  1. I'm pretty sure the US prices will be the same number as the Euro prices except with dollar signs as usual, so about $60 for the temple. Aside from the undeniably awesome temple, there's nothing that interests me really, though I might get the walker just for the hammerhead guy and that neat shield.
  2. Oh, sorry, must have missed that thread. Move along.
  3. I hope it's the more modern version. We've seen enough pirates already, and there are still more coming with PotC. Does anyone think the Man with Safety Suit might be some kind of SWAT member? A guy in a hazmat suit is more likely, I guess; I'm just playing around with ideas. I really hope the "punk" will have a mohawk. We really need an official one!
  4. These sound very promising to me! If these are true and turn out good (which I'm sure they will), they would make this series much better than S3! We've also had a surfer before. Maybe the skater is a girl too? If three is an army to you, then yes. Hehe, yeah, this would probably be the Elf/Spartan/Forestman of S4. I'd say EXTREMELY precise! It may have worked for the Chrome Vader since it was the weight of the entire package in addition to that of the set, but in this case it would only be the difference in the weight of the accessories which would be nearly impossible to detect. Feeling will be your best bet, I think.
  5. Thanks for this review. I've been considering to get this, but since you can't even swap the legs, I don't think I will. Threepio looks stupid with that giant peg on his head anyway. Can you give us a pic of the torsos without the head and how the heads look on normal minifigs? Uhm, they both got decapitated during the Battle of Geonosis?
  6. I just came across this website via Facebook. They offer 30% off on Lego giftcards, but I don't know if they can be trusted.
  7. Hear, hear! That's why I'm looking forward to Young Justice too. I just saw a commercial for the pilot that will debut on November 26, and it looks pretty good. Glad to see another fan of the Avengers and Avatar here. I never understood the complains about the final battle though. I think it was awesome.
  8. Yes, please.
  9. You can always amass multiples of each ninja color and pretend they're different factions fighting each other, like in the good old days. I think if you just leave out the skeletons, spinning tops, and more sci-fi/fantasy aspects, there's not much difference to the old ninja sets. Let's deeplink it then, shall we? It looks pretty neat. I think it might be a promo set. I hope it will be easily obtainable since it is the cheapest way of getting a red ninja along with those new "knuckle" pieces as SpiderSpaceman calls them.
  10. I'm with sok on this one. I thought it was pretty good, especially compared to the rest of S3. The only thing that was disappointing was that the fight scene at the end was a bit short (you can see most of it in the trailers). Looks like in the next episode we're finally getting back to Reps VS. Seps, so hopefully they wont screw that up, though I'm not very hopeful with General Incompetentious being in charge and the setting being "untouchable" Coruscant.
  11. Wow! This looks so epic! Can't wait to play one of those ground battles! The non-CW faces are gonna take some getting used to, but they seem to be improvements. Also notice that the Z-6 and rocket launcher are now brick-built. Kinda neat IMO. All of the new figs look great! I WANT THEM FOR REAL, NOW! Here's to hoping...
  12. I wouldn't exactly call 440×330 hi-res but at least they seem a bit more finalized. However, I believe they may still be a tad preliminary. While the trading cards show the skeletons wearing headgear (including the black Nazi helmet), the images show them headgearless except in the big sets. I'm pretty sure that the absolute final version of the motorbike will have the helmet in it.
  13. Yes, it's Fong Do. And yes, Hondo was great, as usual. By the way, please spell-check before you post.

  15. Episode 22: Lethal Trackdown OK, so Mace Windu almost got killed by a kid and some bounty hunters, and what does he do about it? Nothing. Apparently he's too busy. That is, until he sees a video of Aurra executing Commander Ponds (Boba was too much of a baby to do it again), but he is still very injured, so Plo Koon and Ahsoka have to do it for him. They travel to the Coruscant underworld to snoop around for info on Boba & Co.'s whereabouts. Plo continues Master Sinube's task of teaching Ahsoka some patience, and soon enough, they find out where the bounty hunters are. Meanwhile Aurra and Boba visit Hondo Ohnaka and his Weequay pirates on Florum. There, Castas leaves the crew because he can't handle the danger anymore, but soon he gets shot by Aurra while talking to a friend about some "information that's worth something to the right people" (anybody know what that was all about?). Aurra asks Hondo for help, but having learned his lesson about messing with jedi, Hondo refuses. And so, when Plo and Ahsoka arrive, Aurra and Boba face them alone. After Plo's attempt to convince Aurra to surrender fails, they fight, and Aurra is forced to leave without Boba. At this point, Baby Fett finally realizes that Aurra isn't exactly the best possible mother. Ahsoka chases Aurra to the Slave I and frees the hostages. When Aurra tries to escape in the Slave I, Ahsoka shows a great deal of competency in that she single-handedly downs the ship, leaving everyone to believe that Aurra is dead. The jedi take Boba and Bossk back to Coruscant where he finally meets Mace Windu (who miraculously seems to feel much better all of a sudden). Babby says that he realizes that he's been a bad boy, but that he doesn't forgive Windu. The jedi master replies with "Yeah, well, deal with it". And... that's it. No epic showdown between Boba and Mace; Boba is still a wuss; and the legendary Slave I is destroyed. WTF! This is not what we suffered through 3 episodes of winy Baby Fett for. The episode could have been much better if they would have just let Windu take care of business and have Boba grow up by the end of this three-parter. That said, the episode did have its moments. It had a decent amount of action, and the Coruscant underworld scene was very nice to see. Ahsoka was more mature and interesting in this episode, especially when she used the force to "tune in" to the thugs' conversations. Plo Koon was pretty cool too, even though he abused his powers to get a free ride. The whole deal with Castas was irritating though. Dragging him along for one and a half episodes just to have him be a demonstration of Aurra's coldbloodedness was kinda unnecessary in my opinion. Boba and Bossk will obviously break out of jail, and Filoni said that Hondo rebuilt the Slave I, so here is hoping that we'll see a real conclusion to this story arc one day. Overall, I'd say 7/10, simply because of the opportunities missed and all the wining going on. There wasn't much new in this episode either; most of it was just reused characters and ships. One great exception is the Jedi Turbo Speeder. Not only does it have a name perfect for a Lego set, it would make a nice, sleek, swooshable model too! Jedi Turbo Speeder There was also a Coruscant version of the Mandalorian Transport. The only difference is that it has a taxi-style paint job and some animated ads on it. Not very exciting, but still more interesting than the boring all-grey Mandalorian style. Coruscant Hover Taxi The only really new characters were the thugs in the underworld club. Some neat characters that I wouldn't mind seeing as minfigs, although they aren't anything special. Coruscant Thugs The bartender of the underworld club was also neat, being of a four-armed and four-eyed species. We've had some four-armed minifigs before, so he shouldn't be too much of a stretch. Tiggs Leo There was another bartender at Hondo's place, an unidentified droid that already appeared in other episodes such as Duchess of Mandalore. Also, we get to see Jedi in some more casual clothes, some sort of hospital robes. Not really the stuff great Lego sets are made of, but I thought it was interesting. Lego Ships appearing: T6 Jedi Shuttle Lego Wishlist: Jedi Turbo Speeder, Coruscant Hover Taxi, Tiggs Leo, and maybe some Coruscant thugs.
