Possibly, but neither he nor Will Ferrel are mentioned, so I wouldn't count on it. I hope so! I'll bring my fishing net!

Kinda late, but BEAVeR and I have wrote our review of The Siege of Lothal. You can read it here. We will review last night's episode soon.

Oh man, stuff got real in the last Gravity Falls episode. I hope there will be another season, but it seems like they are concluding the story, so I wouldn’t mind if they end the show after this finale. Thankfully we wont have to wait too long for the next episode this time. The season finale of Rick & Morty was also very good. Ooh-wee! It was nice to see Rick finally show his softer side. Hopefully we wont have to wait more than one and a half years for season 3 like Mr. Poopybutthole suggested (yes, that's the character's actual name in case you haven't watched season 2 ). Agreed. This looks pretty good. Do we know when it's coming to the States? By the way, you need to remove the "s" from the "https" in the URL for the embed to work. Agreed. This sure was a nice heartwarming episode and a perfect way to end this story arc. Looks like the CMC's true crusade has only just begun. Where do you watch it? I watched the first few episodes and was not impressed, so I never bothered to watch it. The laid-back tone, the shortness of the episodes, and the way it just drops you in the middle of the story without any setup put me off. It's the same issues I had with Adventure Time which I could never get into either. But I keep hearing how good the show gets in the later seasons, so I might give it a second chance. What's the best place to catch up on it?

He is not listed among the cast: http://www.insidethemagic.net/2015/10/new-legoland-exclusive-4d-film-lego-movie-a-new-adventure-announced-january-2016/ That article also states the premiere dates for this movie as January 29, 2016 for Legoland Florida Resort and February 6 for Legoland California Resort with the other Legolands and 11 Legoland Discovery Centers to follow soon afterwards. Also, the new villain is called Risky Business??

So you'll be sitting in an attraction at Legoland watching Lego characters go to Legoland? Certainly looks like they are trying to make this experience as meta as the movie. This I would actually love to see. Maybe they can get Will Friedle to voice Emmet? He voices Starlord in the GotG cartoon.

Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion

Yup, totally fake. I'd be shocked if anything useful ever came out of 4chan. Just as much as I'd be shocked if the color actually ends up being gray. I mean, just look at how ugly and non-Disney that looks. I'm guessing the final color will be either blue like the Disney logo or white. You pretty much answered your own question, but here are my thoughts anyway: No, I don't think we'll get Bo Peep in this series. Again, they will probably mostly do main characters and will (hopefully) want to save her for TS4 sets. Plus there's the new molds issue. CMFs usually only have one new mold, or two at the most. Bo Peep would need one for her head/hair/bonnet, one for her sheep or crook (whichever she comes with; probably the crook) and maybe one for her skirt, although that could be achieved with cloth. I don't think they would invest that many molds in a secondary character like her.- 4,155 replies

Yup, looks like the color for the series will be gray and all the minifigs will be all-yellow and have a question mark on them. Come on, guys, this image is clearly a place holder. It's super generic; it doesn't even call it Disney Series, just "Special Series". They obviously want to keep the series a surprise, which includes not revealing the color for the series which might give it away. I'd be shocked if the color actually ends up being gray.- 4,155 replies

I'm liking this wave. But it's hard not to think of Duck Hunt when looking at 31044.

Yeah, if we get a new type of dress, I hope it's a completely new mold like Queen Amidala's, but I'm guessing they will stick to the slope. And yes, it would be good to get a skirt piece that doesn't make the fig taller than other minifigs. Otherwise this issue will be especially problematic if they include the Beast along with Belle and Belle ends up being taller than him.- 4,155 replies

Well, they had a Suicide Squad DLC for the last Batman game (though granted it was just called "the Squad"), so I wouldn't rule it out, but if you are right, then yes, I guess it would be unlikely that they would make a game just based on MOS and BvS.
-
I think we can expect a DC Cinematic Universe game at some point and I think we could potentially see one next year. Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad are released next year and we are getting sets based on at least one of those movies. They could make a game based on those movies and Man of Steel. Not sure I would want such a game, but I think it's a fairly high possibility. We all know how much TT loves to make Batman games and it would help promote the BvS sets. I also wonder if we could maybe see a Lego Angry Birds game? Kinda makes sense if you think about it, although it might work better as a mobile game like the original Angry Birds rather than a TT Games game. I don't think we will get a The Force Awakens game next year. There is not enough material to warrant a game and it wouldn't tie in with the release of the movie. I guess they could include content from Rogue One as well, but since that's a separate story, it would be weird to bundle it with TFA. There is no doubt they will make a game to cash in on the new movies eventually, but they wouldn't want to risk their reputation by releasing a half-baked game, so I think next year is too early for it. But maybe they could do a Star Wars Rebels game? The show will have two seasons under its belt by then, which was enough for them to make a Clone Wars game, so it will probably be enough for a Rebels game as well.

