  1. Agreed. Despite having way over 100 Star Wars sets, I still don't have a single Padme, and a Theed Battle version would be more than ideal, because it's much less scene-specific than things like the ripped shirt one from AOTC or the Queen outfit from TPM. Very strange how little sets she's in. I'm rather eager for this potential new N-1 set.
  2. I too would like to see some new sequel sets. but with all the new shows coming out and such, I don't know that room can be made for them on the priorities list.
  3. She had that outfit in Skywalker Saga, even though the "Boba Fett's Starship" thing carried over to the game. Then again, changing the name of a ship would have been much easier than somehow avoiding showing a certain outfit from the main story. Then again, yet again, that same thing applies to the Sail Barge, so one might conclude that there's a good chance of her being in the set. Yeah, lol. This always occurs to me when people say things like "They'll probably refer to her as Huttslayer Leia instead of Slave Leia". It's like, mate, they never called her Slave Leia and never will Very well said.
  4. This is insane! How long has it been since we got a leak on this scale??
  5. Afaik, we don't, but there is that strange US$200 set coming in Sep. I'm curious to see what kind of set they'll do for that; how much of a display set it'll be (Display stand? Not great for figs?), what they'll do in terms of play features, whether it'll be a location or a starship, perhaps a mini-MBS style thing... it's a strange one.
  6. Ha, let's hope they just saw your post and then left.
  7. Oh, I just remembered an even better and more relevant example. The Gamorrean guard head/torso mould came back for 2022 after its last use being in a set from 2013. That's a 9 year gap, so Jabba is surely feasible. They have zero reason to make a new mould, the old one is spot on. Also, it would give me less reason to buy the new diorama, and I don't want to have to, as I already have the new Throne Room, the old Palace, and the old Sail Barge (also the old Rancor pit, but there're no rumours or leaks of a new version of that).
  8. I love these new helmets! IMO they're the best of the line, but still not high enough on my priorities list to fit within my budget. I 100% agree. More? Haven't they all been OT up 'til now?
  9. It wouldn't be feasible to want to fully solve those issues, but adding doors and such certainly help significantly. They put a lot of emphasis on it being connected to one's "personal interests", and I've gained approval from teachers, so I reckon it's pretty much the kind of thing they want, especially considering what some others are doing. They definitionally fit "shelving", even if calling it a cabinet makes it clearer what one is talking about, but if glass doors are only an option in the end, the base product would definitely just be a set of shelves. Thank you all very much! I reckon I have enough responses at this point, so I'll probably close the survey. Big thanks to everyone who helped me out!
  10. Same story for the Inquisitors' lightsaber mould, except it was made before 2016, but also returned more abundantly with 3 copies in 1 set.
  11. The project is super vague, it doesn't have that sort of limit; people are doing things like preparing for marathons, lol. My personal goal, since it is customisable and is intended to have components (like lighting or the coloured inserts) that are optional to be able to cut costs (but that depends on how many people want each one), is for as many members of the target audience to have the ability to make it fit their budget. If there's a super expensive feature that's totally worth it that I haven't considered, and if a good portion of the people would have room in their budget for it, I might decide to include it as an option for those people. So, although I know it was a joke, a clean room probably wouldn't be feasible for more than one person who'd potentially get these shelves
  12. Thanks for all the responses, everybody! Thank you for the feedback; I'll take this into account. It might not be feasible to have all of these, but I really like the ideas.
  13. Hey there! I'm in the middle of working on a large project for school - one where we're almost completely free to do whatever we want for it. I've chosen to develop an all-encompassing and ideal design for animal-, UV- and dust-protected customisable and situation-adjustable LEGO collection shelves for optimal displaying of sets and models in an aesthetically pleasing and space-efficient way. I'd certainly appreciate it if you took the time to fill it out for me, as I'll need data from the target audience in order to make and refine the best possible design for everybody. https://forms.office.com/r/Lur7XaqnhE (If some of the wording doesn't seem right in this, please note that this is just a copy-pasted message that hasn't been context-adjusted.) (Side note: the project is merely to develop the design, and no shelves are actually being sold here.)
  14. And they're only under $30 for us at places like Kmart, with the actual price being $32.99 Bad Batch spoilers ahead:
  15. I think Rangers of the New Republic was also supposed to be a part of this before it was cancelled/postponed indefinitely. I thought that too. Interesting, though, that there are going to be 4 different $15 sets, 3 being part of a series, and then... 1 extra, unrelated thing? It's already abnormal to be getting $15 sets in August at all.
  16. I reckon the regular TIE looks really good with the new style of cockpit. I hope they use it for the upcoming interceptor, and if they do, I might buy some more pieces and copy the design onto the regular TIE. Picture: Me holding the newer cockpit onto the front of the regular TIE (haven’t figured out how to attach it effectively): https://ibb.co/tz8P6Md
  17. I'm not sure that I would have rathered that Rae Sloane have her hat, but I'm still mad that LEGO didn't make a new Imp hat mould w/ even just some generic hair to be used this year for BOTH Tala Durith AND Syril Karn. I can't get over both of them looking bald, and I'm disappointed that neither of them could have had alt. faces. Even if they won't do the mould, could they at least try printing hair on the back side of the head? I'm sure it would look better than no hair at all.
  18. I did see that! I thought that finally, with the 1x3 tiles on the side of the Santa Gonk in the advent calendar, that they had finally found a design worth keeping consistent. This version doesn't have the tiles on the side at all, and the feet use the clip pieces instead of the 1x2 rounded plates used in the calendar, so it can't connect to studs, and IIRC it uses a rounded 1x2 brick (dunno what they're called) for the legs as opposed to two studs for each leg to get the nicer height and look. Disappointed with this one. The set itself looks great, though.
  19. Sooooo... I guess the 20th Anniversary of The Clone Wars logo is on the side of the box? I wonder why the person who found it early didn't let us see it
  20. Heard someone claiming that we’ll have the sets revealed today. Anyone else heard this, or is this rando just making it up? Edit: Yeah, nvm, lol. Thought it might be worth asking just in case.
  21. Bit of an odd exception, but here's LEGO's official 501st battle pack alternate build that had proper instructions released for it and everything. Close as we can get nowadays. https://rebrickable.com/sets/75280-1-b1/501st-legion-clone-troopers-sleigh-ride/?inventory=1#parts
  22. It seems to me like this is something that occurred to literally every LEGO Star Wars fan as we watched those scenes Someone at LEGO must have had the same thought, surely. When has there ever been a better candidate for a battle pack build besides maybe a BARC Speeder in a clone battle pack? I could definitely see one with a stormie, two army troopers, and one of the security officers coming out at some point IF THEY WERE WILLING TO DO MORE THAN ONE BATTLE PACK A YEAR
  23. Yeah, I reckon she just knows about the Skywalker Saga. Surely they'd be a bit more careful when it comes to telling things to outsiders
  24. I'm pretty sure the one from ESB is still unconfirmed as it was hard to tell which it was. If it is the shuttle, then that would, I think, be its only canon appearance.
