I wasn't including Grogu and Bo-Katan as they just come in the August set. The 6 figures I mentioned respectively were Mando, Vane, Fleet Commander, TIE Pilot, and the two "made up" ones were the pirate pilot and R2-E6. I know the astromech could have been the one on Plazir 15, but we don't know, and it's at least functionally a made up character. Also, the TIEs were piloted by normal pilots, not the new guys. I just wish they didn't get rid of it, I love seeing those sorts of scenes. That's why I didn't really phrase it as a question, lol. Agreed, high hopes for 2024. -

Out of the 6 new Mando S3 figures we just got in the two new sets: 1 is a new version of a main character we've gotten heaps, one is a cool new character with a new mould (W), one is a new character that had barely any lines but got a relatively cool figure, one has been made countless times before and is only there because it has to be, and two of them are at least almost completely made up by LEGO. I know they were just working off of concept art, but surely they could have done better than that. At the bare minimum, I hope Disney will realise their error and actually let LEGO make some cool figures from the show to release alongside it rather than the sort of stuff we ended up getting this time around. -

I mean, the cap has some printing, but it's missing the orange on the brim that denotes his rank. Syril and Linus Mosk have the orange brims, but everyone else just has the stripe that LEGO decided to give Syril for some reason. So yeah, if there wasn't a name on the box, you could successfully make the argument that it is a generic corpo and definitely not Syril. Pick literally any of the generic corpos from the episode that's light skinned and beardless - the figure's more accurate to them than Syril. -

Called LEGO customer service about this, and they confirmed it had just gone out of stock really quickly and ended up giving me AU$20 worth of VIP points as an apology lmao. Those guys are great. -

Would be weird if they ran out since it hasn't been up for long and the other two are still available. I went to try a test cart on the US site to see if it came up then but I forgot that it's not May for those guys yet (skill issue). I'll be busy for the rest of the day, so can someone from the US please post here if/when you are able to try to get the promos? -

Is the Death Star Plans promo not available in Australia? I bought the two Mando s3 sets + a snowtrooper BP to get the DS promo, but only the X-wing and DS were added to my cart, and I can no longer find anything about the plans on Australian LSAH. -

I agree about dual-moulded legs being the best option (with side-leg printing too in some cases, particularly when the kama is the same colour as the legs e.g. Fennec Shand), but I would say I prefer the fabric ones to the printed ones they're doing now, particularly on figures where the kama contrasts significantly with the legs and ends up just being a small strip when it's printed. If they won't ever do dual moulded legs though, I think they should have the printing that they're doing now in addition to fabric ones, so that the figure can still sorta have the kama on when sitting down, and people can just go with their preference. -

If you hadn't said this I reckon I'd be convinced. All of the details are seemingly spot on to the TSS version, besides the mouthpiece being printed lower on the physical version; however, that difference seems to be present on all of the clone troopers compared to their TSS versions, so it's exactly what I'd expect. No discrepancies with obviously repurposed, or decalled, or 3rd-party parts. -

Assuming you mean pauldrons, there was the Artillery Stormtrooper with one a year after the Cantina. Well said, fully agree. It's super inaccurate, and the figures leave much to be desired, but somehow I still see it as a must-buy. The quality of those builds is just top-tier. I think you're thinking of 75322 Hoth AT-ST. The one listed there is 75332 AT-ST, i.e. the 4+ one, lmao. I'm not surprised that one's there. I was thinking you might've spotted Condordia in the sky in the background given that it's in the same system, but I checked and it's not there, -

Oh my gosh- I know the ISP is the swamp speeder, but whenever I read "ISP", my brain tries to autofill the acronym and gives me "Imperial... uh... Swamp Peeder". INFANTRY SUPPORT PLATFORM. GET WITH IT, BRAIN. -

I hope the downscaled Y-Wing coming in Yavin IV has some semblance of a bombing mechanism. I never bought any of the older Y-Wings, so it would be a shame if my only one lacked its defining feature. Even something as simple as that of the TIE Bomber, though smaller to fit within the Y-Wing's shorter height, would be sufficient. -

I mean... 2019 was LEGO Star Wars, 2020 was ESB, 2022 was AOTC (which they sorta did), and 2023 is TCW and ROTJ, so we've got a sample of 5 years where we had 4 anniversaries. Even if you don't count AOTC, we've been getting a double up this year, so it's still 4 total anniversaries over 3 anniversary-celebrating years. -

I doubt it's a Y-Wing considering there's meant to be a small one coming with Yavin IV. -

Yeah, I guess the old one was only really inspired by the EU ship anyway. Though technically, it's 100% accurate to the source material given that the exact model is the one in the Yoda Chronicles. -

About the fang fighter + TIE, it's pretty brilliant. My only complaints are: 1. R2-E6 should have been something else, or if it turns out to be significant, there should just have been a 5th figure. 2. Fang fighter's wings don't move. But that's it. That is all. Everything else is great. -

Exactly the same for me. I restrict myself to one of each set excluding small army builders, though I branched out slightly when I bought a second dark trooper attack (though it kinda is still a small army builder). I highly doubt it. Despite the popularity of making legion-themed variants of vehicles, LEGO has never done this themselves except for the few edge cases of AT-RTs, BARC speeders, and now the new red Gunship, but all of these appear in canon media. We're not getting themed fighter tanks, swamp speeders, or anything like that. No chance of a 501st gunship or whatever.
