I think the man called Anakin Skywalker died long before this moment. Though I guess you could say that in this moment Anakin's appearance "died", destroying the last reminder of the person he once was. You captured this epic moment very nicely. The lighting of your shots definitely adds to the atmosphere of it. But I can't help but feel that this is a bit empty for a medium entry. Perhaps you could have a droid or two hovering over the lava, or some flames coming up here and there. Good luck, and may the force be with you.

Alright, thanks. I don't have any bluecoats (the closest thing I have are the cavalry from Western) so I'll probably end up using decals. Since the admiral from the new Pirates sets has a blue uniform, could he be used as a bluecoat, or is his allegiance to the redcoats set in stone? Sorry if that's a stupid question; I'm new to this Pirates stuff.

I didn't list her because she's already confirmed. But yeah, it'll be interesting to see what a Padme would look like if we would finally get one again after all these years.

Hey, this sounds like fun! I'm usually discouraged from entering Pirate contests because of the godly MOCing skils of a lot of the Pirate fans. But making a brutal/hilarious comic? That I can do! And the prizes are great as well. I think I'll enter. I'm confused about the whole avatar stuff though. By avatar, do you mean sigfig? Also, what qualifies as a bluecoat/redcoat fig? Only the official stuff, or will any piratey blue/red torso do?

It's kind of sad that it took the threats of a mod to get this thing going, but it's good that it's finally starting (even though it already kind of started for me a while ago). Me and Cpt. Genaro are about ready to start, but since I will be on vacation until July, the only way to play for us for now is to just make a post whenever we have time. So whenever you get around to it, you can start our thread, ADHO, and we'll drop a post every once in a while if that's OK.

If you were interested in the parts, couldn't you have purchased a second copy when it was on clearance for such a long time? Oh, I wont. Those are just ideas I wanted to throw out there. In fact, I even doubt that we'll see such unimportant characters such as ARF Troopers or Tactical Droids since they don't have any special abilities over other clones/droids.

Very cool cars, Pepper! I really like the look of them! But I can't help but notice that they are missing the most important thing: Weapons! Both the Agents and World Racers themes are loaded with them, and these vehicles don't have ANY! If these two were to compete in the World Race, they would get their megablocks kicked. At this moment, they look more like Speed Racer cars. So how about some flick-fire dynamite on the inferno car, and some kind of big gun (or lots of smaller guns) on the Agents car? Indeed.

I have most of the figs now, and I think my favorite is the Spaceman, but the robot is a very, very close second. His raygun is just so awesome, and everything on him is very reusable. The robot isn't quite as reusable, but he is so retro, shiny, and cool. For me too. To be honest, I'm surprised we don't have one yet, considering we already have hi-res pics of all the figs. After all, this thread got started after we only had thumbnails of the figs! But the reason might be the fact that there are already some clear favorites. Still, someone should make such a poll...
