I'm pretty sure it's printed since it's the same pieces as one used on Build-A-Buzz's arm, and the instructions don't ask you to apply any stickers.

This is terrible! And here I thought the killings were over after the defeat of You Know Who! Though I cannot say I'm surprised. Mankind is such a destructive race. Just look at all the things it has done to our planet! And now they're back to destroying themselves. I cannot tolerate this! Unfortunately I was with Prof. Hagrid by the forest during the attack, so I couldn't witness anything, but be assured that I will do my best to find these perpetrators and bring them to justice! I might even get help from my friends in the magical animal kingdom. As for Prof. Lastrada, I too think it's suspicious that he wasn't able to defend himself and disappeared. I mean, he is the one who knows best about these Hallows around here (aside from Mr. Potter of course) and there is no evidence the attackers are holding him hostage. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but he might be involved in this...

Awesome entry! How could it not be, being based on the original CW series which was pure epicness? Nice to see another one of your signature "brickplosions" being used here. Somehow it adds to the cartooniness of the scene. The hologram is nice too. However, there are a lot of spots of bare baseplate which feel very empty, so yeah, this would have been better at a smaller scale as a medium entry. Also, if I were you, I would have chosen to do the fight between Obi Wan and Durge that took place in the same room. Now that would have been truly epic! But this is good too. Good Luck, and may the force be with you!

Very nice! Instantly recognizable and well built. I agree with the criticisms above, especially the one to have water instead of the base. I know the platform is far above the water, but perhaps it could be micro-scale so as to create a forced perspective. Of course it would have also been nice if you could have done it so that the wire comes from Jango's hand, but I realize how that would be difficult. Another idea would be to have a Kaminoan inside the column, just to make it more interesting, but looking at the holes on the side of the platform, this MOC wasn't really meant to be viewed from that angle. Good luck, and may the force be with you!

A Buzz promo! I knew it! The ship itself is pretty neat too, even better than the one from the Alien promo. Now if only we could actually buy these! That wouldn't make any sense at all since he's not only just a cameo role, but also a human. What sense would it make to have a human in the same scale as the toys? If anything, it would have to be a Scala or Technic fig, but still, that would be one of the last characters we would ever see in a set. Thanks for that link though! Now I can look out for those easter eggs when I finally watch the movie! However, now I'm sad that they didn't include that neat Cars reference in the Western Train set. Oh well. Those are definitely some excellent sets! But KielDaMan is right that the Round Up would be a cheaper solution which would give you the Prospector as well. I couldn't agree more! *notes on To-Moc list* Looks like I'll have to bricklink some purple slopes. Yes! A TS contest would toyriffic! I personally still think POP month should have been TS month, but oh well.

First post edited with better pics and a link to the flickr set. Hehe, yeah. Maybe I'll post it over on BrickHorizon as well so that he can see it. Then you have probably never seen my prize-winning Battle of Dagobah diorama. And I wasn't the first to use it either. I copied it from... someone. Can't remember who. Thanks, I did that partly because I couldn't find one of the Yoda torsos intentionally. Thanks. The CW scene is so plain because it took place in a snow wasteland (check the reference pic), so there really wasn't much I could have added, and I ran out of time anyway. The Luke scene may not be as epic, but the aftermath of it sort of is - an epic fail on Luke's part, that is. I was thinking about putting yoda in the air, but since I already did that in the Dooku scene, I chose to do the scene where he and palpy are in a dramatic lock-position. By the way, the head design was taken from the official Yoda sculpture. It's practically a slice of the middle of his head.

Woot! I worked my Megabloks off to get this done in time and was scared I was too late! Thanks! If you allow it, I'd like to add some more, better pics in the next few hours. Thanks. I'd love to hear what else you two have to say about it once I add more pics!

