  1. It was reinforced above the original chassis without any "damage";)
  2. I noted that rims are more glossy (laquered) and less grippy - tire slips more... Also take a look at inner reinforcements: you cant fit lovely third party 108 mm tires (Ansmann/rc4wd) on this rims!
  3. Thats better for wife/family when husband/father is building LEGO at home, than spending time at the bar or garage;) your collection includes epic models (8110, 8043). Save or save;)
  4. Rolling is bad! Silver metallic beams are easy scratchable!:( I have destroyed one portal hub already - performance decreased. Dry groung and Sand is real bad conditions.
  5. I have built this car two months ago (nico's video instruction at youtube). I locked steering for my son. He lauched this car forward at hills to jump. That was fun. Now it stands at my shelve with L motor worm gear at each axle and servo-steering, not finished yet, but crawls good:)
  6. Nice review. Are you going to test all sets with suspension such way? I hope that LEGO did not sent you 41999:))))))
  7. Yes, I was at Billund in the end of may and get my set right from conveyor:)
  8. Power pullers fotos here http://brickgarage.blogspot.ru/2013/07/41999.html
  9. What are you going to do with 9398 chassis? I want to save upper part of chassis, so it can fit any upper body developed for 9398 (incl 41999) My plan is to mod standart chassis. Axles wil be fully rebuilded and servo will be only at front axle.
  10. Are they 97 mm (or David mistakes)?. 97 is too big for lower suspension!
  11. I am the one who going to buy as many sets as I can. Reason is simple - Russia dont have official Lego stores incl S&H. Many russian fans asked me about this set, and I am going to buy them and then to resell. Yes I will resell them at higher price, but only to cover all transport expences + little time and nerves compensation. I will make more money just selling parts at my parts store, than selling sets (shipping big boxes is a big problem cause of packing....) I am going to help Russian fans who supported me in this challenge. I also want to present 2 sets to my and wife's parents and buy some sets to my schoolmates who, never played LEGO but strongly asked me to buy them this sets. I dont know yet how to realize my idea. If someone can help me with buying and then shipping to me this sets I will be glad and thankful (incl. financial). May be someone here has its own bricklink shop and shipping is not problem for him - write me p.m.
  12. I dont think that price will be much cheaper than now at BL. Price for L is between XL and M. price for servo about 15 Euro is normal. What are you waiting for?
  13. We should work on this! It is a big challenge to select right wheel size. Should I lift wheel arches higher? I am Thinking about 3 versions: 1) live axles with awd motorization and slighty lifted suspension (without wheel portals) and 68 ballon tires Slow, but Fun to play: awd with low center of gravity 2) rear live, front independent, RWD motorization, low suspensionand 56/62/68 sport wheels Fun is depending how many buggy mototrs I can fit here 1 or 2 3) rear live, front independent, RWD, 4sp gearbox, v8 engine, low suspension as low as possible and 56/62/68 sport wheels Detailed model for shelve;) 3rd - supercar
  14. I love your Fiesta very much!
