off the charges in a selfless act to allow his new friends to flee. Garviel got out just in time, survived, and got picked up by Oky Wan and Jim. Shortly thereafter, MacK and Thok brought the freighter around and they all left the planet, following the core ship which had been able to take off despite the damage Xela had caused and was now heading for the ice planet Hoth. It was Hoth where Grievous ordered his minions to move the time machine to, so it might be on that very core ship. It's a good thing too, seeing as the poor Easy 501 is still struggling against the CIS forces attacking his outpost, even though he is already receiving help from a clone commander called Rex. Whew! That was a long chapter! Btw, I had an idea of how we could acquire our new outfits and meet some of the new characters! I thought, maybe after we come out of hyperspace, we will find Commander Rex' Republic assault ship or attack cruiser hovering over Hoth and we board it before we get to the planet to get professional medical help for Garviel. There, we could be offered the new weapons and outfits. What do you think? Again, I'd like to point out at this time that according to wouwie13, this Commander Rex has nothing to do with Captain Rex from Star Wars: The Clone Wars! Sig updated!

Thanks. But do we really have to remove me? I said that I only wanted to be removed if my inability to post pics is not acceptable. So is it that bad that I can't add pics to my posts? If so, you'll have to do what you have to do and remove me. As for my outfit: I want to have a Jet Trooper outfit. Jet Troopers rule! That means a clone torso (preferably with green markings) with green arms and black hands. Under that, the usual white legs with black hips. And when we are outside and/or on a mission or something, I'll be wearing a Phase 1 helmet (preferably with an antenna on the right side). Also, since I'm a Jet Trooper, I need some kind of compact Jetpack. This could be either one of those neck pieces that allow a fig to have a stud on the back (in grey) with binoculars on it (preferably dark bley) or one of the old Space air tanks in white, green, grey, black, or (if it has to) blue. or you could try coming up with something else brick-built. Just try to keep it under 2 studs; it's supposed to be compact. Btw, did Skipper24 or Death Star contact you? Are they still playing? Overview will come soon.

Hi guys. I have bad news. Since yesterday, I am now in my Dark Ages. Because I am doing bad at school, I have decided to rid myself from all distractions, which includes locking away my lego for a while. I will still visit EB every once in a while for recreation, and I would still post small entries for the game, but I wont be able to post any pics. If that's a problem, it might be best to take me out of the game for now, but I would prefer it if you would just drag me along or let me get captured for now. Just don't kill me off please. Then I could still post once in a while and get back into the action once I fixed my educational and social life. I'm sorry, but it's necessary. This also means that I probably won't be able to create a group picture. I'll still write an overview, though. I'll do it tomorrow when I find some time. See ya later. Dark Ages OFF!

I said that I was unhappy with the design of the clone walker, and I am not a child who is new to SW, thank you very much. What would that have to do with my opinion on the design of a set or with the reading of posts anyway? I just think that it looks kinda stupid while the speederbike in the old clone BP and the carrier in the droid BP at least looked decent. In fact, I loved the speederbikes, which might influence my disappointment in this walker. But I have admitted that it has upsides as well, so I didn't say that it's total crap. I never said anything against the "extra-buildings" in the BPs in general either. What's up with all the complaining about peoples' complaints lately? Sure, some or most of these complaints may not be justified, but they are the opinions of those people, and you shouldn't complain about that! So please stop it!
-
I sure hope so! You are the only reason why we are moving the whole thing to Hoth! Btw, whatever happened to Death Star aka. William Jones? He hasn't posted anything since his last two posts in this game. Is he even still visiting this site? Perhaps we should contact him, and if he doesn't answer, take him out of the game.

In that case, some players like Thok should already be disqualified. No offense, I'm just saying. And yes, I want to make an overview. I'll post it soon and update my sig to feature an index of the chapters. I'll also work on a Chapter 3 pic.

The more I look at the clone BP walker, the less I like it. But at least it's a nice parts pack for creating a normal, one-seat AT-RT and has a Republic insignia piece. Btw, I would like it much better if Mace Windu had a head that looks more like that of the Shaquille O'Neal fig: Therefore, I hope these pics are still preliminary, even though they look quite final. If TLG doesn't change Windu's head, I'll just BL the O'Neal head and swap 'em. I also hope the Attack Shuttle won't be more than 50 bucks, seeing as the torrent which is of about equal size was more than that. 2009 ON!

The same goes for me: CW sets go on the dresser in my room with a baseplate in the middle with all clones and droids and some Jedi & Sith set up in a battle scene; OT sets go in my lego closet and wherever else they fit. Some of the sets that have useful parts and that I have had lying around for a while get disassembled to make room for new sets. What is my lego closet you ask? It's a little storage closet opposite to my room that is made up almost entirely of large shelves which my parents were so kind to let me use to store my lego. So, the lower third of the shelves is packed with brick buckets and sorting cases and the rest is storage space for any MOCs and sets that I can't part with (yet). Right now, though, the top of my dresser looks kinda empty since I used most of my CW stuff in my bignette entry for the CW building contest which stored away in the Lego closet. BTW, my dresser is black, so it's very fitting for SW lego, especially ships!