This is my entry - a tribute to the little green jedi master! It showcases some of his greatest moments throughout the saga! Attack of the Clones: Yoda VS. Dooku - Master Yoda confronts Count Dooku after the Battle of Geonosis while the wounded Anakin and Obi Wan helplessly watch. Next to them is a pillar which Dooku will soon use to attempt to crush them. Clone Wars: Battle of Ilum - Yoda takes out some chameleon droids which have been sent to destroy the crystal caves. Revenge of the Sith: Yoda VS. Darth Sidious - Yoda faces the new emperor, Palpatine. The Empire Strikes Back: Training Luke - The self-exiled Jedi master has decided to train Luke Skywalker, the galaxy's only hope, in the ways of the Force. Click here to see my reference pics, and you can find more pics in my flickr. Note how "Yoda" can be read correctly from both sides! Also note the Initials at the bottom indicating which film/series each vignette is from! I hope you like it and would love to hear your comments on it! May the force be with you - Always!

What about me? I haven't confirmed yet either. So let's change that right now: I am now ready to play and let the magic happen!

Very well then. I guess I'll just have to see if I can come up with something in the remaining hours. Yeah, we Americans are kinda stupid that way (as well as lots of other ways too). So yeah, I agree, that would be very helpful.
-
So there's really no chance of an extended deadline, not even just 24 hrs? Looking at some of the comments, I don't seem to be the only one who has issues with the current one.

Great. As if I needed another place for Jimbee, Big Cam, and WhiteFang to teach me and tell me what to do! Just Kidding! Thanks for letting me in on the magic and fun! I'm eagerly awaiting your PM!

The Penguin's Batman Minifigures. )
Oky replied to The Penguin's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
A very nice bunch of hot Gotham chics you assembled there again, The Penguin! I bet Nora would look great in the Bacta tank from the Republic Gunship! If you're looking for new ideas, B:TBATB is chuck-full of them! Especially the Owlman episodes: Owlman, Red Hood, B:TBATB-style Joker, and all the alternate versions of Batman, just to name a few! And I would love it if you could make my favorite character from the show, Blue Beetle! And if you should ever get tired of fig-customizing, you could always put all those great figs of yours to good use and make MOCs to put them in! To the Okymobile! -

Who says they wont be released next year and just stick around that long? And a SNOT technique. Plus they featured Lego ın one of the movies too. So you're probably right. Indeed.
-
I'm sure it was. I haven't seen it and refuse to do so. Yeah, I've seen the first one and totally agree. If ranting is the definition of fun, then yes, I!m its arch nemesis! Muahaha! Seriously though, it's strange how different tastes can be. I for one really enjoyed Stealth, Pearl Harbor, Dıe Another Day, and all those Bay movies. But then again, I study visual effects, so it's no wonder those movies appeal to me. Yeah, I agree wıth all of the above. I actually hated all the Neverending Story movıes. I'm sure they'll make a decent remake soon though. And Rescuers 2 is definitely an exception from the horridness of Disney sequels! In fact, it's one of the few cases where the sequel is better than the original. Nope. Well, I wouldn't say I love him, but I don't mind him, and I loved the movie.
-
Is that a bad thing?
-
Obviously none of you have been reading the Cartoon Discussion thread where we have been discussing the return of Futurama for quite some time. That pic is a nice find though. If there is Lego in the first episode of the new season, it's off to a good start! Can't wait!

Actor With Most Minifig Representations Within a Span of LEGO Licenses
Oky replied to tin7_creations's topic in LEGO Licensed
You are all wrong. It's Chuck Norris. You've never seen any minifigs of him? Well, that's because they are all printed in colors that are beyond the spectrum the human eye can perceive. And don't look for them on bricklink. You wont find them, because you don't find Chuck Norris - he finds you. Hehe, just kidding. All your arguments are pretty valid. And John Ratzenberger definitely deserves a spot on the list in my opinion. -
Hehe, I knew you'd come around. And I'm sure others will too. Just keep your eyes peeled. Over here, there is a sale on Lego TS practically every week, so it's only a matter of time until there is one where you live.
