I like that they’re finally doing a more accurate gonk design with the 2 1x2 tiles on the sides (ignoring the Santa costume). I’m gonna copy however they’ve done it and use that design to make a better Gonky from the BB shuttle.

They were also pretty clearly red in Rebels, even in the scenes that weren't on Malachor.

I like the set a little bit more than I did before, NED-B especially, but still not great, especially considering the price. Vader has a new cape, right? Also, I keep seeing people saying it's just rocks, and while it is just grey, it's supposed to represent sand/dust as seen in the background and of course in the episode, not rocks. In my opinion, thinking of it as dust/sand rather than rocks makes it seem a little more interesting and less bland for what it is (by that I mean, if it were rocks, I'd expect more texturing).

I like the new Vader face, looks good and suits him. Also, on IG, commanderbricks posted a picture of a moc/recreation of the new duel set, using Obi-Wan from the new starfighter since they’re similar. What I’m wondering is how did they get the starfighter early??? Edit: they also posted a picture of the figure by itself… how???

$50 US sets are normally $80 AU. I hope they have mercy on us and make it $70… Edit: Then again, last year, the $60 US Mandalorian Starfighter was $90 AU, and this year the $60 US N-1 was $100 AU, so $50 US sets could be $90 this year.

I agree. I think I'll get it anyway, even if only for the figs, but I hope I'll be able to enjoy the build as well. NED-B uses normal minifig legs rather than droid ones, but the arms don't look normal. I assumed at first that he would have a Chewbacca-style piece, but it looks like maybe a whole new torso? Edit: Nevermind, I took a closer look, definitely a Chewbacca-style piece.

If just those two, maybe it could be Mando with side-leg printing, and Grogu with a properly coloured version of the hoverpram from the advent calendar, like the one seen on the Dark Trooper Attack box art?

Good point. A UCS Razor Crest is possible and definitely likely, now I guess we just wait for it to be confirmed (or not confirmed).

I doubt it, especially considering the fact that Hunter, leaked to be included in the Justifier, is said to use the old mould, so it'll be the same figure as was in the Bad Batch shuttle.

The $100 USD, $160 AUD set is the Scythe, and the $120 AUD is the $70 USD Andor set. I forgot to include the BD-1 set in my earlier post, so add another $160 AUD set to that.

Yeah, I see what you mean. Last year, though, (this is in AUD) there was a $250 set, a $150 set, a $90 set, and some smaller ones, but this year there's a $250, a $200, a $160, a $120, and fewer smaller ones. Edit: Plus another $160 set, the BD-1.

Is it just me or will this August wave have a lot more large sets than the last few years? It'll be challenge to put enough money aside for all these, they're all so good!

The Andor Tac-Pod looks nice! It'll be a good addition to my Imperial army. I wonder if Syril Karn is Imperial, and the other guys in that outfit from the trailer are too, or if they just stole one of the Tac-Pod shuttles or something like that. That is, if it's Imperial at all! Very interesting set. I also think the thing that makes it look so small is the fact that it looks smaller than the buildings in the background. I can imagine it being about the size of the Bad Batch shuttle, but shorter in length and height with more bulk around the centre.

Woah, BD-1 looks epic! I won’t be getting it cuz I haven’t played fallen order and I have higher priorities in the other sets, but wow!

I reckon for sure that the ship in the Andor set is the gunship thing and the Tobias Beckett looking guy is for sure Luthen, And I'm pretty sure the Bespin guard looking person with the blue clothes and cap has gotta be one of the people at 0:50 in the trailer.

I didn’t get the 2017 Delta 7, so I don’t know if this works with either one, but to people who have that set, does removing the part that covers R4’s body and putting R4’s head on it make it look like a Delta 7b from the Clone Wars or does it look really ugly?

Wow, this stuff is great! I’m so excited for both of these. The interior space on the Scythe is amazing, I love both the new Obi-Wan figs, and the inquisitors are also super cool! Both of these sets are perfection imo, even if R4 lacks back printing (I still hope she has it though).

Well, for starters, about 80% of the show was Vidiyo, which almost no one wanted to see, and then for Star Wars, they only revealed sets that had already been leaked instead of revealing perhaps the Mandalorian forge or the Gunship. IMO, the only good panel was Minecraft.

I assume this means that they'll be revealing the August sets like last year (even though they will probably already have leaked by then), except the Kenobi sets cuz we nearly know for sure those are being revealed during Celebration.

I wonder if that means we get 4 (potentially printed?) orange visors and 4 orange rangefinders?

We’ll likely see at least the Kenobi sets at Star Wars celebration which I think is on May 28th.