A custom Boba Fett costume? Made out of LEGO?? You have got to be kidding me! That is so cool! It's like one of the most awesome things I've ever seen! Great job, very detailed! I had played with the idea to MOC parts of a costume myself once, but I couldn't think of anything as good as this, so I decided that it was too childish anyway. Boy, have you proved me wrong! Maybe I'll look into that idea again sometime, even though almost nothing could be as cool as a Boba Fett. It's a winner for sure! Let's just hope no one will bump into you at the convention and destroy all your hard work! Just one question: Why such a colorful Jetpack? It might need some work. Also, do you have instructions for any of these? How do you attach the parts to your costume?

Actually, he is more like bait for the separatists to capture us. They think we know too much and they expect us to run into their trap trying to rescue Annix. As if we were that stupid! Anyway, I'm OK with your new body, Thok. Maybe we all should start wearing more Republic clothes/armor now. I would love to have Obi Wan's new torso, but I doubt that everyone got the RGS or bought the Obi key chain and removed the chain like I did. Besides, that's a Jedi general's torso, and I'm neither a jedi nor a general. I would also love to have a Boba Fett torso, but even with all the Slave 1s, Cloud Cities, and magnet sets that were released, I think that one is too rare as well. So, I'll still think about what I will wear in the next chapter. About Skipper 24: Is he even still planning on playing? Since he posted the background story to his character, we haven't heard anything from him. However, I agree that cody's torso is perfect for him. An alternative would be the star corps trooper torso. I have that one too, so I am technically fine with it, and another alternative for those who are so unfortunate not to have the HSD set could be a normal clone torso with (dark) red arms. But I fear it wouldn't make a lot of sense for you to have such a torso since the color and the symbol on the chest are specific to the Coruscant guard. But that's just the SW geek in me complaining. It's an awesome torso, so heck, just go for it! I hope that the next chapter will have more "illustrations". Maybe we should introduce a rule that says that if you post more than five times in a row without pictures, your character gets killed off. Just an idea. Oh, and do you want me to write an overview of Chapter 2 again? Chapter 3 ON!

Alright, Jim. But if I may make one last post, I'd like to end this Chapter properly: After they had left the bunker where Jim, Annix, and Thok were held prisoner, our four heroes headed straight for MacK's freighter. When they arrived there, they were surprised to see that Loken and the others still weren't there. "Where are they?" asked Oky Wan, more to himself than to the others. "They should have been done setting the charges a long time ago!" "Something must have gone wrong" MacK figured. "Some of us should go and check for them" Jim suggested. "MacK, you and Thok make the ship ready and wait for our signal. Oky Wan and I will go and see what's wrong." "Alright" said MacK, and he and Thok entered the ship together while Oky Wan and Jim got back into the speeder and headed down to the lower levels of the sinkhole. They traveled through tunnels for a little while until they finally reached the level where the core ship was located. They came out of the last tunnel, just in time to see the large, round vessel rise into the air. "Oh no! They're taking off!" exclaimed Jim. But in that moment, a couple of booms were to hear, and parts of the core ship exploded. "Yes! They did it!" shouted Oky Wan. "But where are they?" As they watched flames bursting out the sides of the ship, they noticed a human body appearing out of the flames and flying right toward them. It fell into a pile of debris only a few feet away from them. "Oh my god! That was Loken!" said Oky Wan in shock. Jim jumped out of the speeder to look for the wounded man and Oky Wan followed. Heavily damaged but apparently still able to fly, the core ship kept rising up out of the sinkhole and into the sky in the meanwhile, leaving a thick trail of smoke all the way. "OKY, OVER HERE" shouted Jim after a while. Oky Wan came over as quick as he could. After he looked at the poor man lying in Jim's arms, he said: "He's hurt pretty bad. Jim, contact Mack, get the ship to our location. He's going to need medical attention!" "Yes, of course. Any sign of the other three?" "No." Jim sighed. "Let's get him on board and get out of here." Oky Wan carried him out of the pile of core ship debris and put him on the ground gently while Jim gave the orders to MacK. A couple of minutes later, they were picked up by the white freighter, and they all left the sinkhole in the direction the core ship had left. On board, a clone medic was doing his best on Garviel Loken. He told Jim and Oky Wan: "It's a miracle that he survived that, but I think he'll make it." Relieved about this news, the two sat down. After the medic had left they tried talking to Loken. "Garviel?" said Oky Wan, "Can you hear me? What happened back there?" Rattling, Loken said: "Xela... Mendis... Zues... all dead... Beqin... returned..." Afterwards, he lost conscious again. There was an eerie silence for a while until they heard MacK saying through the intercom: "Preparing jump into Hyperspace. Destination: Hoth." And in the blink of an eye, the little freighter disappeared into the field of stars... End of Chapter 2 How is that for a dramatic ending of a chapter? I'll add pics later, I'm tired now.

