Me too. Even though I really like 3vil, I wasn't very interested in this set when it came out. This was mostly due to the hefty price tag, though. But now that it's %80 off, I think I will get it. Undead are always cool, and this is undead in space! What could possibly be better! And even if you don't like the set, you can just get it for parts and make your own 3vil creation(s) with them. Twenty bucks for nearly a thousand pieces is a really good deal after all! If you don't like the set OR its pieces, you can just buy it and then resell it for a higher price. Getting this set for that price is a win either way.

... which is aimed more at adults than children and is therefore unlikely to become a theme. They might make one or two sets from it for the grown up LSW fans, kinda like they only released one TFU set, but not much else. Especially no BPs, so I think Endor BPs are quite plausible. Btw, this thread is not about the likeliness of stuff to come out, but a wishlist of what we would like to get. Order 66 sets are very unlikely too, but that doesn't mean we can't wish for them.

That's strange. Has anyone else experienced this? I don't have any of them yet, so I can't tell.

Who doesn't! I like the story of that ep too! Can't wait! Exactly. That's why it's called a "Hostage Crisis". Wasn't that obvious? Btw, the webcomic for this episode is up. And it's awesome! Let's hope the episode will be as good or even better! Ya mon! Mae da force be with us, mon! Alright, enough with the stereotypes. I like Phil LaMarr as a voice actor, so I'm quite OK with Fisto. And as I have mentioned earlier, I, too, really like Bane's voice! Are you suggesting that there should/could be an episode or two where Sing trains Boba? Not exactly the show's style, but I sure wouldn't mind it. PS: I'm not a nay-sayer. I'm just being skeptical for two reasons: - The last few episode previews that got me excited turned out to consist of the best scenes of the episode, leaving me somewhat disappointed after watching it. - The last time CN made so much commotion over a CW TV-event, it turned out to be the two worst episodes of the season. But either way, I'm sure this will be a good episode.

Sounds like a good MOC! Mind posting it? (in its own thread of course)

I love chrome. I really do. But there's something about those new metallic ones that I like better (as a lightsaber hilt) than the chrome ones. Maybe it's because the chrome ones kinda clash with the cartoony colors of the minifigs. The metallic ones are shiny while remaining a cartoony color that goes well with the figs. Also, the paint comes off of the chrome hilts, but the metallic ones stay like they are. So I voted for metallic. As for the worst, I voted the bent bley Ventress ones. Bley is obviously the worst color for a hilt, but the straight ones are at least useful for MOCs.

I know. I just wanted to point out that they may not have that sale on S@H, but they still do in the stores. Sorry, Sinner, I just had to clarify this.

Agreed. Anyone knows that the Mace figs don't look as badass as the real Mace Windu, and it's likely that no minifig ever will. But the CW one gets close enough to it. So, erm, yeah... I think this thread can be closed now.

Not in my Lego Store it isn't. And they still have a whole bunch of them. If anyone still wants it for that price, I suggest checking your local Lego Retail Store.

Hello there! I had this crazy idea lately and I wanted to know what you think. As we all know, TLC has given us clues for the return of Pirates, and I believe that they might be giving us clues again. Among the upcoming Lego Board Games, there is a version of Labyrinth that is called "Minotaurus" and has a Greek theme to it. It even has two lovely Greek soldiers on the box art! All the other games are based on a current or previously existing theme, except this one. So, my question is: Is this a foreshadowing of a new Greek/Spartan theme? And will the theme have minifigs like on that box? It wouldn't be too hard for TLG to make such helmets out of the Senate Commando helmets: I think it would be awesome to have such a theme with such minifigs as the good guys and all kinds of creatures from Greek mythology as the bad guys! So, what do you think?

So, it's not available in Belgium anymore? Over here you can still get it, and still for half the price. Perhaps you can make a trade with someone in the States. I would if I were you - it's an excellent set!

