LEGO Star Wars 2023 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

And that clone gunner wasn't even in ROTS, nor TCW. Definitely a stupid decision to not add a pilot. I'm hyped for Fox and Coruscant Guard though. -

How do we know that image was of Vaughn's helmet? It could just be the helmet for the 3 normal 332nd troops, but using the new mould. I reckon they're still gonna do Vaughn correctly. -

I tried the Bomber cockpit on my regular TIE and thought it looked quite nice, and if done by an actual designer, could have the smaller windscreen integrated in a way that would make it look just excellent. I also think the scale of the windscreen to the actual cockpit is a lot more accurate, especially when you look at sets like the UCS TIE for reference. -

Bit disappointed w/ the fang fighter's fig selection and inability to spin, but it looks pretty good anyway. Shame that they didn't keep the Bomber's new cockpit style for this set and just went back to the other design. -

At least it could potentially be used for TROS custom figs of Palpy (?) -

Oh my god yes, I remember those from Light of the Jedi, they need to make a set of that. Also would be a good way to rope some older fans into buying a YJA set to justify making it at all. -

I've seen some lower res versions of the images being reposted in various places. You could perhaps try to track down the original (or close to the original) post to get a better look at the things in the images, but the originals are still pretty blurry, so I dunno. -

These dioramas look amazing, definitely better than last year's, though I think I'll pass again considering the absurd price and amount of other sets I want to get around to buying. They're both very tempting though. The throne room is amazing looking, and I like the new hairpiece. The medium brown on the speeders is awesome, I don't think we've gotten many/any actual bricks in that colour just yet, so I wonder if it'll start getting common, or if it'll just stay as mainly a skin tone with a few actual pieces here and there. -
rip, no one else replied

No, if you compare it to Mando's in the 360-view, they're exactly the same, both dark pearl grey. -
Came up with this while in the shower. If you were a LEGO minifigure who worked as a bounty hunter, what ship set would you most like to use for the work you'd be doing? Only take into account the features of the set itself as opposed to the in-universe ship, but creative liberty is allowed (i.e. consider the various places the ship can be accessed (opening panels and doors and such) as the LEGO set represents them, but stickered control panels would theoretically function as they would in-universe). No UCS sets, as the UCS Crest would definitely be everybody's top choice. My first two preferences would be the playset Razor Crest and the Justifier respectively. What do you all think? Are there better or almost-as-good options I'm not thinking of? What aspects of the set would you prioritise when making your choice? Why am I putting so much effort into this? Looking forward to seeing your responses.

Pretty nice, though as usual, I won't be buying the Brickheadz. Just not interesting enough. -

It's very strange. Also interestingly, in Australia, the price change was from $45 to $50, and all of those sets including the Jedi Starfighter have been $50. I didn't know that the Starfighter was back at the cheaper price in America -

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but JB Spielwaren made a review of the Snub Fighter a few days ago (though I only just discovered it). The set looks better from more natural angles imo, and appears larger than it looked in the promotional images. I think I'm ever so slightly more comfortable with the price, but the lack of a third figure is still inexcusable. -

As far as I can tell, they've just been doing the black heads for Mandos that never remove their helmets (like the ones from the BP, and the loyalist from 75316 is never shown with their helmet off). Perhaps this guy does remove his helmet at some point, or maybe he's a named (but not overly significant) character. -

Or a buildable bowcaster (actually, that wouldn't be nearly as bad) -

The Duel on Mustafar Anakin only has Sith eyes for one expression, whereas the other face has normal eyes and is completely neutral. I haven't seen the episode yet, so don't reply to this with anything spoilery, but I'm pretty sure there was footage in the trailer that pretty clearly showed Fang Fighters and TIE Interceptors in a dogfight. -

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? I mean, the first one was a complete flop, but their second attempt was quite alright! That's rather silly of them. -

Since most of them release in August, we'll probably see them revealed throughout the coming months as new shows come out, and the ones that aren't based on new shows will likely be revealed at LEGO Con, or if LEGO's feeling mean, late July-ish. -

Surely it is, the mech itself is much too big to justify not sliding a little droid-figure style thing into it somewhere. Would be ridiculous if it wasn't. -

Holy cow, that looks spectacular. I'm sure it'll have a figure of the cyborg guy that you can remove, just not shown due to the nature of the image.
