  1. I think for Boba Fett, it was the same excuse as the kama, the cloth piece got in the way of the mech chest piece closing. Vader has a more flexible cloth cape, so I guess that type is ok. The microfighter should have a plenty of room for it though, and there is precedent with the sandtrooper dewback microfighter (admittedly from 2019)
  2. While I could increase the price, I already have more Lego budget than I know what to do with, so I won't bother I thought about making from scratch instructions, but to make the part count as efficient as possible as an example some parts from the second to last bag are in the frame, so it would be a hassle to put together. I would recommend just not putting the subassemblies onto the frame as you build them, and then modding the frame and adding / modding parts until its done.
  3. Bought it during the last 2x points weekend and I am very happy with it, IMO it looks much better in person than on camera. If you only have the budget for one and can wait till May or so for the reveal of Barad-Dur, you might want to. If you do get it however, you won't be disappointed!
  4. That looks awesome! A couple of recommendations I have though are to try to connect the lower mandible panel with a technic pin as close as you can to the tip. This will turn the mandibles into a sort of I beam with no top, much stronger than just those technic parts (don't bother with the upper mandible panel it has no tensile strength). I'd also put some structure in the walls between the docking bays and the mandibles to prevent sag, I'm not 100% with your current setup. Cockpit attachment could use some work too, looks like its gonna want to sag forward, but that might be counteracted by the weight of the tunnel. Keep in mind, a plate above and below a technic frame to lock it in place goes a long way, and technic is not the only way to make things strong. Good luck and happy building!
  5. keep in mind that most sets have a ~2 year turnaround, but Brickheadz are probably much faster due to the simple and standardized build. Barad-Dur was probably already started, but If Lego is making more LOTR sets because of Rivendell doing well, it would take around another year for them to release. Have patience, I don't think this is the end for LOTR My thoughts exactly!
  6. GWP for the sail barge? Hoping its $400 or less, but lets be real here
  7. Wait, that's fives? All I see is watermarks
  8. Does this mean only the number of figs is wrong, but the fig list is accurate? Like 1 Imperial Crew instead of 3?
  9. Oh no I'm honored that you did! Now you've got me thinking about making an update....
  10. We should've listened to the Marvel fans, they venomized the Millennium Falcon....
  11. Hmmm one of these looks familiar..... In all seriousness this is an incredible MOC, everything from the weathering, to the shaping, to even the fact that you could wrangle flex tubes in Studio all just blow me away!
  12. Ah man I should've done that! Keep in mind that the function to open the hangar requires the back wall above the doorframe to be flat. You can however very easily replace the 1x4 brick back there with a stack of plates and transparent plates
  13. ....and 75222 On another note, I would actually love to see the Cirith Ungol rooms in Barad Dur, besides they've already done something similar with the Helicarrier prison in Avengers Tower
  14. @DarthUrban @BaileyG @MuyMoka Its finally here! https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-168753/ForgedInLego/ucs-venator-main-hangar-mod/#details Wasn't happy with the back wall, so I made some changes The instructions show you how to take apart the already built set and rebuild it with the hangar, Studio was NOT happy with loading 2 highly complex models in different tabs
  15. It's so Na'over bros... Oh well, it was a surprisingly niche theme even in this community. Glad it happened so I can get some of the figs for MOCs, but I would've liked to see a little more. Any chance it'll return for Avatar 3?
  16. Not only that, but there is a brown MTT in the Invisible Hand's hangar during the battle of Coruscant!
  17. Local Walmart stocked the BP early! Building one right now (only bought one), but the 10-15 they have probably won't make it past Christmas
  18. Fair criticism, but its a battle pack. If the figs don't get you excited, the builds definitely won't. The mold of the B2 doesn't look much different, but the plastic formulation does. Looking at side by side comparisons, they have a different sheen to them, hoping this is the same sort of pearl dark grey that the new stud shooters are made of. The stud shooters are designed to have extended fatigue lives which bodes well for B2 durability, even with repeated clipping and unclipping. The Mexico factory is gonna dedicate half its production capacity to this battle pack, and still grey baseplate youtubers will be struggling to get more
  19. Oh nice, somebody posted another large scale AT-A.......wait a second. I still have to pick out individual pieces to remind me just how small this thing is! Amazing work!
  20. It can't fit through the ramp unless you twist it 45 degrees, but it fits all right in the cargo bay if its all you want to hold. No shot with a minifig on it though
  21. https://bricksafe.com/pages/ForgedInLego/ucs-venator-.io-file Unmodified .io file finished, feel free to spread it around and do whatever with it
  22. Let me introduce you to the metallic blue B2, I am lucky to still have a TORSO in one piece I think its just the pose, look at middle B2 in the lifestyle image without the kid, last image on the legoleak reddit post
  23. STAP looks good, Octuptarra looks fine, but the speeder bike and turret are becoming parts packs . Excited to get a couple, but be warned, a lot of the brick and mortar stock will probably have no minifigs because of theft. I've gotten burnt twice now with that, both with brand new, hard to find in stock sets
  24. Pretty much exactly the old 327th trooper but in the current clone trooper style, probably has 187th commander legs but the image is cropped so you can't see the purple