Btw, when I was thinking about doing something like this, I had the idea of using the top part of the Skellie Prison Carriage as the air inlet on the podracer's engines. Since you have two of those, you could try to do that. I'm not sure how well that will look on your pod since it has rather small engines, but I think it's worth a shot.

Very "kool" indeed! But except for the neck-snapping, there isn't much anything new. This better not be the only good scenes of the episode again. Btw, I had another idea of who the villain in "Jedi Hunter" could be: Aurra Sing! Would be cool IMO!
-
Damn! I wanted to make something like this. Everyone seems to have the same ideas as me. Oh well. Well done, though! I don't see anything that's wrong with it. The energy coupling looks very nice!

I really regret not getting Jedi Defense I & II. Those were two cheap sets that I could've easily afforded, and while Number One had transforming Droidekas, Number Two had a printed droid commander and security droid. Back then, they didn't appeal to me for some reason, but now that I've seen what passes for Droidekas and painted BDs these days I really wish I would've gotten them - in multiples! Oh well. Also, I would've loved to have Watto's Junkyard and the Trade Federation AAT because I'm a huge podracing fan and the AAT just looks so much nicer in tan.

I agree with iLikePi. The vid is not bad, but if this is supposed to be funny, the choice of music is rather strange.

OH YEAH! I forgot about the jet troopers! A jet trooper BP has to happen!

I don't see any similarities with the 2007 one either. This one has a completely different design, a reverse color scheme, and an added gunner station. The only thing that's similar to the old Y-Wing is its overal shape, which is kinda crucial for this to be a predecessor of the Y-Wing. Even though I don't have any Y-Wings, I wont get this one either because I'm not a huge fan of Y-Wings and can't afford it. However, if I see it on sale sometime in 2010, I might get it after all. It'll be hard, though, to get it to swivel at this scale. But I guess it makes for a good challenge.
-
If you mean tail gunner station, then yes, it does. But it's a big minus to me that it doesn't rotate. It's not as bad a fake as others are. As ADHO15 said, Saesee Tiin's JSF was much worse. The only thing that tips you off here is that the Vulture droid is much too small for the box art. Otherwise it's actually not bad. Would be nice though, if they would sell these separately. This would be a nice way to build an armada of them, and the SW theme could use some more sets under $20.
-
Golf ball of course! Why would it be an asteroid? You can't even build those pieces onto anything. And it couldn't be an RGS bubble turret piece since those are six studs wide, and the cockpit of the Y-Wing is only four wide.

If it would include Secura & Bly like I suggested, I'd say it is necessary! The vessel itself, however, isn't. I agree. But it would still be neat. This ship is being used almost as much as the RAS after all, so it's one of the more iconic vessels of the CW. Well, I (like many others, I'm sure) would much rather have droid commandos than a tactical droid. Who needs an army of tactical droids anyway? But if they release one in one of the larger sets - Sure, why not. Also, I agree that a new droid BP with SBD commanders (the ones from the AAT) and BDs with the new arms and blasters would be nice. The question is, what is the Good Guy BP that is released parallel with it going to include? One possibility (a very awesome one) would be Senate Commandos.
-
Yeah, I guess you're right. Since they were like that on Toy Fair, they'll probably be like that in the final set. That's good news as this Artoo looks so much better than the old one! Oh? What's the difference?
-
True. Seeing as they were trying to recreate the scene, this is quite a "FAIL". Of course it doesn't. He was just pointing it out; he never said it mattered. Either way, this looks like an excellent set! I'm astounded by how many "explosion" techniques TLG came up with this year! But it's still a bit overpriced, so I'll wait for a sale to get it.
-
I would love it if TLC would re-release the Republic Cruiser in the CW line with better design, better interior, and a reverse color scheme (red-on-white). This would be especially awesome if it were based on the episode "Jedi Crash" and would include Aayla Secura and Bly! Also, I want a cheap set with droid commandos and/or Magna Guards. A BP would be perfect!

KimT, I think you should add a pic of Rex without his helmet so that people can see that he has a different kind of clone head.