Thanks for providing that link. I was unsure if I should have done it in my original post since the posting of the image itself is prohibited. So, links are OK then? Anyhoo, I would only get one if it is below ten bucks, but I doubt that. Cause I'm only interested in the fig too (and maybe the parrot ). It really is a great fig and it's interesting how it's exclusive to this set. They don't use neither the torso or the head in the "real" Pirates sets. On a side note: In the fort set, I love how they remodeled the scene from Pirates of the Carribean with the dog and the prisoners who are trying to free themselves using a bone to feature a monkey and a banana instead!

Wow! Such good pics already? Sweet! I am mostly quite happy about what I'm seeing. The clone BP is pretty much what I expected it to be, although I was counting with a rebel BP-type speeder instead of this weird two-seat AT-RT and was hoping for a normal pilot. The "pilot" seems to be the oddball of this set, like the star corps trooper of the old clone BP, and is probably some kind of special division that we don't know about yet. He may not even be a pilot. Would it not be him driving the walker if he were a pilot? We will have to wait and see. I'll definately get multiples of this one. The droid BP on the other hand is nothing like I was hoping for. I sooo wanted the kind of BP that was in the rumors first, with Magnas and Droidekas! I really hope that we will still get something like that at some point. Anyway, for what it is, the assassin droid BP is actually pretty good, considering all the pieces in interesting colors. All that dark blue and silver... The fact that these BPs have stickers and FF missiles is not a bad thing either. The stickers are useful for MOCs and the tips of the droids' missiles can be used for electrostaffs! The AAT looks pretty cool, even though it does not have a perfect design, and I shall get at least one of these. But WTF? No Loathsom, but instead a Yoda with a bigger head??? A bigger head would make sense in terms of his head-body proportions, but in comparison with other figs... idk. It doesn't look that big in the pic, so I'll wait and see how it turns out. The Hyena Vulture Bomber, apart from its questionable name, looks pretty interesting, especially the Jet Droids that come with it. Everyone keeps saying they're dark red, but I'm pretty sure they're brown. Nevertheless, this promises to be a cool episode of The Clone Wars! Don't know if I'll get it, though; I have many higher priorities. The shuttle is pretty darn spot-on and I would love to have one in my collection, but there are so many other sets I want, so I'll have to wait for a review to make up my mind about it. I really, really want a Mace Windu, but there are two good reasons why I don't want this one: First of all, he still has this stupid smiley face! Mace Windu is a BMF, so needs to look badass too! Also, if we should be getting a Palpatine's Arrest set at some point, I'll rather wait to get my Mace with that one! But, as I said, if the shuttle turns out to be one of the best sets of 2009 (which it admittedly has the potential to), I might forget about these things and get this set anyway. Then I could BL one of the old NBA heads which looked at least somewhat cool and swap it with Mace's. And since I'm not an OT fan, I don't care for the TIE Advanced. It does look very accurate, though. I'm quite satisfied with the early 09 line. All the other sets look good, but not good enough to make me spend a lot on other sets than SW. Then again, we haven't seen any Space, Castle Elves, or Agents pics yet...
-
Yes, I too am very happy about this improvement! Even though I am trying not to buy any Bionicles anymore so that I can focus on SW, I am sure to pick up at least two of the small ones just for those pieces (to update some of my older Bionicles). And yes, this should have happened a long time ago! Oh yeah, you're right! I thought those were made of rubber. There sure are endless possibilities... but I can't think of anything right now. Perhaps with a bunch of colorful lightsaber blades stuck in it, it could represent something like this: Disco ON! Btw, has anyone noticed that "glowing" treads gear below the pic of Strakk? It has a sticker with numbers and a skull on it. Does it came with every new Bionicle? Is it supposed to be some kind of game or something? A dreidel-type game perhaps?
-
I have to say I'm quite happy with the new Pirates sets. They are designed in a very old-school way, while featuring some minor improvements like some new, useful molds and pieces in new colors. A good chance to catch up for those who missed out on the old Pirates sets. And I don't know if anyone noticed, but there is also a Pirate themed brick box with a neat little Pirate fig, some coins, and a brick-built parrot. Nothing special, just a nice chance to get those things together with some colorful bricks. I'm sure these will sell well and I hope there will be more new Pirates! Raise the !
-
Of course, but are they for future or past post(s)? Edit: Sorry, but color is just not working for some reason.
-
Well, 4898 is not exactly as desirable as the Comic Con exclusive, but at least they're free, and considering this is not widely available over here, this might be kinda cool to have, even though I'm not a huge City fan. So, meh, what the heck: I'm in.
-
Another thing I am curious about regarding Dooku's Solar Sailor is if we will get an FA-4 pilot droid with it (which would only make sense), and if so, how TLG will design it.
-
Good to hear but which pics are you talking about? And you are traveling again? You're a busy guy, aren't you? Anyway, have fun!
-
Yeah, I thought that too, commanderbly42! That's the ship grievous uses to get to Utapau after abandoning the Invisible Hand, right? So, I hope we will get a new Grievous with this!
-
I just realized that Republic Attack Cruiser and Republic Star Destroyer aren't the same thing. The Attack Cruiser, as THE-FORCE pointed out, is the Brickmaster exclusive mini Venator, so what is the SD? When you look it up on Wookieepedia, you get this: Looks weird. I guess we will know more about it once the CW show starts. It might be a mini as well.
