  1. A minifigure scale Minas Tirith would be 12 metres tall. The micro scale Hogwarts is a phenomenal set. I’d personally prefer a well-proportioned micro scale Minas Tirith than a wonky looking minifigure compatible one. If we want minifigure compatible sets, Minas Tirith isn’t a good option IMO. It doesn’t scale down as well as something like Helm’s Deep or the Black Gate.
  2. Probably “Fifty thousand. No less.” I 100% agree. I love Jabba’s Palace so much, and this diorama unfortunately means we probably won’t be getting a UCS/MBS Palace or Barge for a long time.
  3. Do you mean storyline-wise or game mechanic-wise? Because storyline-wise I think it’s already a great companion to the Alphabet Squadron trilogy, and works at setting up the Battle of Jakku. There’s not too much story left to tell there, since neither the New Republic nor the First Order have any big conflict for another 23 years or so. Also what does Star Wars purist even mean? Do you only collect Lego Star Wars and not other themes? And what does that have anything to do with enjoying Squadrons?
  4. Sloane also meets Vader in his meditation chamber on the Executor during the events of the Empire Strikes Back, while the Empire are searching for the Falcon in the Asteroid Field. Which makes a lot of sense why they’d both be in a TIE Bomber set then.
  5. You seriously can’t be that naïve that you think that because you don’t like something, that must be the case for everyone else. The majority of Star Wars fans don’t hate Star Wars, they’re just the vocal majority online. I’m personally very sick of Lego’s set choices, because the vast majority of them are all OT or Clone-based sets. Meanwhile there’s so many sets that could be/deserve to be made from the rest of the prequels (not just clones), the sequels, and all of the recent Disney+ shows.
  6. People don’t like them because they’ve all been from the Original Trilogy and a decent chunk of the pieces and price go into a useless black border. Plus they seem to be $5 to $10 overpriced because Lego knows that the target audience is able to shell out more money than kids are.
  7. They probably would’ve said 332nd instead of 501st if it were Vaughn.
  8. They better have a lot of tree builds in the Speeder Bike set if it’s $110 CAD for 4 speeder bikes on a stand. It’ll be interesting to see how they fit the Throne Room on a baseplate/border, especially considering it’s basically the same price as the play scale one, and the size of it in universe is much larger than the other 18+ sets at that price point. And it’s extremely disappointing that the majority of sets continue to be from the OT.
  9. Well this wave looks like it’ll be good on my wallet. I might be interested in the dioramas, depending on how they look, but everything else we know about isn’t interesting at all.
  10. There’s also a good chance that there’ll be minifig packs coming out in January, since they don’t follow the conventional Star Wars set numbering. Also, it’s probably obvious, but what does 2HY stand for? I’m assuming we’ll get some sets for Mandalorian Season 3 and possibly Skeleton Crew in the summer wave next year. And then Ahsoka stuff might be January 2024. PLEASE. I’d give my firstborn for an MBS/UCS Sail Barge or Jabba’s Palace.
  11. A Blurrg & Sandcrawler microfighter 2-pack with Kuiil and a Jawa would be great. I’m 50-50 on whether Kuiil will come in an upcoming set though, or if he’ll remain exclusive (even if he has a new mould) like a bunch of the characters from the Cantina.
  12. The only reason that the Incinerator Trooper appears a lot in other merchandising is because it’s a Stormtrooper, and doesn’t require a new mould for action figure companies to produce. (Which is probably the same reason why the artillery stormtrooper is included in the Trexler Marauder as opposed to the Mythrol, since it didn’t need a new mould.) Plus in terms of characters revealed (or used in toys) before the show comes out, the Stormtroopers are obvious choices, because they reveal pretty much nothing about the plot. Aside from the Client I don’t expect to get any of the one-off season one characters, but I’d definitely rather get them than another Stormtrooper variant we saw one time for a few seconds. A Frog Lady would be great, but I’m sort of glad she's probably not coming in the Razor Crest since I want her minifigure, and definitely don't want to buy the Razor Crest. And a random somewhat related thought, it’s funny that Kuiil gets short legs, while Peli Motto and Leia get full-sized legs, despite them being only 4 inches taller than Kuiil.
  13. Well I mean there are way more notable characters from season 1 than the Incinerator Trooper, who only appeared for a few seconds. The Mythrol, Omera, Toro Calican, Dr. Pershing*, and all of Ranzar Malk’s crew are way more notable. (*Although Pershing is also in seasons 2 & 3, so he’s still a good bet for a future set) I wasn’t at all aware of the situation with the guy who played the Mythrol until reading your comment, so I’m definitely not interested in getting a Mythrol minifigure anymore.
  14. A UCS Razor Crest saves me money, but the amount of exclusive minifigures is disheartening. I guess on the bright side Ahsoka is almost certainly coming in other sets, but no chance that happens with Kuiil. I really hope that characters we’ve never gotten like the Client or the Mythrol don’t come in this set. On the one positive outlook, minifig scale UCS sets are a thing that I’d love to see continue, since the over or under sized models don’t interest me at all.
  15. I unfortunately doubt the Omega will show up again, since she has a new outfit in Season 2, and they likely won’t be making anymore Bad Batch Season 1 sets.
  16. 75303 is a skipped number or cancelled set. I think it was originally rumoured to be the UCS Gunship last year.
  17. I need the Lego Weird Al from the Lego Star Wars Summer Vacation trailer. Too bad he’s not coming in the advent calendar.
  18. I assume it’s through the Lego Ambassador Network.
  19. I mean in Episode III Vader is trying to kill Obi-Wan, and in Kenobi he’s trying to make him feel pain. In Episode III Obi-Wan is trying to kill Vader, and in Kenobi he’s trying to distract him to save Leia. I don’t see how either of those intentions are more dark in Kenobi vs. Revenge of the Sith. There’s a significant difference between the silly space fantasy we all love, and real life murder.
  20. Lego has made multiple Mustafar Duel sets, which was much more violent, dark, & gory than the scene from Kenobi. I don’t think so. If anything, it suggests otherwise, since Lego probably wouldn’t be privy to the scene if it was that important. Plus it’s pretty obvious that Obi-Wan and Vader are meeting again, because we’re only 50% through the show, and story structure wise it’s obvious Vader is showing back up. Plus “Obi-Wan once thought as you did” still hasn’t been addressed.
  21. Well then. That’s a terrible decision and a ridiculous price point from Lego’s POV, but my wallet is extremely thankful. Now I won’t be buying any Lego until I get the Kenobi sets on May the 4th next year.
  22. Were we certain about the AT-AT last June? I think it just feels like we were because everyone thought it’d be an AT-AT because of the price point. (But a few crazy people still thought it was a Death Star) In my recollection it seems like we usually don’t find out what the Fall D2C is until late in the summer.
  23. I’m so excited for the Bad Batch Season 2. I really hope we get a Gungi minifigure. The only thing I’m upset about is that the new outfits probably means that the 1st version of Omega will probably be exclusive to the Justifier, which is really annoying.
  24. Omega has navy blue sleeves, with red shoulders and red at the end of her sleeves. So it’ll probably be just some red printing on her shoulders.
