  1. Thanks, gang. Yeah I'm still figuring this android camera out. I should probably use a darker backdrop too and I'm still fidgeting with the lighting issue. All ears for more suggestions.
  2. Thank you. He has white dress gloves though!
  3. Meanwhile, at the Hephaestus Artillery Depot, near Fort Arltrees; Pepin the Mule-skinner; "Ahoy there! Here is the last field gun up from the harbor. I trust you have a fine crew selected for these beauties?" Marshal DuQuesne:"Oh I'm sure I have just the men they need..." Pepin the Artillerist!!!:"@$&%#!!?!" Sergeant Hobbes:"Cadets! Prepare to service the gun!" ... ... ... The End A company raising at Fort Arltrees to be licensed and maintained directly to the Crown of Oleon. This is my first whack at a troop raising. Let me know if I bungled something. Thank you! @CapOnBOBS

  7. Pirates landscaping. Love it.
  8. Worth every penny. Nice one!
  9. Ha! Sorry. This boat was what he was supposed to be loaded on but it may jave been kinda tough to see. Then I just tossed a scene with him into the boat listing as a preview. The next scene will line it out. Thanks everyone. I am getting a New Orleans/Mississippi river feel from the isl Dionysus. Hence the keel boat.
  10. Awesome. Yeah I'm digging the boots too. Gator boots!?! I shall set sail immediately.
  11. Nice use of some odd parts!
  12. Flat-bottomed keel boats, such as this one, typify the commercial coastal and river traffic around the the island of ile Dionysus. This particular example 'The Lady of the Bog', has been fitted with a small swivel gun by the Oleon Navy in order to deter all but the most ambitious crooks. Designed with a mind for trading and exploration, these vessals routinely have large cargo capacity for many boats of their size. As a consequence, the boats can be seen to carry various cargos from mail, and equipment shipments for military outposts, to trade goods and cartographic equipment for private expeditions into the marshy interior of the island. Now, this particular, lowly flat boat is about to have its various potentials tested at the hands of a madman... Thanks all. To be licensed as my first ship. Class 1
  13. A small warehouse at the Fort Arltrees waterfront
  14. That very evening. Fort Arltrees Waterfront Warehouse. LT Gabbi: "At Ease, Private. Well, Peter. Karl. How is your jail-break coming along?" Peter the Hat: "I can't believe it! Hey, whaddya say you get us some of that there amnesty too?" LT Gabbi: "You must be having a laugh, sir. You have robbed me in the past and I've witnessed this bald old-boy here, eat another man with a smile on his face!" LT Gabbi: "I mean, just look at him. Besides, I'm a man of the gentry now...and again. It wouldn't be appropriate for me to rub shoulders with the likes of ye. Now. If you 'gentlemen' will excuse me..." "...I have duties to attend to. As you were, private." Private: "MOVE IT, YOU CURS!!!" (((THWACK!))) -Thanks! To be licensed as a small commerce in Fort Arltrees:
  15. Amazing! Love the detailing. I feel safer already.
  16. By the gods! I've been searching for this thread forever. I know next to nothing about how to build a ship. Thank you all for sharing but could we maybe pin this topic? Exquisite. Thank you for sharing!
  17. Love those builds! Especially the bridge. The clothing rack technique in this build is pretty slick and the extra work on the window frame pops nicely. Now get you a ship!
  18. Curious but stately. I am really digging those cadet figs.
  19. I think something can be arranged!
  20. Thanks folks. I have no idea what his orders say so I'm just running with it and a few of your ideas...
