  1. really happy with 26th place, that is 4 places higher than I was expecting doc_brown claimed this in tc5 (yes I looked through the index) though MajklSpajkl was 2nd
  2. I love these little trucks and forklifts! I will have to build them someday.
  3. that makes sense since the battery box can be reversed.
  4. it should work you could hook up both motors to the different X and Y values, then by moving it 45° you could operate both motors but I am not sure if this is what you are looking for. PS can you please post some photos of your modded 4x4?
  5. Interesting looking mechanism for the compactor, but I cant see it in action if that's what the big empty space near the bottom is for.
  6. I am not sure, it sometimes works but i tried it quite a while ago with a very old iphone. You could calibrating the 2nd port first. You could try using the two motors hooked up to the same slider. this might come out soon too. maybe? hopefully? what controller do you have? I hope this is sorta helpful.
  7. the ability to code opens up lots more possibility and the C+ app is good too
  8. pu L x2 for steering mounting them on the axle + the ends on the wheel hubs then hooking a motor up to extend and retract them making the steering more precise. That was a basic explanation but i can provide more details if needed i would use joy 1&2 for steering and L2&R2 (PS4 controller) for drive
  9. very nice crane but i think you need an entry number - 25 in the entry topic
  10. I have had successes by calibrating port 1 then hooking up port 2 and calibrating again then it knows the position of both motors. You could also try linear actuators for steering. You could also try brickcontroller2.
  11. you can use your keyboard for remote control with pybricks shown here
  12. 2. Mining Truck Functions: RC Drive. RC Steering. RC Bed tipping using mini LA's. Pendular suspension. Dimensions: H X L X W: 19x 26 x 19 = 9386 cubic studs. I have made a stud.io file which can be downloaded here
  13. It does a calibration in the select the port that the motor is driven of and then it works according to the endpoints. So it will work.
  14. Indeed I have tried but it is very hard and I didn't succeed. All it did was slow the motor down. True, I usually use a pretty durable "string"
  15. Pretty well actually, I made a garage which used a long gear rack to raise and lower the door with this code: No the zero would be the middle but zero is also the middle of the slider. Yes, yes, yes. True. But if there is two winches and the elevator in the middle that would also work.
  16. Using the controller button to toggle black screen mode would be interesting too.
  17. Correct. it actually works pretty well. Using the calibration block and then the slider+x blocks instead of the loop block would work
  18. Something like this could work for that scenario: This is probably true.
  19. it is possible it is set to run the motor 10 rotations when button "0" is pressed and when button "1" is pressed it will set the motor back to the 0 position
