  1. We saw her in the trailer, and I hate to say it, but she'll probably have long, pink hair instead of the cool season 4 hair, and might even be in a jacket instead of her armour. Should still be a decent fig, though. And that's worse case scenario.
  2. Peculiarly, the sets don't seem to be on the Australian site. I can find them on the US site, though. Getting to them through there and changing the url to the Aus site gives a 404 error. Not sure about other regions' sites.
  3. Only 5 minifigures, sure, but it seems to me that LEGO normally just goes by figures in general, droids and such included. That gives us a total of 8, which I think is pretty great.
  4. The advent calendar looks great - awesome minifigs, great selection of builds all round. Hyped for the STAP, Ewok glider, and command station.
  5. I likely will at some point as the figs are pretty cool and even this semblance of a Jedi Temple is better than no Jedi Temple at all, but I won't rush to get it like with some of the August and September sets that I'm super eager for.
  6. I suspected as much. All the better for us, then!
  7. In Australia we don't have retail-exclusives at all. Like, we'll hear "oh, x new set is an Amazon exclusive" and that literally means nothing for us. It goes everywhere anyway. The only exclusives are LEGO exclusives like the minifig packs as well as UCS sets briefly. However, in regards to the specific example of the Republic Fighter Tank, I've seen it out in the wild maybe once or twice ever.
  8. Pretty sure they get crushed by debris near the end or something This is without a shadow of a doubty new favourite typo. I will be taking ownership of it now for future use. Please and thank you.
  9. I have both 2018 and 2021, and the Interceptor seems to scale better with 2018, but aesthetics-wise it's closer to 2021 and looks better alongside it.
  10. Holy crap, the only R2-BHD fig that's been made before now was from the UCS Y-Wing and is currently extremely expensive (cheapest on Bricklink is AU$90 and it's damaged). I had no idea astromechs could be this coveted, yeesh. Now I'm super happy that this little guy is in Yavin IV. That's a W.
  11. Lol, pretty sure that's me. I stand by my reasoning though; LEGO pulled this thing out of nowhere. Shame it ended up not being the actual colour of a swamp speeder, since it's not accurate to any scene with 332nd clones either way. If it was red, I would have just used the clones for Mandalore stuff and put the swamp speeder with my 41st/Kashyyyk stuff. Now there's gonna be a blue swamp speeder sitting on my shelf being rather useless. As for the new sets: Yoda's starfighter: Wasn't interested in the old one, not interested now. Would've considered it, had it had a cool 3rd fig. Good way for new collectors to get a Yoda, but I'm sure 90% of people would have rathered something else be given this set's slot. Should've made an AOTC duel set this year and done a new Yoda's starfighter when the 2017 one is more outdated. Hard pass. 332nd BP: Highly problematic, but I'm gonna buy it for the figs anyway. I'm one of those losers who loves the helmet holes, and I never bought extra 332nd clones, so it's good to get a few in the new style. My singular 2020 one looked very awkward all by his lonesome when I was setting up Siege of Mandalore stuff. Yavin IV: Hell yes. Love it. 12 figures in a set that would normally have 5-6? Awesome. And I'm in love with location sets, particularly ones of factions' bases, which LEGO makes approximately never. The Y-Wing is excellent, adds heaps of play value and will look great sitting in the hangar at the bottom, plus I don't currently have a Y-Wing.
  12. @CallumPears's comment was in reference to Boba, not the stormie
  13. Oh damn, I didn't notice that was missing. Bit disappointing, but I already have the printed tan/orange ESB cape and the green ROTJ cape from my other OT Boba figs, so I'm good.
  14. Ok, despite these definitely being horrific garbage, they're kinda cute. I sorta like the OT Boba one, so I might get it, but mainly for the figure.
  15. I'm convinced that the only reason R2-E6 is in the Fang vs. TIE Int. is cuz LEGO wanted all 3 TIEs to have an Imperial version of an iconic droid. I mean, I doubt it was a pattern from the start, but they were probably like, "hey, the regular TIE has a protocol droid, the bomber has a GNK, and Disney hasn't given us enough info to put in any other villain characters (probably want to have 2 each), so let's fill that figure slot with a snazzy Imperial astromech." Lol, maybe the next TIE Advanced will have a sidebuild of the meditation chamber to bumb up the price so that they have an excuse to put in an Imperial medical droid. Ngl, that would be a cool set.
  16. To me the instructions look like they have nougat or light brown or something, not olive green, though olive green would have been better. However, that just makes it even weirder that he has Dobby's legs.
  17. Wait, the legs aren't even dual moulded to brown or nougat? They're just the Dobby legs?? What???
  18. I doubt it. We've never seen legion-coloured swamp speeders (in canon, afaik), and the only legion-recolours that they have done in the past(/present?) were things that appeared in those colour schemes, e.g. AT-RTs, BARC speeders, the new gunship, and I can't think of anything else.
  19. I agree with your point in essence, but I think the dichotomy you've presented is a bit harsh. I reckon heaps, if not most, of the people who would call what they do "army building" to some extent, myself included, just buy one or two extra Snowtrooper BPs, for example, for the purpose of having a better number to represent what they can see in conflict scenes in Star Wars. I don't care all too much for having the right number of each rank or whatever; in terms of the 501st, I'm perfectly satisfied with my troopers from 1x 75280, 2x 75345, and 2x 501st clone magazine foil pack to balance out the regs/rankeds a bit. I'm also very much looking forward to buying just one of this new 332nd set, as with the single one I already have from the AAT (which currently sits w/ my other 501st troops), 4 troopers plus Vaughn will be more than enough for doing some Siege of Mandalore stuff.
  20. I don't remember the 2017 one being all too popular, and the lack of a fig besides Yoda and R2 has me really close to just giving up on this new one, and I don't even have the old one. If they wanted to put Yoda in a US$35 TCW set, I bet any given one of us could list a good few better options than this.
  21. Mhm, and now a bunch of people who couldn't get a DS before due to budget can actually have some form of DS that's not too tiny. I'm very happy with it for that reason. However, because of this, the VIP coin should definitely have been a figure.
  22. Ah, damn, that's annoying. Gonna get LEGO to ship you a replacement?
  23. If it has slipped at all, it hasn't slipped much. The simple fact that you've never had this happen to you indicates this. I personally have never heard an example of someone getting a double bag and missing a part in one set before now. I don't reckon things like this happen any more often than they have in the past. I'd wait for us to see an obvious increase in things like this happening before I get concerned.
  24. They had better put those damn dual-moulded legs in the starfighter
  25. I preordered my copy of the 2020 Razor Crest in May and got the promo with it, but the Razor Crest shipped in late October (more than a month late, and I had already bought one a few days before September anyway so I sold it), and the promo arrived in March of the next year, lmao.
