    If the third set is another movie license, which one do you think it is? I have a feeling it's KITT from Knight Rider...but if it were a Miswion Impossible set that would be neat too.

    I manifested a lot of themes for this year. But there is one left... LEGO DUNE SETS. DO IT. DO IT.

    This year is also the 60th anniversary of James Bond, this makes me even more confident that the minifig will be Connery.

    Well, I am not sure what gimmick they could put for James Bond in that set, but I am curious if they will use that new piece made for Batman batmobile where two minifigs can sit in the car, that piece is in the tumblr set and the batman batmobile.

    True, I wonder if the Bond set will, include only James or a villain too, because if it's Connery then I expect Auric Goldfinger. Fast and Furious is also cool, maybe if is also with two minifigs then it could include Dom and Jakob. But in the end I think it will be only one minifig for each car.

    Sometimes ideas evolve, I see Speed Champs as a Racers continuation, and the theme is pretty old now, this is just an experiment to do something that Lego probably isn't sure if it could have a full theme or not. I bet if Bond and Fast and Furious sell they will become themes when their respective films arrive (Fast 10 and 11 and Bond 26).

    I hope it is, it doesn't mean that this will take spots of other cars. They could release let's say, 3 movie themed cars per year for speed champs and the rest would still be different car brands.

    I also wonder what the 3rd set is, another 007 set or FF set? Or perhaps a 3rd license like BttF, Ghostbusters, Knight Rider, The A Team? Oh, or even Mission Impossible! If I could give you a like I would give you a thousand, the machine works! LET'S GO DUNE! SPEED CHAMPIONS DUNE ORNITHOPTER!

    This sounds great, Speed Champions is finally the Racers replacement with movie tie ins now (remember racers speed racer sets). If they release Knight Rider later on and the Bond set is a hit and maybe leads to a Bond theme, oh my God I am so happy about this.

    What...do you mean it will include James Bond and FF minifigs???? This changes everything, they have to include their minifigs. Imagine Knight Rider, the A Team in Speed Champions. And I am so HAPPY! 2022 seems to be the best year when it comes to Lego! And if the Bond set sells well we might get an entire theme and Fast 10 and 11 could get entire waves. Now I PRAY FOR LEGO DUNE SETS. I KNOW YOU ARE READING THIS THREAD TLG!

    I think they will just reboot the show and move it to another channel or streaming service. The core sets seem to sell well and they do not have any media going at the moment.

    If a Bond theme were to happen it would happen with the release of Bond 26 which will reboot the franchise. Playmobil, already got a shot at 007, I don't think this should affect Lego's licensing since I consider them different toys. And if they consider it kid friendly, Frankly, Lego should too.

    Eh, I am not mad anymore. Just dissapointed, I would have liked an Uncharted set and it could have opened a lot of possibilities for licenses targeted at older fans.

    This was just a guess by me. It's hard to predict when a LotR theme could return.
