[S10 - MC] Artifact Hunt: Part I
Yperio_Bricks replied to Yperio_Bricks's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
Thank you! Sorry for the stupid question, but what is a studio lot set? I was inspired by the Mos Espa Slave Quarters Row. Somehow i though such a architecture would be fitting for a Quarren living in a barren land It's is only my second moc and i am especially happy about how the terrain turned out. It is much more interesting than the ground from my other moc (for old factions). I also bought large colored paperboard, but it was not large enough, so i had to remove the background in Photoshop -
It's one of those old fashioned toy stores, crammed with a lot of stuff. They have Naboo, both Endor, Kamino and one Asteroid Field, one Alderaan. Mabye one Hoth or Yavin IV, i already forgot. Altogether around a dozen planet sets. Last year they also had one Bespin, but unfortunately it was gone when i was there today.

Today i went to town and finally picked up 9674 Naboo Starfighter and 75006 Jedi Starfighter & Kamino from the Planet Series. I have seen them on shelves since i left my dark ages and they must have been there for 8 or 9 years or so. I never had much interest in the planets but maybe i can use them for mocs They have some more (although not the most desirable ones) and next year i go again and buy the Asteroid Field & Tie Bomber

Yperio_Bricks replied to Brickshipyard's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Wow, this is so good! I absolutely love it Great idea, the mix of scales work so well and i like the shaping and colors. The cloud car! And quite some minifigs fit in there too. My favorite entry so far -
Welcome to the forum Jake When i discovered the modulars in 2019 i discovered a new world! Like you i got addicted...and then switched to Lego Star Wars haha. But surely i want to create a large city like yours one day in the future. I really like your Crooks Crib. It looks fantastic! I also like the Lego clouds on the blue wall. Great idea!

Thank you! -
*Your entry has earned 13 XP (S:5, T:4, A:4) Yperio arrived on trade world Nar Kreeta to meet his old friend Whulwurr Whe, a Quarren, who lived here with his daughter. Whulwurr had contacted Yperio some time earlier via holo transmission to ask for some droids in exchange for informations about an ancient vault that was located in one of the barren deserts on Nar Kreeta. Yperio hopes to find some precious artifacts in the long forgotten vault. So they were standing in front of the Whe house and when Yperio asked for the vault's location, Whulwurr pointed into the distance and said: "Do you see? That is the Great Sand Sea." Then he provided the needed information about the route. His detailed explenation ended with: "The locals never go there. The vault is cursed!" Meanwhile Lul Whe and a friend were mobbing up the droids. Little did they know, that one of the Gonks was in fact a priest of the cult of the power droids, traveling incognito with his entourage to spread the word.

Your samurai sith mashup works quite well It is hard to pick favorites as i like them all! Maybe the one with the lightsaber nunchaku and the all grey one. -
[M4-22 - 12x12 Vignette] Moisture Farmer
Yperio_Bricks replied to Ravelino's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Great depiction if the scene! I like your moisture vaporator and that you actually brickbuild the background (I think it would look even better without the underground base part.) -
[M4-22 - Purist Minifigures] – Gladiators
Yperio_Bricks replied to Artizan's topic in Watto's Junkyard
I like your selection of gladiators! My favorite is the Trandoshan hunter and L9-L9. Such a cool droid! The colorful flames and head work well together with the black parts -

I can only second what they others have said Great ship and hangar! Although the hangar build is reduced to the essential, it works perfect. I also like the minifig selection.- 10 replies

Great moc! I love the landscape and the posing of the minifigs. Just R2-D2 is just a blank white space from behind I probably wouldn't have noticed the double windscreen because i enjoy the scene so very much, but yeah, i agree with what Teddy said about it.
