  1. I think should buy the CaDa Servo. Also, I went to my local Lego store recently, and they were still selling PF motors, even though the article said they would stop in 2020. I wonder if that excludes the US.
  2. I will post pictures of my defender in a few hours. I have made massive changes.
  3. Good idea. I do not currently have any Planetary Wheel hubs in my parts collection now-I will have to buy 4.
  4. I love the F1 (The car on the left), but I'm not a fan of F1 cars (the car on the right). Still, it would've been a better choice than the Dodge Challenger and Dragster.
  5. I understand. Do you have any recommendations? By the way, I think the best choice for my Defender is 2 XL PF motors. I was experimenting with a M PF motor earlier, and it was way too fast and too little torque. It doesn't help that I am terrible at building gearboxes, so I think the XL is a good choice for a beginner like me. Plus, it may be slow, but it will be more capable.
  6. I did some research on BuWizz, and I'm not quite sure I understand what you're saying. From my knowledge, the BuWizz is a Bluetooth-controlled battery box with no motors. Does the BuWizz block come with more motors? Thank you for telling me the difference. After watching the video, I prefer the PF more. They are more powerful and customizable, and the Servo is better quality compared to the PU motor. I am leaning towards the 2 L motors option. However, that Is my inexperienced opinion, so what do you think? Should I choose: 1. 2 L PF motors, 1 PF Servo motor, BuWizz 2.0 Pros: Better speed (relative to 2 XL PF motors) Cons: Less torque (relative to 2 XL PF motors) or 2. 2 XL PF motors, 1 PF Servo motor, BuWizz 2.0 Pros: More torque, better for off-roading (relative to 2 L PF motors) Cons: Painfully slow (relative to 2 L PF motors) Can you please share a link that explains C+ motors? I do not know what they are, and googling it doesn't help. I will be sure to keep what you said about Servos in my mind as well. I found a cheap option on Amazon for only $15, which seems like a better investment compared to Lego's price.
  7. Thanks for the advice! According to what you have told me, here is what I need to buy to motorize my Defender: 1 x BuWizz $149 / 122 Euro 1 x 42124 $129 / 106 Euro 1 x 88004 Servo Motor(for steering) $15-90 / 12-74 Euro (Price translation from Google, apologies if it is incorrect.)
  8. Thank you, I think I have a general idea of what I'm working with now. I don't think I'll include a gearbox. One more question: Do you recommend buying a LEGO Control Hub, SBrick Control Hub, or BuWizz Control Hub?
  9. Hello all, I am new to technic, with barely any knowledge of gearboxes. I want to make my Defender and RC, but to add the two L-motors, I have to remove the rear gearbox. How will this affect the car? Will I need to build a new gearbox?
  10. Oh, sorry! I won't do it again.
  11. This is amazing! The interior is extremely detailed. I love the rear the most, the shaping there is incredible.
  12. I really love the roofline and angled rear! That SNOT technique on the front is beautiful as well.
  13. I agree, the C3 and C8r are bad, as well as the challenger and dragster. So far, my favorite set of this wave is the Ford 2 pack.
  14. I love the detail! I agree this is a big step up, and I love the custom trench coat for one of the minifigures. Great touch!
  15. Wow the facade is beautiful! The inside could use a little more decoration, but I would definitely buy this if it were a set.
  16. I can't even imagine the hours of work that have gone into this, this is truly a magnificent build. The mechanism is too complicated for me to understand, but I have no doubt You've had to go through a lot of trial and error. Maybe you can integrate it into a building of your own!
  17. Yes, I just checked on Racing Brick's website, and he said to make sure all the differential are facing the correct way. I will check now.
  18. Yes, I just checked. I think the problem is in the differential, but I can't find out what is wrong with the differential.
  19. I just finished building my Land Rover Defender Technic set, and I have a problem with the functional pistons. For some reason, when I push the car around, the pistons do not move, but when i pick up the car and spin one wheel, the pistons move. Does anyone know the source of this problem?
  20. I agree, since Lego switched roadplates, they should switch modular plates too.
  21. After seeing more reviews and pictures, I am starting to like the 2021 Speed Champions lineup more. (Except for the Supra, which is still atrocious)
  22. Great build! I might try to replicate this into my city.
