  1. Thanks all. The scare-lotii gave me giggles. After all, 'deception is the greater part of valour'. That was the word right? Lol. Yeah, the watercart's proportions aren't great but I just wanted to make a 'tun' barrel for some reason...also, this is Oleon we are talking about, who said it's full of water anyways? @Khorne, Whoa!!! I didn't know you singlehandedly made BOBPrussians!!! That page you've made for them is just capital! I'm thrilled to have already added to that page, albiet accidentally. As the MOC above is concerned, the orientation and minis used are the only way I could realistically represent them but I don't know how I got the notion to put epaulets on them. Too much time in the lace-lined finery of of Oleon, I suppose.
  2. Some quick moc-ups for some Oleon activity in the New Haven Sea. Preperations and the like. Fusiliers of the fabled Essener's Death's Heads, join in patrols and picket duties alongside our own infantry on the outskirts of Fort Arltrees. A company of these stout Carnite line-infantry have been garrisoned at Fort Arltrees since the previous Battle of El Oleonda. ... Meanwhile, in Nouveau Oleandia, a newly arrived "one-man-army" assumes picket duties around the settlement. Banging drums, firing off rigged muskets in volleys and brutalizing an old sheet of tin with his sword, the lout attempts to conflate the size of the garrison for any distant observers. Thanks! Just some scenes to convey activity in these settlements as the issue looms. Bit busy for a week or two but squeezed these in this week. Stumbled on @Khornes boys in the archives. I am hoping they are actually still in Ft Arltrees. If not, lemme know and I'll rework it.
  3. Beautifully conveyed swamp! For those who bore of fishing while being at the top of the food chain...lol. Let's hope our king is the thrill-seeking type!
  4. "The new phonebook is here! I'm somebody now!" Thanks for your time and effort @Ayrlego! You rock!
  5. I'm gonna be gazing at this one for a long time. Absolutely stunning. That arched roof and dome are the stuff of legends!
  6. Eslandolan elections are bizarre lol. Have you cansidered a king?!? Looks the part, bud. Loving the minifig selection.
  7. @omnihash_cz lol. That's not even the worst part, a single volley will probably throw all the spare shot and the guns themselves overboard. Needed to be a larger build with some smaller scratch barrels. They actually pulled it off irl but the platforms were massive.
  8. Very intricate wall builds. Love it. Give those Bowrey Boys what for.
  9. I woulda joined you all, if I had the right colors and minifigs is all. When you start with 20 bluecoats, the choice is obvious lol. Anyways, I found these on my Ebay voyages. If I were an Eslandolan... I know for a fact that Audi2005 is excellent, if you are in the states at any rate. ... ... I may yet... but they have decent lots of building pieces I should probably be loading up on. These aren't auctions but 'buy it now' prices. They seem to do this for a living, given the volume available.
  10. Thanks for all the support. I'm surrounded by negativity IRL, so this is a nice change of pace. I try to bring a touch of the exotic to MOC concepts and it seems to be turning the trick here so thanks again and sorry if I seem to be spamming you all. Excitable.
  11. Ah. You out-landswehred me. Lol. Good call. Slick minisfigs as usual!
  12. This thing is a ton of fun! The palette is great!
  13. Thanks! @evanceltI don't. I use a free app to crop and resize the photos as my Android doesn't have that capacity built in and only will take pics the size of the Bayeux Tapestry. I have to snap them from nearly 3 feet away so I can crop most of the image size out and the compress it, otherwise its a pixelated mess lol. I just didnt notice the bad cropping on it until it was posted. Ill check compatibility for PS on android though. I have the lighting a bit better but I will be overhauling my photo set soonly. Thanks!
  14. Floating Battery and Barracks Ship. Medium 'Fort'. Licensed
  15. Thanks gang! I'll be honest, I'm a bit ashamed of it considering the volume of time and effort you all put in on your forts alone. I haven't touched my collection in about 5years or so and I don't really 'know my parts'. I'm of a mind to get better though so all c and c are always welcome. @Khorne I will return to the prisonship someday! The whole boat is only attached by the chains!
  16. *whistles and cat-calls!
  17. @NOD,Thanks, bud. It was a good bit of fun and took all my roof tiles. The idea and design for the floating battery was from learning about their use at the 1801 battle of Copenhagen where they prooved a sharp little surprise. Some good paintings portrayed them nicely.
  18. In order to afford the citizens of Nouveau Oleandia a greater deal of protection against possible Lotus attack(or Corries), the hulk of an old trading cog has been moored hastily on the edge of the harbor and fitted with a cabin. At last! Our brave soldiers can leave their wet and soggy old tents behind and billet themselves in a wet and soggy old boat! Here some troops may be seen cleaning and refilling the community bird-feeder. The dread of all pirates...and Corries. As all good defensive posturing requires a lot of heavy metal, a low-floating battery of 32 pounders has been anchored within sight of the barracks ship to cover the harbor itself from raiders. A lone sentry strolls the deck as the garrison takes some leisure time to buy more fine Nouveau Oleandian leather... To be licensed directly to the Crown of Oleon as a medium 'fort' in Nouveau Oleandia. I have been wanting to do each of these for a bit but a barracks with no guns or a battery with no barracks? I figured between the two of them, they can pull off fort stuff. Thanks! Sent the license, not sure if I did it right. I requested a property license listing request and a blank list came back. I hope isn't an issue...
  19. Oooh. Loving the birch/aspen trees. Great carriage and that hut...
  20. Swanky shack like that, why leave?
  21. Thanks for your work! Very crunchy reporting and helpful to the confounded.
  22. Wonderful! That moron is a man after my own heart. Excellent forge and bellows. Actually, it's all excellent. I like the vast swathes of various consumer goods they are churning out there.
  23. Huzzah! Gotta love a good marching moc. Digging those bayonet bits.
  24. @Ross Fisher The very same! Excellent moc as always but the writing and image pacing made this one of my faves.
