    They are in fact better: Forgive me for quoting you again but now that I've build it I also need rounder one - to make it even worse I need two rounder and two just introduced (80567) in the same color.

    Didn't noticed this until I saw your comment, good catch! Again - shame that license plates are stickers, but most important pieces of car are prints and it looks good without stickers (unlike Bronco R which sides I had to modify using bricks - last part is recreate front). I did - purchased it this Saturday for ~90% of current price and after building it I went to buy another one (not gonna lie - need another one for parts to build another MOC). Hopefully you'll like mine Modular Dodge Charger second generation (1968-70) 8-wide then (I'll be releasing instruction very soon [later I will remade it into MOD of F&F charger] - just last small changes in instruction & they are good to go) - below 1970 variant: FTFY (only good use case for stickers I saw so far was rust effect from creator Ecto-1 [which again had license plate made of stickers]) It's very good build IMHO Take my steering wheel! (and my axe)

    @Henchmen4Hire It depends. In case of my two already published cars they indeed feel similar (when front & back are removed). At this scale it's quite hard to do all parts openable while keeping models sturdy enough (it's easier when building display-only models, because then you have additional, fragile techniques to use but this sentence fits also for non-openable models). Good thing to do is to jump into different build to break out of repeating the same steps situation - for example try to build the same structure using different connections, if that doesn’t help build a truck, van, building or even something in different scale (it helps me as I've figured out some connecting techniques during making that different builds - not sure if it will help you but hopefully it will).

    This project started about half year ago during testing different front versions of my other published creation - Modular Dodge Charger second generation (1968-70). I'm not yet fully happy with back of the car (it doesn't allow for different backlights shape & insides are too long, which makes me unable to use the parts I wanted for back seat) & rear roof pillars (they are too thick) so most likely I will rebuild them at some point. Hood & trunk & are modular to add or remove hood scoops & stripes (since LEGO is releasing Chevrolet Camaro Z28 as Creator Expert Icons set seems like I will be adding convertible option inspired by it). 1969 Chevrolet Camaro - black: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - black with white stripes: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - black: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - black with red stripes: Are you wondering right now if you already saw back & front somewhere? If so you are correct - they are from 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A from 76904 set - both are slightly modified.     On top of that - new windscreen (so it nicely fits 8-9 wide van).

    Totally get this feeling as I wish they would make variant of 35789 part that's flattened on top so I could use it in my 8-wide collection (In theory we have 28326 but it's too wide).

    Love the fact that it's black. Once again hate too many stickers - do I really have to put P51AK3 NEW YORK plates (& other ones from Porsche set) on every big car (even for Ecto)? Custom fenders - kinda looks like upscaled Speed Champions fenders. Camaro from 1969 had that top fenders flattened (unless I misunderstood you?)

    @Bartlomiej I'm waiting since I also want to see it (if they won't release it I won't be sad since they grab me by the wallet already with that upcoming Chevrolet Camaro Z28 from Creator Expert Icons series).

    @noahtheb Hopefully I will have building instructions for mine version ready before end of this month so it will be even easier for you to use it. I won't be buying upcoming 76912 but probably will build it when instructions are available to compare them and then figure out way to add front & back from mine version.

    Thank you! There are some differences In shape (for example bottom curve at back should be one plate smaller) but this is best I could do to keep it (IMHO) visually pleasing & quite sturdy.

    From sets released this year I'm surprised by: - Ferrari 512 (in a good way - still keeping this one intact, even if windscreen feels off) - Lamborghini Countach (in a bad way - air intakes feels too fragile, put aside to rebuild them at some point) - Mercedes AMG Petronas W12 F1 (in a good way - Honestly thought I will use it for parts as I'm not F1 fan but it's only one that remains in my collection from this set) Waiting for that 76911 - Aston Martin DB5 (& 76913) to be released as it seems I will buy it (even if - like it looks like - most of details are stickers)

    This project started about year ago as upscaled version of Dodge Charger R/T 1970 from set 75893 - 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and 1970 Dodge Charger R/T (as you can see looking at it's front) & since then (well since abandoning idea of having red stripe at back) evolved into modular Dodge Charger second generation MOC but can also be viewed as MOD of sets: 75893 - 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and 1970 Dodge Charger R/T 76173 - Spider-Man and Ghost Rider vs. Carnage 76912 - Fast & Furious 1970 Dodge Charger R/T There are some extensions not yet show, I'll update this post with additional pictures as soon as they are finished. Project is 95% finished since only remaining issues are: - better insides (replace invisible from outside bricks [well, mainly plates] to increase integral stability of model - decide which details I prefer most (for example mirrors) - add movie/tv shows/other (popular?) variants of car (for example blade version) - connected to "better insides" because it has to be modular compatible (and that may require small changes in modular system like it happened few times before) So this is (hopefully not too long) intro, let’s jump to pictures of said MOC (MOD?): 1968: 1969: 1970: Old build body - without doors: Openable hood & trunk - tried different variations that would be visually nice & would fit here but I couldn't find any other than cutting three light bluish gray brackets - 99207 - so I didn't: Ghost Rider modification (1969): Additional photos of back (which I'm super proud of) for version 1968: & 1969-70: Color variations: Last minute changes (if we can call two-three weeks ago like that): used 15625 (Slope Curved 5 x 8 x 2/3) part instead of combination of 15068 (Slope Curved 2 x 2 x 2/3) + tiles + plates for better curve at back added 25269 (Tile Round 1 x 1 Quarter) in doors Both changes are inspired from upcoming speed champions set. Old versions of car are still visible in pictures - for example all colored versions (yellow/red/gray or black "Old build body - without doors") What parts are modular? - front - front air intakes with (or without?) lights and also box that contains them (intake + lights part can be replaced inside box between versions or with enough parts whole box can be replaced) - back - whole back panel - lights are different between 1968 and 1969 (1970 is the same as 1969 one) - mask - used to add air intakes or supercharger (or both) - R/T printed tiles (wherever they fit) - wheels (different variations require different wheels) - seats (different variations require different seats combination/colors of seats) Additionally this is my first post here: Hi everyone, have a great day! ------------- Update: Instructions available for free -> https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-119419/thomasanderson/modular-dodge-charger-2nd-generation-1968-70-8-wide/