  16. The StarWars.com shop has a 25% off sale from Nov. 10-12.
  17. Kinda funny how they went from a Godzilla episode to a Lessie episode. About Mace figuring out that Boba was behind it... Well, there was no motive or any sign that Death Watch could be involved in this, and he knew that whoever was responsible was after him, so it's not all that implausible that he was able to piece it together once he saw Jango's helmet. The only question is how he knew so much about Boba. He does mention seeing him during the Battle of Geonosis, so maybe he read all the details about him in reports afterwards. As for the power of the Jedi thing, yes, it does seem kinda lame that two of the most powerful Jedi out there weren't strong enough to free themselves, but on the other hand, they were weakened by the tons of metal that they were crushed under, and the wreckage of an entire Venator threatened to come down on them at any attempt to free themselves. That made it believable enough for me. The final review of Season 2 is coming soon!
  18. Yeah, but they'll have to go back to Seps eventually. At least by the time we get to the Savage/Nightsisters episodes which feature Dooku and Ventress prominently.
  19. Well, this episode was a prequel to Hostage Crisis, and didn't he say in that episode that he was on a "meditative retreat" in order to spend time with Padme? Of course they'll return! Why wouldn't they? After all, they're the most important people in their faction aside from Sidious. Yeah, like Bane hiring Sugi & the crew for one of his jobs! Don't worry, we'll manage. Somehow.
  20. Well, it's time for a little update. Lately I've been watching a cartoon I'd like to share my thoughts about. It's The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Despite its cheesy title and the fact that it airs on Disney XD, it's a very good show. I'd even say it's on par with The Spectacular Spider Man. There's not quite as much story and character development, but that's to be expected from a show about Marvel's most kick-megablocks superhero team. The action is very good though, and the show devotes an equal amount of time establishing each character. Plus the theme song "Fight As One" is pretty darn catchy, making the intro one of the best I've seen in a while. So, if you liked the Ultimate Avengers movies, you'll love this too. I can recommend it to anyone looking for a good superhero cartoon. You can watch the awesome Season 1 opener here on the official website. What else? Well, I still watch Ben 10 and Generator Rex. They aren't the greatest shows, but still some of the best you can find on TV these days. In some aspects, these shows are even better than the Clone Wars. Ben 10: Ultimate Alien is somehow slightly better than the annoying Ben 10: Alien Force. I also enjoyed the fourth season of the Venture Bros., even though it's been kind of a lame season. And of course I still watch Batman: The Brave and the Bold which fortunately has been a little more serious lately. Good stuff. As for upcoming cartoons, I'm still looking forward to Young Justice and Avatar: Legend of Korra, as well as the second season of Superjail. Not to mention the rest of Season 6 of Futurama of course! Any updates from you guys?
  21. Thanks, Font, that means a lot coming from someone who actually designs those sets (or at least part of them).
  22. Wow, how intense! Is this the first sudden death we've had? Sure. DS sent.
  23. Yes, the episode was alright. I love Coruscant, I love droids, and I like Bane, so it was definitely enjoyable for me. And seeing Artoo get a luxury treatment while Threepio got tortured was hilarious. No surprises though, except for the thing about Ziro. Now it finally makes sense why this weirdo is so important, and why they're making these pre/sequels to Hostage Crisis. Hostage Crisis was just a cool way of introducing Bane and ending the season with a bang, whereas these episodes are about the whole deal with Ziro. I still think they should have shown them in order, but oh well. I was disappointed though that Todo had such a small part in this. He was so much fun in Holocron Heist, but here he seemed to be just doing his job. Perhaps after being rebuilt, he doesn't have the personality he had before? Maybe it's just me... Despite it revolving around Ziro, the next episode looks promising. Hopefully we'll get a nice actiony episode before we dive into the political ones again. Oh, and CallMePie, why don't you leave the episode reviewing to me and def.
  24. With Pharaoh Quest coming out soon, the mummy and pilot are totally useless in my opinion. Well, except the dark red scorpion and mustached head maybe. And I don't know where you guys are getting the idea that the gorilla has TS limbs. Trust me, he doesn't. I should know.
  25. No, I can clearly see a neck piece, so they must be separate pieces. What I want to know is if the wings are detachable. They could be useful for MOCs, but I'm afraid they're one piece.