Pixar Animation Studios and Films Discussion

Yeah, I guess the movie is already teaching us a lesson: Don't judge. By the way, mark your calendars! Cars 3 - June 16, 2017 Coco - November 22, 2017 Toy Story 4 - June 15, 2018 The Incredibles 2 - June 21, 2019 There's also two untitled Pixar films slated for March 13, 2020, and June 19, 2020. Can't wait to see what those will be! Probably Cars 4 and Toy Story 5 (that's supposed to be a joke, but it's actually more likely than I'm willing to admit ).- 279 replies

Hehe, I can see why Castle fans are hating this, but for fans of sci-fi and creative mashups like me, this looks pretty fun. It has more of a Ninjago vibe than a Chima vibe which is good. And the scanning feature sounds intriguing. I wonder how it will work. Will they show an icon on screen that you scan with your phone/tablet and then gain a new ability in the game? Sounds like an interesting idea and a good way to give people another reason to watch the show. I'll be looking forward to this.

New trailer, finally with some dialogue! Story-wise it seems a lot like A Land Before Time with a cave-boy thrown in and I still have to get used to the dino designs, but Spot seems very lovable and it looks like an overall enjoyable movie.- 279 replies

For once I gotta agree with LEGODalekbuster523. Cars may sell more toys, but there is a fair amount of people who don't like the movies, especially the sequel. There are some who don't like the Toy Story sequels either, but I don't know a single person who doesn't at least love the original. Therefore, I'd say it's the most popular. That said, I still think Toy Story shouldn't be included. There is not much they could do about Woody and Buzz that would make them desirable to people who already have them. Woody already had side printing and was about as accurate as he could be. Buzz could benefit from some side printing, especially on his arms, and maybe a fully closed helmet, but the version we got was fine in my opinion. I would love to get some of the supporting characters that we never got in the sets, but I don't think we will since they will probably focus on main characters in this CMF series. There is nothing that says that they HAVE to include them just because they're the most popular. There are plenty of other popular Pixar and Disney characters to choose from and as some have already said, the CMFs seem to be designed to give us figs that we would probably never get otherwise, so I wouldn't expect any figs from movies that we might still get sets from. Again, I'm hoping we will get TS4 sets which would allow us to also get Bo Peep and other characters we don't have yet. And yes, Jack Skellington would be awesome to get. I think a regular minifig head would work fine for him and it would be a shame if he had a molded head that you can't put a Santa hat on.- 4,155 replies

As far as I'm concerned, if something is listed under "Themes" on S@H, it's officially a theme.

A car is not a minifigure. Neither is an animal, unless it's anthropomorphized like Mickey. The sooner you understand that the sooner we can get this discussion back on track. That said, I could somewhat see a Remy minifigure work, kinda like Master Splinter, but it would be odd since he would be out of scale with everyone else. I think it's more likely that if we get anything from Ratatouille, it would be Linguini with Remy as a one-mold accessory (hopefully a new mold, not a generic rat).- 4,155 replies

As Penkid said, this is a question you have to answer for yourself. If paying $15 for a minifig and a mini build or $30 for a minifig and two builds is worth it for you is totally up to you. If you're really only interested in the minifigs, you could get them on the aftermarket. Or you could get the packs and try to sell anything you don't want, like the stands, which might give you some of your money back. However, for Dr. Who, I would wait for the Lego Ideas set to be released which will probably include the Doctor and maybe the Cyberman and will be a much better value.

Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion

I agree with J2G on Oswald and Pluto. However, I strongly disagree on Woody and Buzz. As much as I love Toy Story, I really don't want them to waste two of the spots in the series on minifigs that we have gotten in several sets already. Most people who want Woody and Buzz probably already have them and wont be interested in them, so it wouldn't make sense for them to be included in this series. It makes more sense for them to wait two years and make a full Toy Story 4 line of sets. Same goes for Jack Sparrow. I mean, he was in every single POTC set. Nobody wants him at this point, and POTC5 might get sets as well. Other than that, skelliesgang's list sounds plausible. But perhaps we should start a wishlist thread before everyone starts posting their wishlists here.- 4,155 replies

Nice idea, but I think it's about 20 years too late. Unfortunately, Time Cruisers was one of Lego's most unpopular and underrated themes, so I don't think there would be much interest in a game based on it, especially after all this time. The closest thing that we will get to it is Lego Dimensions, although that game doesn't include any of the 90's themes and is more licensed theme focused. Personally, I would love such a game. I loved Time Cruisers since it was the first theme that was meant to interact with all other themes and established a unified Lego canon. The set designs were fun and creative and it had some interesting stories that involved everyone's favorite themes back then. The concept would indeed lend itself to a game very well and there actually was a Time Cruisers boardgame which I can recommend seeking out. Regarding your Hypno Cruiser dilemma, while you are right that it would go best with some other 90's sets, I don't see why you can't have it travel to the modern Castle, Pirates, City, or Space themes.

No, Pocahontas is. I could easily see them making a set with a canoe and Willow or maybe a tipi, but that's off topic. Disney has been pretty much ignoring the existence of Tiger Lily and her tribe since the original movie. Besides, she is a fairly minor character who doesn't even have any speaking lines.- 4,155 replies

Well, it's not like they haven't done it before. For example, they released the mad scientist after they released Prof. Frink.- 4,155 replies
